Everything went smoothly and professionally from the phone conversation, to fixing the computer itself, and to helping us set it back up so it was in proper working order.

It went well. Everything was reinstalled with no problems and I feel it is running more efficiently. I feel like I have a new computer!

I found them on Angie's List. The guy who came out didn't do exactly what I asked him to do, but the computer is working. I just didn't like him personality wise. He was obnoxious. I wouldn't use him again. He got all this A ratings. He told me not to post the amount he charges. He doesn't like people who tell how much he charges. In terms of trust bubbles, I am not feeling it. His price was probably a little bit higher than it was based on what he originally told me. I just remembered being really annoyed. When we talked about what we needed to have done, he ended up saying no and he asked me to do this. I already had my nephew look at it. I just don't believe that it needed the external work. He completely wiped my computer out and rebuilt it. He wanted a bigger job that was the bottom line. I didn't trust him. I would not use him again. He was so rude.

I've been using Erik to work on my computer since 2009. My computer was dismantled and put on a shelf since June of this year. He came to clean it out and set it up for me. My computer is now good to go! I see him about twice a year. I don't know a lot about computers and he helps me understand more about them and what I need to order it to keep it in good shape. He even went out and bought a mouse for me and will be back to set the mouse up.

It went very smoothly and he went with me to buy a new flat panel monitor and printer. He told me it would most likely take him between 3 & 5 hours. He spent over 6 hours with me, between the new pc and rebuilding my older one. He was very patient and considerate. I feel that he knows what he is doing. I would recommend him to anyone that has a computer problem. I was having a problem with my vcr and my dvd player and he fixed them too!!!

Over all Eric had everything done in a week, including ordering a hard drive and installation. He did get me back the other computers before that as they were already finished.

I have two laptops (an HP Mini and an IBM Thinkpad) that were inoperable due to some internal hardware or operating system problem. In less than 48 hours, Erik assessed the problems and had both machines running like new. Sadly, but through no fault of his, he was unable to recover my files on the hard drive of the Thinkpad. He was honest about that up front, and waited for my permission to wipe it clean before he did anything. He also installed new anti-virus software and provided easy to follow maintenance instructions. He delivered the computers to my door and made sure that the wireless cards in both machines worked properly. He also made a follow-up call a couple days later to ensure that both machines were still running smoothly. The negotiated price was far less than I would have had to pay to replace both machines. Erik is knowledgeable, prompt, honest and earnest. I recommend his services highly. If I ever have any computer problems in the future, I will be taking my business to him.

I had spoken to him several times and was not at all surprised that he knew what he was doing and did what he promised.

He is great and really knows his stuff. He really extends himself to all his customers.

My wife works out of the house and she has both a desktop and a laptop and it was the desktop that was giving problems. I think she went online to Angie's List and got the name of somebody in Philadelphia and it's only about a 25 minute drive to Philadelphia so we contacted him. We took the computer to him, he works out of his house and I think he did have to come to our house to hook it back up and check everything. He doesn't drive so I had to go get him, which again the distance was not a big deal. He was very professional and very good and he was pretty prompt. He knows what he is doing and knows what he is talking about. He is efficient and polite and a nice guy. I am sure he doesn't get too many jobs out of Wilmington or out of town where people have to pick him up and take him back home. But again, I didn't mind and the distance was no big deal. He appreciated that and I think my wife was very satisfied. Since then there has been no issues.

I had a very good experience using Erik to remedy some existing issues with a desktop computer. Erik was professional, responsive, flexible and extremely proficient in diagnosing and fixing a long-term issue with the machine. Erik also made time in his schedule to accompany me to a computer store in order to purchase additional memory and a new video card for the machine. He went the extra mile to ensure that the machine was running better than ever. I would highly recommend Erik to other subscribers who need computer repair assistance / service in the future.

Eric was excellent. He arrived on time, was very efficient, was extremely knowledeable, was dedicated to making my computer run better, was helpful in educating me as to what I needed for my computer to run safely and well. I now know more about what it takes to make a computer work well than what I knew before Eric arrived.

Made a speedy appt, showed up at the agreed upon time and did everything and more he said he would do. Both computers are faster, less cluttered and running with dramatic improvement since Erik worked his magic.

Erik always does an excellent job for any problems that arise as I have used him a number of times. He is very thorough and goes over and above what he is paid for. I recommend him highly!

He is excellent. The job went very well. When you call him he calls back immediately. He is always on time for appointments. The first time I had a computer done with him he came here and picked up the computer and took it back on the bus with him. He rebuilt it for me for a great price. He really is great.

I called Eric on a Monday morning and left a message regarding my failed hard drive. The computer had a blue screen with a blinking cursor and it was unable to turn over to the start screen. He returned my call promptly and suggested I bring the computer to his house to diagnose the problem even though he already had a good idea of what the problem was. At first he was unable to retrieve the data from my hard drive. He was honest and said upfront that he may not be able to get my data back. I left the computer with him and received several phone calls updating the status of his work. Luckily, he was able to retrieve the data, place it onto another hard drive. He also placed new memory free of charge and updated my computer with various programs for virus protection and maintenance. These were all extras that I was not charged for. Overall, he must have spent a lot more time on the computer for what I was charged and I felt the money was well spent.

Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience! When I first emailed Erik, he responded in a very timely manner and scheduled an appointment. This aspect of Erik's professionalism impressed me very much ~ first impressions are lasting impressions. I will definitely use Erik for any future needs and recommend him to my friends and family. He never seemed flustered or upset and met all of my requests with a confident and easy attitude.

This was follow-up work from Erik's original visit, which I reviewed previously. Bottom line: Erik got my desired set-up running perfectly. He went to a fair bit of trouble to do it -- two more home visits and a couple of calls -- which was not really reflected in his very reasonable charge. Highly recommended.

Very positive experience. Prompt, helpful, and professional. Really took the time to get it right and answer all my questions. When some of my questions involved matters where he lacked expertise (running 3 monitors off 2 video cards) he acknowledged that upfront instead of pretending, and he proceeded to give me his best advice there too. Very reasonable fee. I certainly will use him again and recommend him to others.

It was rather seemless, and Erik worked around my schedule. Erik told me that he would keep all my data on his hard drive for a week in the even that anything happened. I would recommend him to others for assistance with data transfer or repair.

After the visit in March 2010, everything seemed to be ok with the computer although it was slow. In late June 2010, the computer would not work at all. I called Erik and he was not available. He had to go out of town and didn't know when he would be returning. We called another technician in who told us the hard drive could not be repaired so we bought a new computer. I then called Erik and asked if we could retrieve our data that he had stored on his hard drive as back up for us. He said he deleted it because he had not heard from us for such a long time. It had been less than 3 months and his suggestion in March was that he come back in 3 months. It was not a full 3 months when I called about our new computer problem. Erik then came to our home on 7/17/2010 and took the old hard drive to his home to see if he could retrieve the data. He advised us by phone that he could not retrieve the data but sent it to an outside company that said it would cost over $1000 to retrieve our data from our failed hard drive. I asked Erik what he had planned to do to correct the situation since we relied on his back up of our data. He advised that he does not have the money to pay for the data retrieval service and does not expect to be able to earn the money.I spoke to him on 8/2/10 requesting a resolution and did not get a return phone call. I called him again on 9/7/10. He said he could not talk because he was with a client and would be going to NY for personal reasons. Again I have not heard from him. We relied on him to maintain our data and he did not do so. I'm trying to resolve this with him but have not been successful thus far.
