The Sheridans did an assessment and came back with two potential options that made sense and Mr. Sheridan spent a generous portion of his time explaining the pros and cons of both while suggesting what he thought was the best option for me. He suggested we go with one powerful humidifier for the whole house versus trying to replace both humidifiers (1 for each furnace). While it wasn’t the cheapest job, it was obvious that he saved us a lot of money through his honesty (having us buy one humidifier) and experience. He also fit us in his schedule the very next morning! It has been almost 3 weeks and we are extremely pleased. It’s nice to have a quality service provider with very reasonable rates that you can fully trust.

Tom & Scott arrived @ 8:30AM (for a 8-10AM start time). They were friendly & engaging. They got right to work. They answered all of my questions & the service was done before I knew it.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Sheridan plumbing. At first I thought the price to unclog the kitchen sink was a little pricey (200 and change) but it was a flat fee as opposed to an hourly fee and he ended up having to cut a pipe in the basement in order to unclog it and did not charge any extra. He gave very helpful advice but did not try and upsell expensive modifications to the plumbing. He did point out things we may want to consider in the future. He was polite, friendly, and cleaned up everything when he was done. I was very appreciative they were able to come on a Saturday. I called many plumbers and their prices were comparable to other quotes I received.

They arrived exactly on time, were very courteous, and kept all areas of the house clean. They fixed everything as advertised even though it required some extra effort on their part to gain access to some areas. The results were great and I would use them again without hesitation. I also spoke to the owner of the company and his 'family' attitude explains the friendly and warm behavior of the employees.

We had no heat over weekend. Called first thing Monday and morning and they had somebody out within a few hours. Tech quickly accessed problem and fixed it. Very short visit and the heater is now, thankfully, running properly. Tech was extremely pleasant and professional. Rep answering the phone is excedingly nice and very helpful. The responsiveness, friendliness, and professionalism would make me recommend this company to everyone.

My experience was very positive. I called Sheridan because our main sewer discharge pipe in the basement was leaking (a very old pipe). Got a couple of estimates to replace it with PVC and thought Sheridan's price was fair/better than the other estimate(s). Their estimate also included adding a separate trap/discharge pipe for the water from the washer to drain into (previously the washer water drained into a utility sink which had a 1.5" drainage pipe. The new one goes directly into the sewer line and is a 2" pipe). Although they couldn't provide an estimate on the spot at the house, they emailed me later that day with a written document with the price and work to be done. Installation went smoothly and they re-connected the washer, dryer, and utility sink for me. Later that day, I did find water under my kitchen sink due to a leak from a coupling that connects two sections of pipe together. (I wondered if this was due to vibrations from when they cut the sewer pipe since the kitchen pipe is/was connected to that sewer line. ?) It was after normal business hours, so I left a message (I had the option to get an immediate call-back if it was an emergency, but I didn't do that since it wasn't an emergency) and the owner called me back the next morning to schedule someone to come back out. Turned out to be a simple fix, as there was a nut/washer that was broken and the coupling was loose. They replaced it quickly at no extra charge. Would use this company again.

I was most impressed by the responsiveness of this company to tend to my plumbing needs the SAME DAY I CALLED THEM! I had spent 30 minutes prior on the phone with other companies shown on Angie's list, all of whom could NOT provide same day or Saturday service (they could do Saturday, but at extra exorbitant cost). The company's receptionist named Susan (I believe that was her name) was VERY pleasant, and you could tell she wanted to help me, unlike the other companies, some of whom were curt on the phone.

This is the 4th time that I have contracted with Sheridan over the past year and each experience has been really positive. They arrive promptly, are professional and always have the right equipment with them needed to do the job. Last year, I hired Sheridan to clear a clogged main line and on another trip to install a new water heater after it was damaged from a flooded basement. They also installed a nifty new water-powered back-up sump pump system (so the basement won't flood again during the next big power outage).

I contacted Sheridan Plumbing after seeing an overflow of my sewer line at the curb. I spoke with the head of their plumbing dept. (may have been owner, Kevin) and he had me contact my Township water and sewer authority to check the main in the street and explained that responsibility varied by Township. The Township came out immediately and checked all of the mains in the street and said that they were clear. They explained that in my Township the homeowner is responsible for the sewer line from the home to the main in the street. I called Sheridan back and setup an appointment for the morning of the following day. I did not discuss any pricing. I did discuss pricing with a customer of mine who owns a plumbing company in Philadelphia and they said that they charge $125 for a sewer line cleaning and $199 for a cleaning and camera inspection. They are a large company so I was expecting approximately the same price. Sheridan's technician came out and cleaned out the pipe from the house to the main and made sure all of the toilet lines were clear in the house. I was not home so my wife handled it and discussed with him. She did not get a quote prior to the work being completed. After completion, the tech called me and thanked me for the business, told me what he did and gave me the price. I felt that the price ($281 with tax) was high for the work completed and based on the quote that I received from my customer who is not licensed in New Jersey. I would use Sheridan again based on customer service and responsiveness alone but I am presently looking to remodel 2 original bathrooms (a service that they provide) and feel that there would be more competitive pricing out there. I will make sure I get a quote next time.

