Description of Work: I needed a plumber for heating problem in winter. Called and made arrangements for him to come to the house on Saturday morning. No heat at the time and it was snowing.He called and delayed the appointment and then later called and said he just didn't feel up to it. Didn't offer to call another plumber or recommend anyone else - just left me high and dry. I had to go online and find a 4 hour emergency plumber and pay extra. They came within the hour. I had used him in the past (years prior) without any issue.

Description of Work: Falcon replaced my 1923 coal burning furnace with a new gas boiler. Project included asbestos abatement and in-basement oil tank removal. Bill Falcon took the time up front to provide a detailed quote and thoroughly explained all the options, allowing me to make educated decisions. All the crews were professional and respectful. I was dreading the project, even delayed it for a few years - but Falcon's management was seamless.

His work crew were also very professional, neat, and top quality work. I couldn't ask for more and highly recommend him to others seeking an oil to gas conversion.  + -1 moreMy central A/C system went out in the middle of the summer, temperatures in the high 90s. I wanted it replaced with a new energy efficient setup. I had other quotes from other companies, but no other company could match his estimate or even wanted to do it, or was as fast in getting back to me as he was. Bill and his employees were very responsive, punctual and professional. There was a minor issue after the installation and his crew came back promptly as the first thing in the morning the next day and fixed it. Bill even offered to pay for dinner at a nice restaurant to make it up for this minor inconvenience!! I didn't take his offer but it was definitely appreciated. Bill installed extra parts, like a new thermostat and a condensate pump, that weren't even mentioned in his initial proposal but that he thought were needed, and didn't charge extra for them. He also made the extra effort to put me into a payment plan I could afford. What more could I ask for? Very happy with the work and the customer service. Bill cares about what he does. Will definitively hire again.
Description of Work: To replace the air handler/condensing units of my central A/C system with a new 16-SEER energy efficient setup (eligible for a federal tax rebate), while fitting the air handler unit through a tight attic entrance in one of the closets. Most other companies didn't want to do it.

 + 0 moreCompany was recommended by local residents. Bill was professional, providing sound advice regarding installation options. He recommended two boilers, both manufactured by the same company, suggesting there was no need to buy a big name when both boilers were the same mechanically. We chose the smaller name and a longer extended warranty. He always showed up on-time, as scheduled. The installation went well: all work was completed in a timely manner. My home was kept clean throughout the process, with all garbage being taken by the crew at the end of the installation. My only complaint involves the fact that Bill and I disagreed about the timing of the final payment: I hoped to collect documents (e.g. completed town inspections) prior to my final payment to him. (However, this disagreement is not unusual between client and contractor.) I would easily hire the company again.
Description of Work: Removed old oil boiler and installed a new gas boiler by installing gas pipes across basement. Arranged for all permits. Recommended contractor and coordinated work for the removal of old oil tank buried beneath driveway.

 + -1 moreRepair was made to correct a steam leak but pipes now bang. Work performed by a subcontractor (3-man team) using some of our tools. Cost was $395 -- excessive for work done. We asked plumber do the work for over 3-weeks after a favorable water heater installation. Will not use this plumber for future plumbing needs.
Description of Work: Simple steam leak repair. Cut in new pipe and soldered including a new elbow. Work was performed in under an hour.
