Miguel was great. He was right on time. He patiently explained what needed to be done, the pricing and how rhe job will be performed. Gave me very useful tips, so this would not happen in the future. And all of this for much less than Hutchison's quote. Highly recommended!!!

The work they did was fine, but to say you’re a 24/7 emergency plumbing company is a bit misleading. Did they come out when I called after 8pm? Yes, but not without some moaning and groaning. Did they fix this issue that night? Not really. My upstairs toilet was leaking into my powder room. The plumber turned off water in our upstairs bathroom and used beeswax on the pipe that was leaking into my powder room. Was told it was too late to start the job, but would “hopefully” be back tomorrow as he needed to discuss with his boss. The next day I get a phone call from the plumber saying that his boss won’t let him off the job he’s currently on and that he’d be back to repair my leaky pipe 2 days later. This meant I had no access to my upstairs bathroom which was the only shower in the house. Meanwhile the leaky pipe started leaking again. Nothing too horrible, but I still had to keep a bucket under the spot for 2 days. When the work was finally done I was satisfied, but could have done without all the complaining. Part of me felt like I called a neighbor to do me a favor rather then call a professional. I also felt a bit mislead and annoyed for having to wait 2 days for repair. Had I known this I would have called another plumber and probably gotten the job done a bit cheaper – maybe even faster. Live and learn. In fairness I should add that the company did give me $100 off for having to wait 2 days.

It went very well and I highly recommend them. Jeremy was excellent and they were a wonderful company to do business with.

It went fine. It was a little bit more. The plumbing we had was so old so it took longer than anticipated. I think the guy wasn't too professional. I don't think he wore shoe cover when he came into my house.

Be aware of set up charges before you higher them.

They had to come back 4 times until they discovered that the leak was not coming from the plumbing, but from the grout in the shower and on the floor next to the tub. This was after they replaced a couple of things on two separate visits to the cost of about $500. Add to that the $375 that I paid on the final visit when all I did was pay for the labor and it cost me close to $900 to find out that now I need to have a tile guy come in and regrout.

We just had a new refrigerator delivered on a Saturday, but we ended up having to call a plumber to deal with the water line problems (unfortunately, the refrigerator delivery crew could not deal with the problem due to potential liability/issues with their insurance company). I had a nice new refrigerator, but no capacity to make ice, and there was water dripping in the cabinet under the sink and on the floor - I was not a happy camper at this point. It was urgent to deal with the problem ASAP, and it would not (or I would not...) wait until Monday. I called a few plumbers, but Great Plumbers was the first to return my call. The receptionist was very professional and let me know the approximate timeframe that I would be able to expect him to arrive at our home. Keith was the lone plumber on call that day, and was on another job when I called. Keith arrived and explained a very clear outline of troubleshooting techniques that he would use to investigate the issue, as well as any potential problems that could occur. He was also very forthcoming regard the cost. He kept us informed along various stages, was very polite, and left the work area clean. Above all, he was very friendly and professional. We'll definitely call them for any of our future plumbing needs.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They scheduled at my convenience, which was helpful because of my limited availability, arrived on time, listened to my concerns, discussed the project in advance, had the parts available and got right to work. We had two visits from Great Plumbers. The first one in February 2015 was fantastic. We found them through Angie's List after we experienced a severe sewer clog and overflow. Their man Miguel conducted a top-notch job unclogging and checking out the reason & location of the break. He explained everything in great detail over the phone while I was at work. We later learned that Miguel had left the company. But unbeknownst to us at the time, based on the first visit, we decided to call them back for another visit in April to do a video inspection of the sewer pipe, so that we could decide what to do while filing an insurance claim. The crew that showed up was competent but we also learned that Miguel had left the company. The inspection was thorough as well, and we had no problems, although I didn't understand why it took the 2-man crew more than 4 hours to complete the job. By then, I had also purchased a Big Deal coupon from Angie's in order to use them for future work. When we had trouble getting a copy of the video of the sewer pipe for months, we decided to hold-off on using the Big Deal coupon. We called at least three times to obtain the video, and each time it was promised "in a few days." We gave up eventually and moved on to another plumber to perform the actual repair after another long search. We never got the actual video of our originally broken sewer line even though we paid for it. We just didn't want to call them again. The Big Deal coupon expired and unfortunately it had gone past the Angie's List money-back period for the price of the coupon, too, meaning we ended up with a loss of $100.00. Angie's List offered to mediate. But I declined because I wanted to move on since the other plumber had fixed the pipe. I accept full responsibility for losing the value of the coupon. Live and learn. Overall, they are nice people to talk to on the phone. Their top plumber Miguel left but the other plumbers seemed knowledgeable enough. Their first job for us was clearly an "A". Their second job was barely a "C". We are not difficult customers to work with at all, so I gave them an overall "B", and wish them well in the future.

I thought the price was exorbitant for the services rendered. I was charged $280 for a crew of 2 men to retrieve a softball from the cleanout pipe. It took them approximately 15-20 minutes because they were figuring out which tools to use to extract the ball from the pipe. No snaking was done; no equipment was needed. I was told by a number of people that $280 was much too high to pay for such services and that I was overcharged. Lesson learned. On a positive note, I will say that Provider did come out within hours of my phone call for assistance.

He replaced a gasket in one toilet. It went fine. He did give me estimates for other work, but they seemed really high.

Initially not so well. Repairman was unable to resolve problem. To my surprise, he returned the next day with a possible solution which worked perfectly.

