The workers were very responsive and professional. They came and completed an estimate and then the job on short notice. Jack did a thorough job of explaining to me what work needed to be done and the different methods that could be employed to complete it. He understood my desire to have a quality job done, not necessarily the cheapest.

Late on a Saturday, I discovered my basement was flooded. Jack Stern of Martinelli Plumbing and Heating was the only contractor of the several I contacted who recognized the emergency, returned my call, came out immediately, and stopped the floodâ which I really appreciated. Over the next couple of days, he dealt with the damage and efficiently brought everything back to normal. He explained what was needed, kept me informed on progress, and coordinated with me on hours convenient to me. He and his team did a fantastic job.

Just excellent from start to finish. Clear communication and a good initial ballpark cost. Sent a team member over within half an hour to check on my leaky hot water heater. Clearly explained what was needed including 20 year old pipes not up to code. Replaced the heater in less than two hours. Extremely friendly and efficient staff. Jack from Martinelli Heating and Cooling responded promptly to my request for a diagnosis of my heating unit (which was not working properly). Within 10 hours of my request Jack and his crew were at my home, replacing my very old HVaC unit. Jack provided a fair price for the work and completed the job within 1 day. He provided status updates throughout the job and remained professional throughout. I would highly recommend Martinelli heating and cooling. Great service

I had a 30 yr. gas heater and a new air conditioner compressor, coils etc installed. Lucas and Javier did a great job. They were polite and courteous, answered my questions and cleaned up after the work was done. Jack Martinelli returned my phone calls promptly and was very accommodating. Overall price was reasonable and in line with local HVAC competitors. I would definitely recommend Martinelli Plumbing and Heating Inc.

I am very pleased with this company and their plumbers. Jack and his office worked with me to get my new tankless hot water heater installed, communicated throughout the time it was to be installed, and he really wanted to help me out. The previous hot water tank( tankless) was installed by another company and did not have the work up to code after a few pics of the original tank set up was sent to Jack. The plumbers that came to do the install, Dave, Jake & Jack were very efficient, did a great job and cleaned everything up when they finished. Thanks so much guys!!ð ð »ð

Had a leak under house bad pipes hard to get at, did a good job and a good price.

Compared prices from four other providers and Martinelli was best. Service was provided on a timely basis and very professional. Clean up was excellent and am very satisfied with the experience.

Short notice was able to help us get water service restored after pool installation cut main supply. Lots of digging but very professional and thorough. Price was fair and we will definitely look to hire again for other projects.

now Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness DO NOT USE JACK MARTINELLI!!!! Wholly unprofessional and a scam artist. We found him on Home Advisor back in July 2020. He had good reviews and seemed very nice (HE IS NO LONGER LISTED ON HOME ADVISOR). We quickly learned the truth. We paid Jack Martinelli to put a water heater in our rental property. He tried to scam our insurance carrier (USAA) for $10,000 and charge us $1500. Needless to say, our insurance carrier didn't pay them that amount. My insurance carrier also recommended that we don't utilize their services ever again. They inflate prices and are very unprofessional. Also, the water heater wasn't installed up to the New Jersey code. We learned that through inspection, after receiving the inspection report on Friday (9/18/20). I called him (9/19/20) to discuss it and see when he can install the copper jumpers. He became rude and started cursing at me. Mind you, I called on a Saturday morning, and they were supposed to be 24 hours. He said, and I quote, "what the f*** do you want me to do about it at 8 clock on a Saturday morning. I'll call you on Monday." then hung up the phone. Wow! PLEASE, PEOPLE DON'T USE THEM!!! There are too many NICE professional plumbers out there. This piece of POO doesn't need your business. They did a good job replacing our sewer line. Our only problem was they were going to come back to seed and level the dug area, which they did not.

Great communication from one of the owners in regards to appointment. Send two different guys to do the Installation. Granted something came up and had to arrive later (told me and I was okay with it). They came and got it done with all new rough in and work quality looks great.

The workers were very polite, clean and efficient. Mats were placed down from the doorway leading all the way to the 2nd floor where the water heater is located. Jack is a pleasure to deal with and the pricing is very fair. Jack even followed up with a call immediately after the work was completed to make sure I was satisfied. Excellent customer service during very difficult times we are all facing.

Three technicians arrived to make sure that we would have hot water and air conditioning by the afternoon. Each one was very courteous and careful to keep the worksite clean. Cloth runners were put into place prior to work to protect our carpets. Received a follow up call from Jack, the owner, two days later to make certain that the systems were working to our satisfaction.

This is my second review of Martinelliâ s. They just finished remodeling my shower stall last week and yesterday installed flooring for two rooms in one day. Team arrives early and works hard to get the job done. Highly recommend for all your renovations!
