Jason did a great job.

Over the phone Jason gave me some ideas to try, in order to save the service visit fee. These didn't work, so he came to do the work within a couple days. He was quick, neat, professional, personable.

We found Jason through Angie's List because of the glowing reports he had received. Now we understand why. He immediately responded to our request for an estimate which we found to be very reasonable ($3700). He showed up on time. He responded to all our phone calls. His crew was polite, efficient and neat. He assured us that we would be pleased with his work and he was right. We will recommend him to our friends and will be using him in our next project.

I was very happy with the result. Jason came to the site when scheduled and on time, got the job done promptly, and cleaned up. The job was a little more difficult than expected, but Durgin honored the estimate. Jason explained what his cost for materials would be, and how much labor would be involved. Note that this was not a big job, but Durgin was the only one of several electricians that estimated this job at a reasonable price. The next lowest estimate was more than twice Durgin's price. The highest estimate was more than $2000.

Jason did an excellent job, fixed a problem that others could not, and his prices were reasonable. He also seems to be a very nice person. We are scheduled to have him come do much more electrical work in our home.

My A/C contractor had recommended an electrician that they work with. I had their electrician out to give me an estimate and didn't feel confident in his ability to complete the work in a timely manner. I ended up receiving his estimate over a week later, after Durgin had already completed the work. Durgin performed this work for time and materials and warned me in the middle of the project that it would take him longer than he thought because he had to undo some of the work the A/C techs had done to do the job correctly. Even with the additional time, Durgin came in almost $1000 less than the electrician recommended by the A/C company. His work is neat, he explains everything he's doing and when he leaves, I always feel like I've gotten an excellent value for my money.

Jason and his crew showed up exactly when they said they would and performed their work in a remarkable efficient manner. They work quickly and competently and I am 100% satisfied with the value I received. I would recommend these guys to anyone and they are definitely the first people I'm going to call in the future when I need electrical work done. I'd also point out that their estimate was $2400 less than the other estimate I got for the same work.
