I hired them to do regular maintenance on my Central Air unit. I was very pleased with their service and their professionalism. They are suppose to come back next week for this year's maintenance.

We bought a deal from Angies list for an AC tune up from Sheridan. When scheduling the appointment the office manager was very friendly and helpful with information. They were in the middle of creating the schedule so needed to get back to me with a time. After I called a second time they got right back to me with an appointment time and had me on the schedule. The day of the appointment went very smooth - the technician was running a little behind and the office manager called me to make sure it was ok. Once he arrived he was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He was honest about our AC system (we had just moved into a new house so didn't know anything about it) and did not try to sell us anything. I would definitely use Sheridan in the future and recommend them!

They did very well. They were very efficient, very quick, and were very good. They came out when they said they would. It was easy to deal with them. I like their thoroughness and they were clear about the filter; we already changed it and they were able to see that. They would not have changed the filter for us because they didn't have any of that size either, but as my husband has changed it, there was no problem. They told us it doesn't have to be changed. They gave us a sheet of points to grade our air conditioner, basically, saying that it was fine. I didn't go out and watched him do everything but it seemed like he's very efficient. He had a sheet for us defining everything he did and what they found. We would recommend them. In responsiveness, I'll probably give them a B because we wanted them to come out sooner but then we got a cold spot, and so they didn't come sooner because they're waiting for it to heat up again, and they didn't explain that.

Fine. Arrived within time window. Quickly diagnosed reason for the leak. Efficiently removed toilet and reset it on secure base, replacing the wax ring which had deteriorated. Checked thoroughly for any leak when job was complete. Cleaned up. Plumbers were skilled and courteous.

I have literally been having problems with the pipes in my bathroom leaking into my dining room ceiling for years! Everytime I thought I got it fixed, a spot would appear. Finally, I called Sheridan, as the suggestion of a neighbor. They were quick to respond, and knew right away what the problem was. They were at my house for 2 days, the workers were professional and pleasant. They explained exactly what the problem was. They were neat and careful. Most importantly, I have not had one leak since they fixed it. Thank you, Sheridan Plumbing!!!

I had some problems with this company not their work but, how they treated people. It has been some time since I used these guys but, Angie's list keeps sending me emails to rate this company. They did the work I thought $200.00 to move a gas line was a little pricy the whole job took about maybe 10 minutes if that. I think I got a discount because I am an Angie subscriber. I problems I had with this company was how they thought of their customers, I spoke with the owner and we got that all ironed out, he did apologized and he proceeded to do the work. Would I hire them again maybe, I said yes because there wasn't a "maybe" option.

Polite and responsive in terms of the quote. We are likely to hire this company to conduct the work.

Job was completed quickly and satisfactorily.

They did a great job in diagnosing the problem and fixing it in a timely manner. They asked and/or informed me of every step they did before they were performed.

Sheridan Plumbing and Heating Inc. came when they were supposed to come. They did a good job. Everything was clean and working well. My overall experience with them was very good. They were very responsive.

Contacted the Co. over the phone. The receptionist was very cordial and accommodating. She made the arrangements very convenient. She explained what the service entailed. The technician was very courteous and neat. He completed the checking of the AC unit in a reasonable amount of time. We will use them in the future if the situation doesn't come under our contract with the Gas Co.

Pricing was about $2000 less than PSEG wanted for a similar unit from York. Everything went smoothly with one minor adjustment to seal up a few leaks but that's just fine with me. The unit is super quiet and works incredibly. I actually had to contact them again a few days later because my AC unit froze. They came out first thing in the morning to diagnose. I had to let the unit thaw so the ice would melt in the coil and then they came back a few hours later and charged the unit. I will definitely use Sheridan again in the future. I found them fair, professional, trustworthy, and thorough.

They were there on time, did the work without a hitch, and were in and out in approx. two hours.

Sheridan responded promptly and attempted to clear the line. Kevin Sheridan phoned me to say that the pipe under the street was broken. He advised me to call the township of Audubon. Audubon is not responsible for the sewer line from the curb to the street. Kevin Sheridan even spoke to the township on my behalf to see if the township would repair the problem. Sheridan plumbing advised that this was going to be a major and expensive repair. Once I contacted my insurance company, they sent out their own contractor to fix the problem. That contractor was very slow in responding to my problem. That contractor was Resolve Rooter ( don't ever use them). This company is the total package...great customer service...reasonable pricing...prompt response time to assess the problem. I highly recommend this company to all my neighbors!

I think that they were very conscientious and punctual. They do a good job. I've been pleased with them. Everybody was very professional. We've never had a problem. They did it at a timely manner. I thought their price was competitive.

I wasted 2 hours of my day for them to review all my systems and then they never got back to me. No proposal, no quote, no phone call, nothing. I called them back twice asking what's up and again no responses. It's not easy taking off of work.

It went fine, just a little more expensive than I thought it needed to be.

