In October 2013 we were loking for a new front door. We went to serveral differentvendors and since Somerville Aluminum had done our kitchen back in 2007, we went to them. The price for the door was $5000 I asked if they could do some other small jobs at the same time and the said sure. For $1250, they put in a new basement window, and repaired the trim around the garage doorsand back door slider. In March 2014 we had the other 3 basement windows done by them. In April we had the garage window replaced. Each time they were prompt. for the windows they came twice to measurem before ording windows. I think they are a bit more than other places, but they are very professional. I'd use them again.

Excellent, Somerville Aluminum spectacular they did a good job from beginning to end. The sales process was very thorough without to much sales pressure. The salesman was extremely knowledgeable and the install was completed in one day. They emphasize they will bring a large crew so the job will get completed. They were don't by 3 o'clock. we had 2 small issues afterwards and they send someone to immediately address those.

I got two estimates for replacement of our roof. The one from Somerville Aluminum was $4,000 less than the one from the "top roofing company in the state". Somerville Aluminum replaced our windows last year ($11,000) so I felt comfortable using them again for another big job. They had to apply for building permits, so once I put down my deposit, it was about 2 weeks before they did the roof. They came on the day promised, and the job lasted exactly as long as they predicted. They worked from dawn to dusk for 2 days. I was impressed with their speed, given that we have a huge roof (it's a ranch house). They cleaned up after themselves very well and did minimal damage to my garden and landscaping, even though it is right up against the house. They gave me a 50 year guarantee on the roof, which is better than what the other company was offering, and I explicitly asked them, "if I have another ice dam problem, I just call you and you will fix it for free?" and they said yes. Since this company has been around for a long time, I feel comfortable knowing that if I do have a problem, they will still be in business to stand by their work. Now that I have had two very positive experiences with Somerville Aluminum, I will probably have them do my kitchen next year.

Very well. They came to measure the space & gave a good quote with some options depending on the glass we used. They returned two weeks later (glass size was unusual so it needed specific order from manufacturer). When a problem arose with the the manufacturer, they dealt with it & ensured the glass was installed properly.

Service was impeccible. Drove me around to pick out granite and fixtures and tile. Project manager very helpful and honest. All workers excellent! I use Somerville Aluminum for all my other projects like all new windows, siding and gutters. Added a full wall window/door/transem. Stunning and work is excellent and they are very neat and clean up every day. _x000D_|Since my house was built in the 50's some unexpected things came up. There was extra cost because it was not in my original plan such as no insulation, leaky pipe, laundry shoot not to code now. You have to always expect that when you remodel. Our kitchen came out so nice, they used it on their website. Ready to call them to update our bathroom!

From the estimate (Bob) to the measuring (Frank) to the install team (Pat, Frank and Paul) everything was awesome. The guys worked in the middle of a snow storm. They kept me up to date with the progress of what they would do each day and what time they would arrive. Installing windows in 9 degree weather has to be one of the last jobs I would ever want to do but the crew was pleasant, professional and great to have in and around my home for the 3 days. A piece of siding was damaged during the install, they fixed it and even moved siding from the side of the house so it would math. Jobs are going to have issues - its how you deal with issues that really "makes" a company. Somerville Aluminum is a top shelf company from start to finish. Its a pleasure to work with them!

They were excellent. They knew what they were doing and did the job quickly. They were very professional and cleaned up well after themselves. I was very happy with the results and I would recommend them. They were a little costly.

Great! They showed up on time for the sales, measuring and installment appointments. I was provided an estimate for the job, and they were able to work with us on some of the elements to manage down the costs without sacrificing quality. The job was projected to take two days. Because of a pending snow storm, they did the outside doors on Day 1, and completed the installations as planned. The contractors were polite, respectful, professional and even cleaned up perfectly when they left. Day 2 (a Friday) brought a snowstorm, so the trucks weren't able to come out. Happily, the folks who do the planning and coordinating were able to work it so that the job could be finished on the next day (Saturday). The team came back and shoveled snow off the lawn to create a workspace. They laid down tarps to keep our carpets clean while they went in and out. They installed the four sets of sliding doors professionally and well. When they were done, they cleaned up inside and out. On both days, they removed the old doors and disposed of them for us. On both days, the Project Manager came by to check in and see how things were progressing. We paid 50% on the first day, and the balance on the second. He provided his card in case I had any concerns as the project progressed. There were no surprises - no extra costs, and no problems they couldn't solve, which is a delight, given our house is over 100 years old! The last time we had doors put on, the work was contracted through Home Depot and it was a nightmare - the wrong doors twice before we finally got the right ones, and such poor workmanship on the installation. This experience with Somerville Aluminum was smooth as silk. The right doors, the right installation, the agreed upon price. I would highly recommend Somerville Aluminum.

