I was very pleased with the service I received from Pipe Works. From my first from John Sorrentino, who provided great guidance and estimates for several options, to the great crew who showed up when they said they would, worked hard all day, and really knew their stuff. The bottom line is that Pipe Works price was very good and their service was even better.

We recently worked with Frederick Akridge from PipeWorks for some major plumbing upgrades, and his meticulous work left us thoroughly impressed. He installed a pressure-regulating valve, multiple shut-off valves for the main water line and water softener, and even replaced the corroded safety valves for our washing machine. His attention to detail is unmatched. What truly set him apart was the care he took in explaining everything he did. He walked me through each valve, making sure I understood exactly how to control the water flow throughout our home. It's rare to find someone who’s not just skilled but also takes the time to educate their customers. I have been a Pipe Works customer for a long time. While they are expensive they are usually respectful and responsive. I am done with them. Should have bagged them when they did my generator and then tried to increase the price to my wife because they measured incorrectly. This time my wife called on Friday explained she needed a dryer vent (2 foot run) installed, she was informed as that a tech with a full truck of parts would be over the following day to quote and move forward with repairs. Tech came and quoted me $850 to drill two 4" holes and install the kit. He said that he needed parts and could not come until Monday. Normally I would never pay this as it is outrageous but time is of the essence so I told him to go ahead I even offered to pick up the part from home depot as this was time sensitive, he said they don't have the staff to do it today but would return first thing on Monday morning. My wife got someone to wait at home while she dropped my Son off at school and when she returned nobody was there. My wife called just before noon to ask why nobody showed up or called.and was told it would not be done today. Mind you nobody called just a no show. She was told it was a part issue, I called and was told told by Jared that they have no techs available. Which is it? I asked if I could speak to management and was told that he was at lunch by Jared. I then called back and was told by Adriana that he was in a meeting. I asked which it was and she laughed in my face. I asked her why she was laughing and she continued to chuckle. Terrible customer service, not reliable, not truthful, and they just don't care. There is a saying "good aint cheap, and cheap aint good." Well Pipe works your not cheap and not good.

They charge a $59 service fee, which would be reasonable if it were an indication of their pricing. Their low fee is a deceptive practice to get them in your home where they hit you with an exorbitant quote for doing the work requested. They know no one in their right mind would pay their base prices, so they have to rely on deception to drum up business. The owner will say, "every job is different" but he won't acknowledge that if he gives people an indication of his prices he'd never make the initial $59 dollars to begin with. I had a simple dishwasher install that I was struggling to do myself because of arthritis. They wanted $600 to hook up water, drainage, and connect three color coded electrical wires. Refused to budge on price, so I refused service. Then demanded the $59 service fee because he was an "expert" that came out and evaluated everything. In his "expert evaluation" he missed some corrosion on the copper water line that required me to replace it anyway. I would stay away from these crooks.

We called PipeWorks for an emergency hot water heater replacement on a weekend. In approximately one hour, they had a technician, Pablo, at our house to assess the issue. Pablo was extremely professional and made safety during the COVID pandemic a top priority as he did his work. He was able to get us a replacement water heater and install it the same day and completed the job within a few hours of when he first arrived. He answered all of our questions, did a terrific job, and even called us later that evening when we had reached out through the main number with a follow-up question. We were so grateful for Pablo's expertise and professionalism.

Pipeworks charged me 50 dollars more than what was originally quoted for sewer line inspection. Also, it has now been a week and a half after the inspection and so far I have not received the report or video of the inspection from them. When ordering the inspection one week before the date, they said it would cost $275 and I would have the report and video within 24-48 hours. Then one day before the inspection they left a message saying the cost has gone up to $325. We heard the message the morning of the inspection and it was already too late to change plans. We called them and asked why the price has increased - they offered no explanation whatsoever. The inspector who showed up at the house was good, knew what he was doing and gave us good verbal feedback after his inspection. However, after a week and a half of no report and no video, I have now asked them for a partial refund.

We were so lucky to be able to have Pipe Works as our plumber. In the middle of Coronavirus lockdown, our water hose connection to the upstairs washing machine rusted through and broke, causing flooding into our first floor. Pablo came out promptly (with a mask), and figured out the problem (it wasn't clear to us), and gave us an estimate and a time-table to fix it the next day. A life-saver to us. Could not recommend more highly.

I thought it went fine until this morning. I found a water leak coming from my furnace. I called my home warranty company who dispatched a local company. Found a piece of electrical tape had been placed over the hole where my condenser should have been draining. No one has touched my furnace since Pipe Works and that should have been caught during maintenance check. My condenser hose was also completely clogged and leaking. Also should have been caught during the maintenance. I paid Pipe Works over $1,300. I feel like I was robbed and will be filing complaint with BBB.

Zach from PipeWorks came today to install a new kitchen faucet and do an annual clean/diagnostic of the basement boiler. In both cases, he discovered and patiently explained upgrades and replacements, which he performed expertly. He also answered all of my questions with care – including the dumb ones – and explained the charges clearly. Zach didn’t try to upsell me anything unnecessary – he did what he needed to do and didn’t do what he didn’t need to do. Finally, he’s a very nice and polite guy, which made the event comfortable and trustworthy. I’m thrilled with my upgraded faucet, which works perfectly, and glad to have the boiler in tip-top shape for the season. I happily recommend Zach and PipeWorks to be your in-home experts for fixes and recommendations.

Pipe Works is a team of real pros, from beginning to end. First, you have Tricia (sales) and John (system design specialist) helping me figure out the right system up front. Even offered financing if needed. Then Ryan (Install Manager) stops by the day before the install to checkout site and make sure he's got everything covered. Then Shakil and Odin (installers) show up at 9am prompt for a full AC replacement installation (Condenser, Coil, Furnace). Shakil and Odin were true professionals (thorough, experienced, personable and efficient). They did a great job. Installation with no issues. They even cover the floors with protection and were mindful of the walls. Phil (electrician) checked out the electrical work. Updated the circuit breakers and ran the wiring that was needed. Also a professional with patience to explain things. And then Ryan (install manager) rounds back at the end of the day to ensure that all is well. Great job Pipe Works Services!
