Description of Work: Once I gave the details of my situation, the women referred me to another company that may be better suited to fix my problem. I was very thankful, she could have easily sent someone to my house and wasted time and money just to tell me we should use another company. Operating with honesty and integrity is something I highly value. I will certainly use them in the future.

Description of Work: Mike arrived to my house promptly, put on his floor protectors over his shoes and moved quickly to investigate the issue with the bathroom. Didn't take him two seconds to find the location of a leak that was coming down my kitchen ceiling and gave us suggestion on what to do with it, since the issue wasn't caused by the plumbing work. He checked on the bathroom fixtures that were installed recently by another company and tightened up the loose sink faucet free of charge.

Description of Work: Jesse and Joe (owner) replaced my toilet in April and my bathtub drain pipe in july. both jobs were done perfectly. Calls are returned within minutes, they show up on time and provide very thorough explanations of the work that needs to be done. Before they leave, they clean up everything. Their prices are on the high side but if you are looking for an honest, reliable and skilled plumber, I highly recommend Margo!

Description of Work: We had actually found this company for two prior emergencies. Both times a person answered promptly and scheduled a visit to assess and provide an estimate. The first time it turned out the problem was due to the water meter and they diagnosed the issue and gave me contact information for the town to get the issue fixed no charge. Second time we though our sewer was blocked because sump pump started pumping water up through the kitchen sink. Turned out sink was just blocked and prior owners of house had had the sump pump drain to the the kitchen drain line!? The unclogged the line that morning and very inexpensive for urgent service call. This time we looked on Angie's list before doing several projects and since they had good marks and we had a good experience with them we moved forward. They did a detailed assessment and provided an accurate estimate for all the projects we requested. This included removal of concrete slop sink that had been leaking and installation of replacement with washing machine shut off, repair of two indoor shut off valves and replacement of two outside faucets (one relocated for easier access) and installation of an new external faucet, replacement of sump pump and battery back up sump pump as well as converting sump pump drainage to bring it up to code (install a line to the outside storm drain system which was already in place), and finally tune up our central air. The most expensive items were for the sump pump because we went with a higher end model instead of keeping our old pump and just fixing the the drainage line to bring up to code. They were prompt, worked very hard in awful heat and finished on schedule. Were very professional put down protective mat for walking from outdoors to my basement, work protective booties, offered to come back when we were avilable to review all the work since I had to have a relative with them while I was at work even though they took the time to explain everything to my mother while they were there.

Description of Work: First came and checked to find why I had no hot water--came when he said he would be there. Explained everything he was doing, what he thought was wrong, and what the repair cost would be. Did say that they were a bit more expensive than other companies, but guaranteed their work. Made a temporary repair so that I had hot water. Came back a week later to complete the work. Would have come sooner, but I was away for a long weekend. Replaced the broken parts according to manufacturer's specs and throughly tested system before leaving. Again explained what he was doing step by step to me.

Description of Work: Very satisfied with the response from Margo Plumbing & Heating sent by them with regard to a labor estimate from another vendor. They were right on the money (pardon the pun) and most prompt on their responses. This was my very first experience with this. Needless to say I am most satisfied with the handling of it.

Description of Work: Hands down, a professional and responsive team. But hard to decide to go with them when we got the same service from another provider for nearly four times lesser in price. If you can afford it, you wont go wrong.

Description of Work: The owner Joe personally came and did a terrific job. I had him come and do a routine maintenance job on my two Central AC systems. He was thorough, he called me over at each step of the way and showed me exactly what he was doing, he provided extra services such as adding additional duct tape to my AC ducts that had been ripped and helped me figure out a confusing thermostat set up without charging me extra. At the end he extended a discount that he had offered me over the phone without me reminding him AND he added in the Angies’ List discount on top of the other discount, which I was not even going to ask for since I assumed he wouldn't offer me both. Top notch service and a totally trust worthy company!

Description of Work: They installed a new water heater and did all of the connections. They removed the old one for us.
