We had a major problem, the system had been cleaned and we were still seeing blockage. Mike our guy came out fast and quickly had the issue identified. It turned out the issue was at the main. We had the town dept. of works speak to Mike. We also had a video of the problem and we are hopeful the township will resolve the matter at no cost to us

Not good, they came, looked at the pipe, went in Van for 45 mins, came back in and said they can't do the work but could replace the entire furnace, O and here's your bill for $69.

On time, clear estimate, work completed.

Went great, let me know that as my piping interconnects with my neighbor's (row houses dating to the 1940s), he couldn't actually snake the bathroom sink. That was after he looked in my attic and my neighbor's attic to see if he could gain access to the vent pipe from above. Did snake the tub - which is now draining much better. In addition to the snaking, he recommended and had on hand a bottle of enzyme declogger for the sink - hopefully that works!

We had a new washing machine installed by Home Depot and when we started our first load the entire full washing machine of water flooded down thru the floors to the kitchen. We called PipeWorks for an emergency visit because we thought a pipe burst. Mario from PipeWorks came and found that Home Depot did not attach the water drain pipe securely on the back of the washing machine – it had popped off the back. So $404 later Mario saved the day. He spent alot of time testing the machine at different cycles to make sure there were no more leaks. I would highly recommend PipeWorks & Mario for any regular or emergency plumbing project. But shame on Home Depot for their shoddy installation.

Cost almost $1,000 to swap an old valve with a new one. I’m my home for 15 minutes and charged us $595 for this service. Everyone reading this knows this is unethical and charged us $250 to come out on a Sunday, which would have been fair if they didn’t charge $595 for a repair that should have been $125. Think twice if you don’t want to be robbed because of the town you live in... unethical company.

Fedi from Pipe Works came out today to fix a leaky kitchen faucet and was warm, friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He always explained my options before committing to work, and I feel he really wanted what was best for me and my situation.

Called for broken gas furnace. Came out and efficiently fixed the problem the same day. Would use again for repairs. They offered to deduct the price of the repair of a new system if we decided to change out the system since it is 18 years old. While the sales person was very nice and professional, he was a little pushy trying to sell us a system. Has called back numerous times. We ended up using somebody else who was offering a more efficient Lennox system (the brand Pipeworks was selling) for a few grand less.

Pipe works are one of the most professional service organizations I have ever worked with and I have hired many. They gave me a very accurate assessment of the job and what to expect, the cost was within market guidelines and the execution was second to none. Job site was exceptionally clean, so much plastic hung in my basement it looked like and episode of Dexter. Jonny the project manager was very communicative and professional as well as the rest of the crew: Washington, MikeG, and Malik. Highly recommend!

It went very well. The team arrived on time and delivered professional, courteous, and excellent service in a timely manner. Odin, Washington and Shakil worked very well together and thoroughly explained how to operate the new system. The also provided great clean up.

Immediate source of leak was identified; no leaking pipes, although they recommended overhauling the old pipes

Went extremely well Nick was fast and curtious and very clean was a big job and I was very impressed at how well it was handled. Frist time using Pipeworks and I highly recommend them.

Company came back to the house and re-measured and re-sized the radiators and decided that the new boiler needed to be replaced with a larger capacity boiler (see previous review of 1/25/18). Another new boiler was installed (for no additional charge) and we now have heat in all areas of the house. The two men who came to do the re-installation did a good job with the installation and made sure all radiators were getting hot with new boiler. The one room that was getting very little heat with the first new boiler was up to 69 degrees on the first morning after the re-install, so this is a big improvement. Our house may be very difficult to accurately size, but the final end result was good. In addition, everyone that we dealt with during this whole process (since October) was very polite, from the technicians who came to the house, and the office staff – who were especially helpful.

Despite numerous visits, they were NEVER able to get heat to all parts of the house after the installation of a new natural gas boiler in September. This boiler replaced an inefficient 30-year-old oil fired boiler, which had to be replaced as it could no longer be repaired. I had no idea how good that oil boiler was!! Specifically, the radiator in one room never gets hot enough long enough to heat that room, and other radiators were slow to heat up. Company said that the lack of insulation in part of the house was the cause for one room not getting heat; however, the old inefficient oil boiler was able to provide heat to this room and the rest of the house (& more quickly too). Even on a warm day, heat is not provided to this room, so I don’t this insulation is the real issue. They said oil provides a more intense heat, but if this were true, why would anyone make the switch? For $9000+ the boiler should heat the entire house and they even charged us an additional $700 to balance and replace steam vents, which had NO effect on the heating system, and we continue to have very little heat in that one bedroom (we are now using a space heater). I will now have to hire another company to have the boiler evaluated, as I believe it is under-sized for the house. Although everyone was very pleasant, I would NOT recommend hiring this company.

The guys were on time, and very neat. It was done quickly with very few issues. Fixtures are running great and they have great follow up.

