Our central air-conditioning unit is about 15 years old and had not been serviced or inspected in over 5 years, so it was time to get it looked at. Erik responded promptly to our request, chose a date and time that worked for us and showed up on time and ready to go. He was clean, neat and very professional, as was his service truck and assistant. He went through my entire AC Unit both inside and out, performed all the checks and inspections as required, then thoroughly checked out the pressure and temperature of the air from the registers in the house. He did not try to sell me anything I did not need. He told me the unit was working great, but he did notice some corrosion of the outside unit which is typical of a unit of that age in the sea-salt enironment we live in. He gave me some tips on how to extend its life and minimize the progress of the corrosion, but said it may need to be replaced within a few years. When that time comes, I would definitely call Chase to bid on the work.

For those that don't want to read the entire story below; yes I highly recommend this company. No hesitation at all. I've been self-employed for over 35 years and know how to sort out the quality vendors from the profiteers. Chase Heating & Cooling is a quality operation to be trusted. I woke up this morning and discovered that the heat had not kicked on overnight. Having some technical abilities I checked things out and discovered the blower motor was not coming up to speed. I did some searching for service companies that I had heard about; one that I see their truck and another that I hear advertise on the radio. I left messages for them and got calls back. I described the issue and was told there was a service call fee, which I expected. They both also said they were flat rate service providers meaning that they would come out, figure out what needed to be done and quote the work not based on actual time & materials but a flat fee of what they think the job is worth. Having been almost burned by a flat rate shop in the past I was concerned that I would be over charged. I did some research on those companies and it was no surprise that the reviews were not good. I continued my search online and found Chase Heating & Cooling. I had never heard of them before. I called the number on the web site and the owner answered. This was before 7:30AM. He said that he could be onsite by 10AM. He showed up at 9:15 with his helper son in a large, late model, well kept service truck. They isolated the problem within a few minutes - showed me the part and explained the situation. They headed out their parts supplier and returned shortly after. An hour and a half from when they first walked in the door and $161 later the heat is working again. Thoroughly professional, honest, fair on the labor rate and fair on the amount of time -- no time padding here. Parts were reasonable as well. They were also very polite and left the work area neat. This company is all about honesty and integrity. Father is teaching his son the business and the importance of customer service, professionalism and customer longevity. The son, I would guess to be in his early 20s, totally gets it.

Not only was Eric responsive, but he was professional and very knowledgeable. He was on time, he was kind, and he explained how my system operated to me as he troubleshot it. He immediately obtained the replacement part and my system was up and running in no time at all. While he was here he even noticed another problem with the system and offered me several solutions for that as well. I didn't even know the problem existed but am immensely thankful to have been informed of it. I would recommend Chase highly and without reservation. Great service.

In the middle of this harsh winter I lost my 16 year old furnace it was completely gone . Chase came in on Monday in the middle of 14" snow storm and evaluated the situation. By Monday afternoon I had committed to the quote . Tuesday Morning in sub freezing temps he and his two workers arrived . They stayed until 6:30 PM in order to get me heat. They came back on Wednesday to check out everything and to finish of some minor nuts and bolts . In addition to his great service he directed me to an $800.00 energy credit as well as walking me through the warranty registration process. Can't say enough about Erik and his crew .would not hesitate to recommend him .
