Great Plumbers

Great plumbers did a good job quality wise. However the cost of the service ended up being 30- 50% more than their estimate range provided. We have been long-term customers and this is the second time in a row that this happened. Be aware of hard upselling services pushed on you, when you are in a bind without services.

I never heard back from them. I never was sent the estimate. Completely left me hanging. I don't have running water in my home, and they never even called me back.

They did an awesome job. Even schooled me on how to fix the repair myself in the future.

Had new countertops and sink tile installed, but now the drain didn’t match up to the old plumbing, put the request in on the app and great plumbers responded first s d were able to get it fixed and done the next day. Sailor was great to work with and would Highly recommend Great Plumbers

The tech came when He said he would. He was young, but very qualified. He had to leave to pickup a new disposal, but came back quickly. He very carefully and quickly replaced it. He cleaned up very well. The price was fair and nothing leaked. I will call Great Plumbers, the next time I need a Plumber.

overall work was good. showed up promptly. and accomplished work in timely manner. A couple things didn't seem top notch. 1) in installing the outside hose bib ,which came with a threaded end pipe connection,- the plumber soldered the supply to the inside of threaded hose bib pipe connection instead of installing a screwed fitting- now in order to replace bib (which has since failed -not his fault) i have to unsolder instead of unscrew. 2) sink came with 1-14" fitting as was previous fitting into drain line. Instead of putting a 1-1/4" trap on, he cut of the 1-1/4" fitting at drain line, adapted up to 1-1/2" line with a rubber sleeve, then back down to 1-1/4" at sink drain. 3) also left a few solder splatters on tile. overall, although the work needed was accomplished timely, there seemed to be several issues that didn't seem be the best work or choice.

Extremely satisfied. Rapid response and repairs done in a thorough and professional manner. Would definitely recommend. We have already used them again on another project.

From beginning to end, this was probably our best plumber experience. Called this morning had a tech at my home within 2 hours. Andy was very efficient, knowledgeable and pleasant. He completed the job with excellent results. Will definitely be using Great Plumbers again!!!

I was not pleased with hiring Great Plumbers as it took THREE techs across THREE different days for what seemed like a fairly straightforward repair (our water heater flashes a code via LED light, which corresponds to the issue). The first tech assigned to the job on Friday afternoon replaced the wrong part. In order to make good, they sent out a second tech (on a Saturday night). He didn't have any parts for our heater in his truck, so all he did was unplug/plugin the heater wasting both our evenings, I'm sure. He assured me someone would call me on Monday to discuss. He specifically asked for my schedule and I told him 12:30pm would be great. When 4:30pm rolled around with no call, I reached out. Great Plumbers had no record that someone was supposed to call me. In another effort to make good, they sent out the third tech right away Monday night - John Mitchell. John took the time to speak with me to understand the issue, then took water temps at our problematic faucets, and got to work on our water heater. In less than 2 hours, it was fixed. He replaced the Thermowell and Pilot Assembly. They told us they would only charge us for parts, but between the first visit (replacing the wrong part) and the last visit (replacing the 2 correct parts), we still paid $451 after tax. If you decide to hire Great Plumbers, save yourself the time and hassle - just ask for John.

Extremely satisfied! We were told that someone would come out between 8am and 10am, and I got a call at 7:55am and was told that the plumber would be here in 10 minutes. I believe his name was Rick (I can't remember but I wish I knew for sure) and he was courteous, professional and had a great sense of humor. He was honest and I trusted his opinion and I was very satisfied. He went out, got the equipment, installed the new toilet and the entire visit was just a bit over 2 hours, which I felt was great. I highly recommend Great Plumbers! We needed to find a plumber as our usual guy was not responsive to our phone call so we found them here, on Angie's List. A great job by a super guy from a great company!

We called in the morning and someone was out that afternoon. Miguel came out and checked and cleaned the pipe from the street as well as the pipe from the house. He explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. The problem is resolved. It was lint in the pipe closest to the washer, nothing at the street. Miguel was prompt, courteous and extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. He was a pleasure to do business with. From the first phone call to Great Plumbers, to the wave goodbye from Miguel, we felt we were in excellent hands. We highly recommend Great Plumbers. We will be calling them again for other work we need done.

Great job! Very up-to-date company using electronic payments, email, cell in text-especially great or the deaf. Very nice plumber, Keith, who's knowledgeable. Neatly done. Was hard to find plumber I am happy with but Great Plumbers gets it ! Will get them again in future.

It was an emergency situation I was smelling a terrible odor I called and asked if someone could come out immediately same day and replace my toilet. It was mid-afternoon when I called I was told no one was available but they would see what they could do and get back to me within an hour or so. The representative Jason did get back to me to advise me someone would be coming to my home today. They sent someone as promised. The repair person Rick was great he installed a new toilet and did a wonderful job. Great Plumbers are great plumbers!

Great Plumbers sent this young fellow over. He was well trained and did a great job. The price was right and I am very satisfied.

The gentleman who came out was great. He quickly found the leak and fixed it and then checked to make sure there were no other issues. He was very professional. I had a great experience from beginning to end.

They did an alright job. I wanted another one put in but they didn't want to give me a brake on having a second one put in but that's alright.

Fine. I called numerous companies from Angie's List on a Saturday morning in January 2017 and this was the ONLY company that could send a tech on the same day, but also suggested the possibility that the unit might be repairable (before the tech arrived, I determined that replacement was necessary) and that, if replacement was done, he had a unit on his truck. John called me when he was on his way and, despite that it was snowing, he arrived promptly. John wrote up a price quote and, although it was almost ~$200 more than a company that would come to my house on the following day, I just wanted it done ASAP. John was at my house for over 3 hours (again, having to deal with snow, each time that he was outside) and he efficiently and professionally did the work. Shortly after the installation, I had some concerns about the water in my 2nd floor shower not heating up as much as I liked. John came back out and determined that there was no problem with the unit and explained that I needed to turn the shower dial to the highest setting, then allow time for the hot water to reach the 2nd floor, then turn the setting down to my desired temperature. Then, in late December 2017, when I turned on the water to my shower, in order to get it to my desired heat level, it was almost at the very top setting (extremely different from normal, which was the prior day). Please note that the air temperature was in the teens and has been below freezing for several days (and predicted for the next week). I immediately called Great Plumbers and a visit was scheduled for 2:00-4:00 p.m. A tech (Manuel) called at 3:00 and he was here at 3:30. He determined that there was no problem with water temperature nor with the heater itself. He did make an adjustment in my shower knob (that had been pre-set to "non-scald") to facilitate my hot shower preference and explained in detail that the current problem was the result of very low ground temperatures for several days, with the previous night's air temperature being the lowest yet. That he took the time to explain was very reassuring and I highly recommend Great Plumbers.
