Contacted ANOTHER company for clearing of clogged sewer line. After nearly 3 hours, technician informed me he was unable to clear the line, and suggested using drain camera to see where blockage was - informed me reason line couldn't be cleared was due to a break in my sewer line, gave me estimate options to repair, and charged me for use of camera. I contacted SHERIDAN PLUMBING for second opinion. They showed up as scheduled for initial consultation, discussed alternative options, and asked permission to allow crew to try and clear the clogged sewer line - made crew available the same day. Called me to let me know when crew was on their way, and let me know exactly how they would be approaching the problem. Within less than 2 hours of arrival, sewer line was clear! Can't say enough about the professionalism and thoroughness of Kevin and his crew!

Responded to service call quickly. They came out same day. Work was done promptly and professionally.

This whole experience went so well! They had me send them pictures of the items that needed fixing thru email and then sent a quote the next day. A couple days later, we had an appointment set for them to come do the repairs. I wasn't home when they actually came out, but my husband said the work was done quickly and very cleanly. He was very happy with the whole process.

I had a leak in my dishwasher connection. Water was spraying all over the place. The technician responded to my urgent voicemail message immediately and was there within the hour. He quickly replaced the hose, explained to me what the issue was and handled himsellf very professionally and friendly. I would definitely use this service again! I was also able to use my Angie's List coupon for $25 off the service.

I contracted with them to put in a whole-house humidifier. Someone came out to measure and give me the estimate. The day of the service, the installer was supposed to be here between 8-9 and showed up a little after 9. I could see by the box he was carrying that the humidifier was much too large to fit into the space. He called his boss and said he would try to find another smaller one. He could not. He said he might be able to fit it in but it would be difficult for me to get into the unit to clean the filter. I said don't do anything. I had also contracted for them to clean my dryer vent. The day before, I called the office and asked if they would have to get into my attic area. I live in a condo and would have to move a lot of stuff to gain access. The woman I talked to checked with somebody at the office and called back and said that they would not need to get into the attic area. When the installer asked if I still wanted to clean the dryer vent, I said yes. He then told me he had to get into the attic. I said I had called the day before to check and he said "I guess we have a communication problem." I guess they do! So I got nothing done. I'm surprised by the good reviews this company got here. I never even got a call of apology. Would not hire them again. I'm going to hope for the best with the next company.

Called Sheridan plumbing due to great reviews on Angie's List. Mike picked up at 7 AM (just after clocks were moved back) and said he would call me at 8 with specific time frame to be on site. I called again at 8:30, Mike stated someone would arrive before 11. An employee arrived and began prepping job around 10. Mike arrived shortly thereafter, evaluated and oversaw the work and left just prior to completion. Paid additional ~90 for chemicals to be placed direct in line as Mike stated it comes with documentation confirming a one year guarantee against root growth. Mike also stated he would provide a receipt via email that more clearly outlined services performed. Received handwritten receipt while on site. Never received receipt or guarantee documentation and I did not chase him down as I'm dealing with a basement cleanout/insurance company at the same time. Would definitely use Sheridan plumbing again - he was on site within 3 hours of my call. I'm not expecting the yearly reminder we discussed for proactive maintenance due to the lack of communication on the paperwork. Would not pay in full until receiving documentation promised.

They were very good. I was having a knocking and pinging noise and someone else had come out and told me that it was dishwasher that was old, but it turned out not to be the case. They pointed out that it was the valve, so I guess they were a little more knowledgeable. They were quick and clean and there were no problems. I had no complaints. I had used them years ago.

Called early in the morning, they arrived before noon time. Explained everything and fixed the problem. A few days later there was a small leak, I called them and they responded within a few hours. I would use them again.

I had a badly clogged main drain out of our house. They had 3 guys there working within 2 hrs of calling. They did a great job.

It ended up being a 4 hour process when it seemed like it should have only been 20 minutes. They came for a seemingly short appointment at the end of the day and they stayed late into the evening to take care of the problem until it was rectified.

Everything went as they promised. They came on time, they did the work as promised.

Kevin Sheridan answered my call promptly and provided same day service. He and his workers were courteous, efficient and experienced. The basement was suctioned dry, and the job was well done from start to finish.

I called Sheridan to have a drain replaced and a new sink hooked up. I had roughed in the sink prior to the plumber coming. My first problem with Sheridan plumbing was that I was told they would arrive on Thursday between 2-4pm, so I took a half a day off from work to be home. At 3:30pm they still hadn't arrived so I called and was told that the last job ran late, the plumber would arrive shortly but they probably wouldn't get to it that day. While I was upset with this since I lost time off of work they promised they would be there the following morning first thing. Sheridan was on time and the plumber did nice work and was competent. He finished in 2 hours and supplied the shutoff valves and 3 feet of PVC for the new drain. I supplied everything else. The big Issue I have is when they dropped the bill on me. $529.43 for 2 hours of work and $15 in parts. I called the owner, received a call back but I was on the other line. I called back immediately, left a message but did not hear from him again. I stopped payment on the check so I would get a phone call and it finally worked after two days. He said that was a fair competitive price and that he needs to make money. Be careful using sheridan. They are trying to get rich on small jobs. Don't make my mistake and make sure you get an estimate first.

They were able to come on short notice to solve the proplem, were prompt and helpful. He also gave me solutions on what could have caused the blockage and what to look out for in the future to help alleviate the problem. My only concern was the cost, but given that they came last minute and did solve the problem quickly, it was OK.

They were helpful and on time. No problems to report! Have hired them again since and will call them again when we need a plumber.

They were prompt, professional and completed the work quickly. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.

Overall a great job, as our hot and cold water faucets in the tub were leaking. We have two sets of hot and cold faucets, one that controls the shower and one that controls the bath. He let me know that the fix would not last more than a year, since these are old faucets and the parts are not made anymore. He was able to fix the problem by filing down the old pieces and then putting them back together. So far they have not leaked.

We called at 9:AM. They said they thought they could help us and would call back. We called back 50 minutes later. They said they had left a message but the number they left it at was not our number. They said someone would be there between 12 and 2. The guy showed up around 1, identified the problem, explained what he was doing, found the curb line clean out and got to work. He was done before 3.

They always come out when they say they will, they do the job correctly and their prices are reasonable.

I discovered that my basement had flooded and the sump pump was not working. Recently widowed, I did not know what to do. I called Sheridan from work, which is 10 minutes from my house, they gave me a 2 hour window of when they might get service to my house, and offered to call me 15 minutes before arriving so that I was able to stay at work until they were on their way. The technicians were professional, respectful, and had the job done in 1/2 hour.
