After getting several estimates for a walk-in tub I went with Martinelli Plumbing even though their price was about $5K more expensive because I wanted a local company and because their salesperson told me they had installed hundreds of walk-in tubs and had worked extensively in my neighborhood so they understood the "quirks" of the houses. On the first day they cut the water main which flooded the bathroom and adjacent laundry room. It was an accident and, aside from the mess, I didn't get upset. They said they would use some equipment to check the walls to make sure no water got inside but they didn't. When I brought it up they just put their hand on the floor and said it felt fine. The next day they determined that, even though they had measured several times, the tub would not fit through the bathroom door. They determined that they would have to bring it into the adjacent bedroom and cut out the wall and pipes to slide the tub in. It worked but the resulting dry wall repairs were extensive and very messy, dust throughout the whole house. They put in new pipes and a day later, when the tub wouldn't drain properly, discovered that it had been piped backwards...another repair. The wall between the bathroom and laundry room also had to be removed because of the flooding and pipe repair and when that was repaired they forgot to reconnect the condensate drain from the furnace resulting in another flood in the laundry room over the weekend. The next day they came to me and said I'd need to pay $600 for an electrician to wire the auto drain. I reminded them that they told me it didn't need a power drain, that it would drain in the traditional gravity drain. Turns out that wasn't true, the weight of the water would never allow it to drain without the pump. I refused to pay any more money since I was already paying $5K over the other estimates. Next was installing the new toilet I had paid for. I noticed that the toilet they were about to install was used. I pointed it out, they went out on the porch and made a call and went to get a new toilet. So many things just shouldn't have happened in a professional job and certainly not in a job that was so much more expensive than other estimates. Rich, the owner, asked what he could do to make up for it and I said that he could give me a refund of whatever he thought was fair. That was weeks ago, I never heard from him again.

Martinelli did a great job with a difficult installation. I have no outside entrance to my basement and they were able to get to 50 year old boiler out and the new one in along with a new hot water heater without damaging anything. Completed all the work in one day and gave me a good warrenty.

Very responsive with initial contact and providing an estimate of work. Quality job on install and system was up and running in 1 day.

Jack and his guys did great work, were timely, professional, honest and, frankly, a great team to take care of what we had done (fully HVAC and tankless water heater install). I d strongly recommend them to anyone needing this work done.

DO NOT HIRE MARTINELLI PLUMBING AND HEATING IN HAINESPORT NJ. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Installed smaller equipment than contracted, took six weeks and they did not even finish the work, very sporadic and unreliable as to when they would show up to do the work. Prices are high but they had promised a quick completion mid summer. Did not insulate duct-work, did not connect or seal joints, did not secure duct to unit. Reported them to BBB, have contacted them several times for a partial refund... I still have two 18x32 inch holes in my living room because they never brought the vents that go in those holes. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY... UNPROFESSIONAL, EXPENSIVE AND DOES NOT COMPLETE THE WORK NOR STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK!!!!

Martinelli did a fine job. Jack , their lead field manager was very knowledgeable and promised a professional job and delivered on that promise.

Jack is a good guy to deal with. Project ended being more complicated than originally thought, he did it for the same price and completed it in one day. I would def hire this contractor again.

My project started when my water heater needed to be replaced. I reached out through Home Advisor and one of the companies that responded was Martinelli Plumbing. Jack Stern came out to inspect the unit and provided a quote; in the process, he saved my life. While inspecting the water heater, Mr. Stern noticed that part of my furnace that exchanges carbon monoxide had rotted away which would have been a very dangerous situation more likely it would have resulted in death had I turned the furnace on. Additionally, the central air unit had been lost five years prior and hadn't been replaced. Jack Stern assessed and provided a quote to replace the water heater and offered to replace the furnace, water heater, and air conditioning unit. He explained the entire process to me and the length of time it would take to do the work whatever option I chose. Before having the work done, I spoke with one of my co-workers who is a boilermaker and learned that the information Jack had provided was on point and that the offer to replace all three units was a good deal. Needless to say, I opted to have all three units replaced. JJ and George were the technicians that performed the installation. They were clean, professional, and polite. They kept me informed, removed the old units, placed them at the curb, arranged for pick-up, performed and completed the installation of the water heater and air unit, measured and order the parts that were needed to complete the installation of the furnace, and cleaned up after themselves. Before JJ & George pull out of the driveway, the old units had been picked up from the curb. When the new parts arrived at Martinelli Plumbing, I was contacted to arrange a time to have the installation of the furnace completed. I am more than pleased with my experience with Martinelli Plumbing and I will recommend and will use Martinelli Plumbing again for any plumbing issues that may arise in the future. A stand out for me and a very nice touch was when Jack Stern stopped by after the completion of the job to check out the installations, answer any questions that I might have had, to see if I have any concerns, and learn how I felt about the installation process. Iâ  ve used contractors before but none have ever stopped by afterward to check out the job or to see if there were any questions they could answer about the installation or operation of the units, or to let me know if I experience any issues, Martinelli Plumbing stands behind their work. He came and talked to me in English. He was very friendly, clean, and knew the business. He offered me excellent workmanship, the best warranty, and his word. They did an outstanding job, cleaned up everything. I couldn't ask for anything more.

I had a complete HVAC done at my house. They were on time and very professional. Their prices were the best. I had checked 3 other places. They were able to set up install within a few days. The crew cleaned up every day and were pleasant. I will be recommending him to family and friends.

All good from start to finish

The workers worked well with Jack in completing the project of installing a new furnace and air conditioner unit. They left the area clean and removed the old furnace promptly. I will be using Jack and his team for future projects.

Jack and his crew came out and replaced undersized pipes from my Main water line through my Water Softener system. Once he was done, everything looked brand new. Going forward, any plumbing work will be going to Jack and his team.
