Terrific. The piping was in a small space and Jim reconfigured the arrangement of water pipes so it would be easy to change the filter every 6 months. He didn't have to do that. He thought about what he would want and how it would make his life easier if he had to change the filter. That's how you deliver an excellent customer experience. This isn't the first time i've used Copperhead Plumbing and since I'm a homeowner, it probably won't be the last. I highly recommend Copperhead

We had an above ground oil tank connected to a very old furnace with a crack in the heat exchanger. The ductwork for central forced air heating and cooling was already in place so I was confused as to why I was getting such high quotes for what seemed like just installing a new albeit top of the line furnace. Tom came in and gave a similar quote, which while definitely not cheap, was in the range of $500 less than the others I was receiving for the same work on an apples to apples scale. However, what set him apart was the ease in which he explained why the scope of work was much bigger than I had anticipated. Given the competitive bid and the knowledge, and the fact that they used American Standard furnaces which consumer reports had ranked as their number one choice of gas furnace, I felt comfortable moving forward with the entire Copperhead crew. Kathy was a pleasure to deal with and she took care of all the permits and helped arrange my rebate from the NJ Clean Energy Program for installing an energy efficient gas furnace. The scheduling was prompt and the work was done by Joe and his team in a very clean and efficient manner. I will be using Copperhead again for all other plumbing work needed in my house and I highly recommend them for anyone wanting their project done correctly at a competitive value price.

Joe was on time, courteous and knowledgeable, he gave us options for resolving our problems and listed the pros and cons of each. He was observant, noticing safety issues and giving us a heads up re; future repairs.

Tom came out the same day as we called for service (on a Friday). He upgraded our filter to a larger size which will reduce maintenance and did a very neat installation.

Joe was on time and introduced himself upon my opening door. He was respectful, knowledgeable and efficient. He explained the problem to me and suggested options. He also gave me prices before doing anything. He was so respectful of my home and even wore booties!!!! He fixed both problems quickly and spotlessly! He arrived early and waited for me. He inspected the water heater and found the problem. He discussed the fix and possible pitfalls. Gave a quote. Fixed it quickly and checked the rest of the heater. He found the second union to be close to failing and Replaced that too.

When my toilet needed to be replaced, I chose the Kohler product I wanted from Kohler's website and informed Copperhead staff of the model I wanted. They ordered the toilet, and seat, brought them to my home and installed within 90 minutes. This was not a remodel and the toilet needed to fit into the decor of the original 1950's bathroom. The plumbers are prompt, professional, and always have been neat. Copperhead has worked on the boiler and plumbing in my home for years. I trust their work.

Excellent service from Copperhead Plumbing, my first dealing with them as a company. The office team were excellent and arranged for a plumber to come out quickly. When Joe arrived we went through all the details of what had been happening, and what had been repaired in the past. Joe reviewed the issue with the water pressure and then took time to outline what he thought could be the problem. There were two concerns, Joe focused on the lower cost option. He could have easily gone the more expensive route. He replaced a filter in the water softener, and immediately we had excellent pressure. He also made an alteration to the shower valve which meant we have instant hot water. He gave precise instructions on what we had to do before using the shower. Joe was very professional and took great care to clean all the areas he worked. He was polite, friendly, and efficient. I would recommend Copperhead to anyone living in the Hills and surrounding area. I will certainly use them again.

Tom told me they were busy, so expect the following week for a quotation. When the quote came on 8/10, it included an upgrade from the current 40-gal to a 50-gal water heater, and a tankless combination boiler/water heater for almost $10K. On 8/13, I responded back that I don't have $10K for the combination system, so I have to go with the water heater replacement for now. I had 2 questions at the time: 1) why is there a need to buy a larger heater (we are 2 adults + baby), and 2) I read a lot of negative reviews on Amazon.com regarding Bradford White 50-gal heater. On 8/13, Tom responded in general but he didn't remember visiting my house. Busy people forget things and I can accept that too. What started to really worry me is that every time I asked why I should get a 50-gal instead of a 40-gal like my current capacity, Tom pushed for the $10K combination system despite the fact I said I don't have the budget. I felt Tom was more interested in getting a larger project than a simple water heater replacement. It was only after me asking about the capacity for the 3rd time, Tom responded saying that 40-gal and 50-gal burn approximately the same energy (regardless of my consumption requirements). In the end, I felt Tom wants to sell what he wants to sell, and not really addressing what the customers need. Today is 8/24, I still don't have the water test results back. I will go with someone else.

I had a feeling there was a bigger problem and they found that there was. They quoted me a price and were able to complete the extra work that same day. They were professional & knowledgeable. I would recommend them in the future and if ever needed I will contact them again.

All of the work requested was performed in an extremely professional and competent manner. In addition to the requested work, they were able to diagnose several emerging issues and give me realistic alternatives. Joe was far and away the best plumber that I have encountered in 40 years of home ownership. Not only did he perform the work, but he was also able to describe articulately what he had done! Cathy -who runs the office and maybe the company - handles the ordering and scheduling and really keeps things on track. This company is such a pleasure to deal with that I've already had them order the parts for the next project (toilet and faucet replacement)

Great, great service. First, and most impressive - the person answering calls was not only very nice, but she tried to walk me through some basic troubleshooting, to AVOID a call that would have been profitable for them, but a waste for me. Unfortunately in my case, I had already done these, but that is a great sign they won't rip you off. Then, they squeezed me in, with 3 hours notice! Finally, they fixed it quickly, and didn't overcharge, even though I wasn't home, and they could have told my nanny pretty much anything. Highly, highly recommend, and I am very picky, and rarely say that. Thanks guys, you have my info, if you need a reference.

I had previously had a couple of local plumbers in for some of these same repairs - I was charged even though they were not fixed. So I called Copperhead Plumbing based upon Angie's reviews. Kathy who answered the phone was professional and took all of my details. While they were very busy, she was able to fit me in the following week. The kitchen faucet was a disaster. The faucet and sprayer leaked down below and when you turned the water on, it hammered. Tom gave me the pros and cons of rebuilding the faucet versus simply replacing it. I decided to replace it. Tom had a brand new beautiful kitchen faucet right in his truck and the project was fixed in no time. Next was the master bath with an old faucet, circa 1970s that would sometimes work and sometimes wouldn't. Tom rebuilt it and it works like new now. The guest bathroom tub faucet, which has dripped for several years, Tom had to order a part and will return once the part comes in. While results will tell the story, 3 plumbers have attempted to fix this dripping faucet to no avail. For each plumbing situation, I was given the choice and associated cost of rebuilding/repairing versus replacing. Very much appreciated the education and excellent service. I will definitely call Copperhead Plumbing again.

From Kathy's professionalism when taking my initial call, to Jim, the plumber, who quickly resolved the issues and answered all my questions (even one about my kitchen faucet), it was my most pleasant plumbing experience ever. I would gladly recomend Copperhead's services.

I decided to use them because I had called them about another issue last winter- it was emergency work and they came pretty quickly so I remembered them from last year.

We have used Copperhead Plumbing many times, for jobs both large and small. Every time, no matter the size of the job, it is completed expertly, as scheduled and as quoted. They are professional, experienced, friendly and courteous. This starts with Cathy in the office and continues with the people that come to the house. Repaired sump pump system. Installed secondary output as the primary was frozen. Replaced all baseboard heating elements.

Tom is EXCELLENT! He was able to come same day we called to have our shower valve fixed and will be coming back replace all of our sink valves soon.

It went very well! Tom was finished in an hour and acted very professionally. He cleaned up everything meticulously. He also recommended someone to replace the drywall.