All phone calls were answered promptly. Crew arrived at stated time - roof tear off and replacement finished in one day. Gutters on the 2nd day. Except for some squashed hostas and flowers and a few overlooked nails and small pieces of debris I found no problems. I would use this company again.

The Provia door that Somerville Aluminum installed was less than what other door companies quoted us. They came on time and were professional in every way.

We bought 4 Great Lakes Uniframe Windows from Somerville Aluminum. They are decent windows but nothing special. We ultimately thought the price we paid was too high compared to other, similar quality windows. The salesman seemed to have this specific window in mind and we didn't fully explore all of our options and we kind of rushed into it. I suppose we're partly to blame because we didn't do or own due diligence but the salesman made us feel rushed. We also had them come out for a siding estimate that came in $10000 more than any competitor with similar work being done.

They did a great job and everyone in our neighborhood uses them.

The entire process from initial consultation/estimate (Evan), measurement of windows (Frank), and installation (Pat and Paul) was seamless. We could not have asked for better service ? timely, thorough, professional and considerate. All took time to answer our questions, and explain the window replacement process in detail. Pat, the installer even helped guide our frightened cat to a safe place (basement) prior to the install. We are enjoying our new windows ? the pet paw screens are purr-fect, kitty approved! We highly recommend Somerville Aluminum to friends and neighbors who are considering replacing their windows.

Sommerville Aluminum completely renovated and updated both restrooms. They got the work done on time. They replaced all of the fixtures, some plumbing, tiling, and the walls as well. They also replaced the siding on our home in 1997.

I can't say enough good things about how the people at Somerville Aluminum handled my kitchen remodel project. I heard a lot of horror stories and could not find one person that remodeled their kitchen that was willing to recommend their contractor. We were promised by Ted, the designer, when we first met that once our job was scheduled, they would provide a calendar of what would happen each day of our project from inception through completion and that things would happen as shown. He was right! Our project went like clockwork and some things actually were installed a day or two before they were originally scheduled. Ted did a wonderful job assisting us with the design and the selections. The nice thing is that you are able to select the cabinets, counters, backsplash, flooring, sink and faucet right in their showroom. This saves running around to different places and also allows you to see it all together as you select it. Tommy, the project manager worked with us and was extremely accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Our installer, Thomas was equally as nice and did really fantastic work. Our house was left clean every night and they took great care to protect the flooring, etc. in the other parts of our house There were no real problems encountered and any issues that came up were addressed and resolved right away. There were no additional costs, except the ones that I requested (outlets added that were not originally included when we started the job) they did not charge us extra for anything. I am absolutely thrilled with my kitchen. Somerville Aluminum provided me with the kitchen of my dreams and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a remodel!!

They did all the measurements and they went through all the options that we were thinking about. They discussed what they wanted to do on the rough estimate, then they're going to get back to us with more details on the design plan that's why were waiting for them until now.

Impressive,. Out of three estimates, this was the only company that provided a full estimate at time of visit. Visit was about 1 1/2 hours. Said the work could be done within 5 days. The other companies took over a week to provide an estimate. They started and finished within the 5 days, very professional and thorough work. Not the cheapest in price but the best in service and quality.

They were very prompt, they were very good at coming out when I called for the estimate they showed up quickly. They are professional. Overall, the company is ran very well.

They responded quickly to the request for an estimate and made a good price so we went ahead with the project. They turned up when the said they would and the work was completed quickly and professionally. All the old gutters were removed and the are was left clean and tidy when the finished. Everything went smoothly and we are happy with the result.

My experience with Somerville Aluminum went very well. I was pleased with the workmanship and the individuals who did the installation. Their responsiveness was excellent.

They have done work for us in the past. They have done all the soffit and the gutters. They did a fantastic job with that. The price was good and everything was excellent. That was the reason we had asked them to come and look at the bathrooms. But we weren’t happy with their prices on the bathroom because they were high. Their quote amount was about $60000 while the other company charged us only $30000 to do the job.

Fantastic. They were able to fit me in within a week of my initial call. They finished the work in the time frame provided and for the estimate provided.