Sheridan Plumbing Saved my a$$. I had a newborn and a fiance that were displaced during the entire fiasco, from the moment the kitchen flooded to the day they were finished. They came in and made an awful situation bearable. They were polite courteous professional and above all, they were understanding. they worked with our public adjuster to ensure that we were not waiting for someone dragging their feet before they started to make our house a home again. They called and addressed all of our concerns. they took every phone call, and responded immediately to any messages left for them. I truly have nothing bad to say about Sheridan plumbing and i highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and professional company.

Sheridan plumbing is a pleasure to work with. Phone calls are returned promptly and they make every effort to work with the client. We had a sump failure after Sandy. Sheridan came out quickly and replaced an old pump with a Zoeller. A liberty sumpjet was also installed, and the price was reasonable considering the long distance between the pump and the water supply. An unexpected sump issue arose as the sump primary discharge was blocked outside of the house near the street, and so the sump was discharging against an obstruction. Sheridan offered to come out quickly and worked with us using a camera system to diagnose the level of obstruction close to the street. Ultimately, they determined that the drainage line was partially coursing uphill causing the drainage line to pool with water. This was eventually regraded, and Sheridan also added another secondary sump discharge line into our gutter system should there be any future issues with the primary line. Courteous workmen, who also took care with our wood floors by putting down carpet. That is unusual. Anyway, I will be using them again should the need arise.

Excellent Service - considering I was in a real bind! Prompt service. Price was exceptional considering all the trouble he went through. This was an old pipe in a old house & he was done in about an hour. A very reliable contractor with very reasonable prices. I highly recommend him for your Plumbing needs.

Ordered the system through Home Depot. They came, they installed, and wetre finished ahead of schedule. Very pleasant and easy to deal with. No problems at all.

I took the afternoon off of work and wanted to spend money with them addressing all of my problems but they never followed up with me as they said they would with an estimate. The guy who came out, I think Matt, said he'd give me an estimate by that Thursday and here we are a month later and nothing. I emailed them a week after they came out asking what was up, and then I called them and have still heard nothing. Waste of my time.

With family visiting, I needed to fix a completely blocked bathroom tub. I checked Angie's List and saw that Sheridan's was nearby and well reviewed. I called and was answered immediately by a courteous knowledgeable lady.Within 10 minutes Kevin had called me back on my cell. He was responsive and said someone would be over within an hour but call first. I was so impressed that I also mentioned two other issues that I would like them to look at. Within 10 minutes Joe called to ay he was on his way. Joe arrived 10 minutes later and my son let him in. By the time I got home 15 minutes later, he had fixed the blockage and was looking at the plumbing and heating.Joe diagnosed the water pressure issue, which had been looked at by other plumbers over the years. He showed that it was caused by the water meter size and gave me the number of the local water company from whom I had to buy the new meter. He said to call him as soon as it came in and he would install it. He then looked at the old hot-water radiator system we have. He said he could fix it. The furnace needed a new auto-fill backflow preventer and a new circulating pump. Joe went to get them, returned 30 minutes later, installed the new equipment then drained the entire radiator system and bled every radiator in every room. He took off all the covers, carefully removed decorations and replaced them. He tidied up after he touched anything. I had to leave then (and asked Joe to finish up and let himself out). Joe let himself out, locked the door and left the house in perfect shape. He also left a heating system which worked in every room for the first time since we bought the old house, seven years ago. I found Sheridan's to be professional, courteous, knowledgeable, flexible, efficient and good to do business with. This was the surprise of the holiday season and the best gift one could get.

I contacted Sheridan Plumbing & Heating, Inc. because of its Angie's List reports/ratings and the fact that it is a very local company. Owner Kevin Sheridan came to my house for an estimate for this job and potential much larger job. He e-mailed both estimates and, for the smaller job (which was priced higher than I expected, but Kevin said that this was based on 2 workers for 4 hours), he included a list of parts that I had agreed to buy separately from someone whom I know, whose family owns a plumbing supply store. Because they do not work on Saturdays (!) and I would otherwise have to take time off from work, I scheduled the [smaller] job for the morning of Christmas Eve, when I had the day off. The workers were to be here at 8:00 a.m. and arrived at 8:17. They were done by a few minutes after 10:00 a.m. Because the estimate was based on 4 hours of work and the job was done in less than 2 hours, I expected a significant decrease in the charge; however, when the bill was presented for the full amount and I asked the worker about the rate, he advised that it was a flat-rate job. Also, I was told by phone that I could pay by check or credit card, but, when I presented my American Express card (which provides a cash back percentage), the worker said that his company does not accept American Express, so I had to use my debit card. Also, the company did not factor in the $25 credit for contact as a result of finding it on Angie's List (the onsite workers insisted that I pay the full amount on the invoice) - I had to call afterward and a credit was subsequently given. Overall, I am satisfied with the work that was performed; however, due to the fee issue, I would not use this contractor again.