We had had two other plumbers out previously who didn't know what the problem was and suggested we call a roto rooter and contact CCMUA for marking the drainage system so a snake didn't break off. He estimated a job in clearing the sewer from the street would run about $1800. We contacted Sheridan and had a speedy response. The plumber arrived early in the time window we were given and quickly identified the problem. He located the drain by the street and was able to clear it on the outside of the house without bringing the machine inside. He was considerate of our flooring and put down a mat to prevent everyone from tracking water and debri that had flooded in the basement. Besides making sure that all of the toilets flushed well, he made sure that the washing machine drained without problems as well as the tub sinks in the basement that had become clogged as well. And the whole cost was only $280. We couldn't be more pleased and grateful to Sheridan. We will definitely use them again when we need a plumber.

The plumbers arrived within the time frame; were professional as well as courteous. They performed the work quickly and efficiently. They applied the Angie's List discount to the estimate for the work. We would definitely use Sheridan Plumbing again and will refer this company to our friends and family.

The plumber was friendly & "tightened the packing" on the main shut off valve. I consider myself a "regular customer". This was the 3rd time I used Sheridan.....all with good results. The cost was $125.00 with a $50.00 discount..final cost $80.25. That seemed like a lot of money for 10 minutes of work.

Josh was timely, friendly and professional and did not forget to give me the Angie's List coupon discount. Susan coordinated my appointment. She was very professional and communicated thoroughly. I will definitely use Sheridan again!

Sheridan Plumbing literally saved us thousands of dollars! We had a backup in our sewer system and instead of calling these guys I panicked and called another company since I knew they would be able to come out right away. BIG MISTAKE! The guy from the other company came out, saw that I was a woman who lived in a nice home, and decided to TRY to take advantage of me. He said he removed the blockage but upon inspection of our lines he told me they were in horrible condition and were about to collapse if I didn't get them replaced for $6000. I originally called Sheridan to give us an estimate on replacing our sewer lines, but after talking to Kevin we decided to have them inspect the line with their camera for a second opinion. I am SO GLAD we did because upon inspection of our lines Kevin and his team said they were in great condition with no issues at all. This is an honest company for sure. The entire Sheridan team is always friendly and courteous. They are always prompt for their appointments and take the time to explain what is going on. Love these guys and will be using them again in the future for any plumbing issues. We already use them for our heating and A/C and will continue to do so.

Overall, it was a pretty good experience. The only problem that I've had is that they don't return phone calls or e-mails very well. They were supposed to contact us in order to do a service agreement and we were supposed to get some rebates, but my husband had a difficult time getting a hold of them. We still don't have our service contract and he dropped off the rebate form about a month ago and hasn't heard back from them.

They were called to fix an obvious leak they said I did Not have. Let it continue to leak for a week which caused much more damage to floor, wall, ceiling, they said use our adjuster only. You have a claim. They made it worse. A new plumber found and fixed leak behind wall. Insurance denied my claim. Said to Sue Sheridans. They cursed me out. Very unprofessional. Provider showed up within estimated time, and took about 10 minutes to complete the repair. He was professional, courteous, and there were no problems. The Angie's List $25 coupon was applied (would've been $142). I guess all plumbers are higher priced than we would wish, but it wasn't a heart stopping or gut wrenching price. When I need plumbing or other work they are qualified to perform, this is whom I will use.

Greg was on time and friendly. He was able to perform the repairs in an affordable and timely manner. He also provided great advice for future repairs.

Their responsiveness was very good. The guy was knowledgeable and he did a really nice job. It just looks really nice. And he didn't seem to oversell us on anything. We were happy with the end result.

It was clear to me that these were experienced professionals who knew what they were doing. They were patient with me and answered all of my questions while they worked. I will definitely be calling them in the future.

The service provider came at the time they said they would and was considerate of the fact we had company at the time. He checked out the air conditioner as well as our thermostat and was very professional throughout.

WENT VERY WELL. WE DID LEAVE SEVERAL VOICE MAIL AND ONE EMAIL MESSAGE THE DAY BEFORE HE CAME OUT, BUT WE REACHED HIM EARLY MONDAY MORNING AND HE HAD ALL OF OUR INFO. HE ARRIVED A FEW MINUTES EARLY, IDENTIFIED THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM QUICKLY, AND REPLACED THE WAX SEAL WITH A DOUBLE WAX SEAL. THIS STOPPED THE PROBLEM! HE WAS NEAT, POLITE, AND QUICK - THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE LASTED LESS THAN A HALF HOUR.