I've worked with great plumbers several times since moving to our new home. The first was before we moved in -- we were going to replace the existing washer and dryer with new appliances and a gas dryer. great Plumbers met me at the home prior to closing to review how they would need to run the line, which was complicated by the distance of the laundry from an available gas line. They arrived promptly for both the quote and the service call. While doing the work they offered advice and answers to questions I had about other items in the home free of charge. This included looking at the gas fireplace, shower door, powder room sink and toilet, and garbage disposals in kitchen. There was no charge for this advice. The job was done professionally with thorough clean up. The second visit was to remove the garbage disposals in the kitchen. They had warned me about problems with this setup, the disposals were in a double sink that had only one faucet and both disposals,were powered by a single switch. This prevented water from flowing through both disposals when they were running. After weeks of problems we called great plumbers to remove them. Again, the job was scheduled quickly and work done well. They even didn't mind my four year old watching and asking questions -- they were great with our kids, Finally I ran into challenges taking out a toilet that they warned me was nearly child sized in our powder room. I couldn't get the wax ring to seal correctly. Rick from great plumbers came again and noted the original toilet wasn't installed correctly which was causing many of the problems we had. Essentially the floor was very high causing a big drop between the toilet and gasket -- there wasn't a good seal and sewer gasses were escaping into the powder room. He fixed the problem and again did so quickly, cleaned up thoroughly and entertained my kids while he did it. You can't go,wrong with Great Plumbers -- highly recommended,

We are overall happy with the work that was done -- good prices, nice people, and ultimately all the work was done to our satisfaction. But there were a few communication SNAFU's along the way that I ought to mention. We happened to call to schedule our work to be done on a day when their office had lost power, and the computers were out. Understandable, of course, but several weeks went by without a call back. After waiting a bit, we called them again and scheduled the work. The night before, we got a follow-up call from the plumber who had done the estimate, asking us if we were still interested in getting the work done. He was surprised to find out that we were expecting him the following morning. He was on time the next morning. We had purchased some dual-flush systems from Home Depot and asked him to install them on the new toilet we were getting, and an old one in the other bathroom. He said he would try. (Ultimately it turns out they didn't fit our toilets.) The work was taking longer than expected, and when we asked why, we found out that it was because he was installing the dual-flush system on the toilet that was supposed to go into the trash. It turns out he had misread the work order (and misunderstood several conversations that morning) and hadn't even brought a toilet from the supply house. There was also an issue later with the new shower handle being installed improperly. The reason I'm still giving overall good marks for Great Plumbers is: mistakes happen. Here's how they dealt with it. For the toilet issue, he apologized for the mistake. He rushed to the supply house to get the toilet before it closed, and offered to stay late to install it. When we realized the shower wasn't quite right and called to have it fixed, the plumber came right back out. They also gave a discount coupon. Everyone at the company was professional, pleasant and clearly interested in doing it right, and in the end, they did. I still wish the work had been done right the first time, and because of that I'm not sure I would use this company again. (I suspect the plumber they sent was relatively new to the company, and it's not like you can hold a grudge about that.) But as I said, mistakes do happen, and at the very least, handling these things in the proper way shows a lot about the kind of operation they have, and we did appreciate their follow-through. Update: on 10/20, we had to have the company send someone out to fix a small leak and some caulking related to one of the previous repairs. Again, I wish it was done right the first time, but the company sent someone out right away to fix the problem at no charge, and did a full inspection of all other work completed by the company's first plumber.

It went very well. He came on time. He came the same day or within two days. He did a perfect work. He found all of the things that I authorized to do. The faucet and the shower works fine now. He was very professional, didn't try to upsell me something else, understood exactly what I asked for. He offered a very good price.

He was on time and courteous. Again very professional.

Twice as expensive as other quotes.

I have no complaints about service. The plumber seemed to know what he was doing and went about his duties in a professional manner. He had a reasonably priced, new Moen faucet with spray handle on his truck and the outside faucet is also nice and new. No more leaky faucets. I felt I got a good deal with this offer from Angie's List and Great Plumbers.

I had a seam under my outside faucet that was leaking. I could see it. The first quote the plumber game me was about $350. I told him I didn't want him to do it and planned to get another price. He went out to his truck for about 15 minute and came back and said he could do it for $250. I should have sent him away. i told him to fix it. When I turned the outside water back on it was pouring between the walls under the faucet he had just fixed. He opened the ceiling and told me that I large collar had broken. He called a helper and hey fixed it. Total bill $ 648. I feel that the inside pipe behind the faucet broke as a result of something he had done. I was very upset. Did not figure a leak at a seam in the pipe (about 2" under faucet) would oat me that much!

Mike was awesome. He was on time twice! The first time, I was not ready for his arrival and he came back for me about an hour later. He informed me of all the steps he was doing prior to doing them...made suggestions and was overall just awesome. If and when the time comes for additional services, I will contact them without hesitation.

They were very good, no problems, and they got back to me very quickly.

They were very responsive, called me back at 9pm. Told me they were booked for the night, but would have someone call me in the am to schedule. They did come out next morning, and cleared the problem. My only issue with them is the cost - they would not give a price over the phone, but then when they came out, told me it was $305 plus tax flat fee for drain cleaning. Had I known that, I would have used another provider like Action Plumbing who comes in at under $200 for the same services. Because my daughter was home alone, and could not reach me when the guy was there, she told him to go ahead. If I had been home I would not have allowed work to proceed. I would not recommend them for drain cleaning only because of the cost - work was fine, but they were responsive and on time so I might use them for other plumbing problems.

Next day service the day before Thanksgiving. Pleasant, efficient, professional. Would absolutely use again.

Very good. Keith is a gentleman. Explained everything to me and really helped us make the right decisions. He had to bleed all the water out of the pipes in order to weld the new valve on. He explained everything he had to do. He really knew his stuff. He was very patient answering all my questions. Everything works great. Will use again in future if I have plumbing needs. Very trustworthy