Mario was very polite and efficient. He explained what was going on and why the new type of valve is better. The representative on the phone was also great at answering my questions when other companies would not. The price was higher than some other places I looked into, but overall they were great.

My furnace wouldn't stay on through the night. I called Pipeworkslast night at 12:30 and they were here with in the hour. The best and most reliable company I have ever dealt with. I am an old single woman that lives alone and doesn't know anything technical and they made me feel so comfortable and trusting. I am going to call them for everything. The technician wasn't bad to look at as well!

I had smith come to my house. Replace the water heater he did a good job and fast. Thumps up.

Great. Big Nick was very courteous and thorough, explaining options clearly without a hard sell. He also knew what he was talking about, and seems to have done an effective job since I'm warm again -- just in time for November. I also appreciated getting updated on his arrival time through email and text messages.

The plumbing work was acceptable, no leaks; at completion of job, the sink was loose, had to remind the plumber to caulk between vanity and sink; with some research, the same job could be done probably at half the price (by skilled, licensed plumbers)

Okay, so the phone service and responsiveness is top notch. They can get to your location quickly. I will definitely give them credit for that. The replacement of the main sewer drain pipe and HVAC tune-up were great. In fact, that's what made me want to use them again for the laundry center installation. However, this is when things did not go so well. First, when they came for the first project, I noticed that their prices were about 20% higher than most. However, I was definitely willing to pay that premium for the work they did and the responsiveness. This is their strength, hands down. BUT... Here is their weakness that soured me on this company. First, the water heater replacement estimate came in at twice the amount of other estimates. Twice! That's fine. I ended up not going with them. That's why it's good to comparison shop. But, when it came to the installation of the laundry center, I was going to do it myself, even though it was in a tight spot inside a closet. It was awkward but doable. However, since they had done such a good job on the first project, I figured I'd splurge and let them install the laundry center. I estimated with parts and labor, the MOST it could cost was between $300 and $400...and that's a lot. It took into account that it would probably take them an extra hour disconnect the old unit and install the new one, due to the tight spot. Again, it was so straightforward, I could have at least done the disconnect myself, but I was tired and going out of town, and I figured I'd just hire them to do it. So, they came to do the repair and called with an estimate. And it seemed the minute they knew that I was out of town and that I preferred for the job to get done on that day so that my tenants wouldn't be inconvenienced with another contractor visit, they inflated the price astronomically. I expected that their prices would be high, but the level of the markup was astounding: just over $900. To put that in perspective, the laundry machine itself cost $1100. Their price was about three times what it should have been, even taking into account the premium pricing I expected and the slightly awkward installation location. The reason why this soured me was that this pricing moved beyond premium pricing into the realm of exploitation. It struck me as something a company does unethically. They build a trust with one or two jobs, knowing that you're going to trust them. Then when you need them or you're in a pinch they slam you. It felt very deliberate and shady. The sad thing is that I truly thought that I'd found my go-to place for all the plumbing things I didn't want to do myself or didn't have time to do myself. I was so thrilled to have found them and to recommend them. And then this left a very bad taste in my mouth. It was so disappointing because it reminded me that this place was the stereotypical gouger, living up to the negative reputations of greedy contractors looking to exploit people in need. I'm okay with a little greed. But this felt so outrageous. I was definitely willing to pay premium prices for premium service, but this was really excessive. I thought other people should know so they can be a little wary of trusting them too much. They do good work, but I think other contractors do good work as well. I wonder if this level of sticker shock is worth it beyond emergencies. Maybe this is how to use this company--for deep emergencies when you need them fast and know you're going to pay through the nose anyway. If money is no object, this is the place to go. If you have time to shop around, that's probably the best way to go. Good luck!

Very well. The men were very courteous and clean. Runners were put down to protect the carpeting. They vacuumed where needed.

Tried to sell me a super expensive system overhaul. Asking around after the service, it seems I was charged a steep amount for the Freon recharge with leak seal additive. I also never received an invoice.

I could not be more pleased. We contacted PipeWorks and scheduled a consultation within 2 days. Lloyd, the consultant was knowledgeable, professional , and very understanding about our concerns with the esthetics of the unit. PipeWorks obtained the necessary permits and arrived at 9:00 to install the unit. The two technicians, Gio and Steve and the electrician Ryan were excellent. The cooling unit was installed on the second floor and the first thing they did was to cover the stairs with a protective material to avoid any damage to the stairs or track in dirt during the installation. We have had a number of contractors perform work on our home over the last 30 years, and the PipeWorks crew were about the most professional and easy to work with. Based on the work they did for us, I can highly recommend them.

Work done was good....no complaints. What I don't like about Pipe Works is that the people who come to do the job, try to sell you on other services that you don't need. This time, I was offered a new soft water heater for $2500. He didn't even want to look at the current one to see what might be fixed. I called Culligan, the unit was repaired for 1/3 of that amount and works fine.
