Description of Work: I paid my deposit to have siding on my house. They kept my deposit for months. Then suddenly they said they did not want the job and returned my deposit. Despite many phone calls the owner of the company would not even talk to me. They were the only company I could get everlast siding from and they refused to talk to me. I have no idea why they pulled out of the job and left me hanging. I am very angry that I cannot have everlast siding put on my house. I think very poorly of a company that would hold your deposit for months and then decide they don't want the job.

Description of Work: Triple glazed windows for entire house.

Description of Work: I hired this contractor for siding. they were the most expensive put i couldn't find any bad ratings anywhere and they came with a warranty, which I still haven't received yet from them ( I was told I have it within 3 days after completion)it is now almost Oct. | They were suppose to come and start with a crew of 3 to 4 people ,one man showed up his day started about 10:30 or 11 am and ended around 3 or 4. Thats when he showed up . After two weeks of this nonsense I called his boss and he said he was unaware of this problem and he would handle it. | I was told the house would be done in 7 to 10 days. Now we are going into the third week and they fired the first guy. They sent another crew of 4 men and they started where the other guy left off. Something wasn't feeling right about the installation so I called a contractor(friend) to come out and tell me if the job was being done correctly . Boy did I get a three hour education on how to correctly side a house. | Needless to say I called the owner and told him to cease all work on the house till he came out and inspected it. When he came he asked what my concerns were( my contractor friend was there listening to us) When i voiced my issues the owner was trying to make all these excuses saying it was done correctly. My friend step up and started talking to him when the owner realized that he couldn't pull a fast one he had the crew come back and strip the house and start over from scratch . | Now we are going into 4 week, my backyard is a mess I couldn't entertain out there with all of there equipment etc. ,my driveway was full of all there stock...I could go on..not enough time. Anyway by the fifth week they finally finished, the owner came out and we did a punch list and they fixed all the incidentals.I paid him and asked for some money off for all of my troubles and he refused, I had to shame him into it and it wasn't much. | Now the nightmare isn't over yet , about a month later, beginning of Sept. we came home and two sheets of siding came off up in a corner area. I called and they came out a week later to fix it and when the man climbed the ladder to replace the siding he dropped his hammer and it fell and damaged the new windowsill so now that had to be fixed to. The siding was never nailed into place thats why it came down. It kind of makes you wonder what else is going to come loose??

Description of Work: The only issue was that communication was lacking. Two palletes of shingles were delivered before I was notified or even selected the date for the work. I called ASAP and the issue was resolved and the project begun the next day. The job was done well, the crew was punctual and professional. However there was never a call back to see if we were pleased or had any concerns and that was disappointing.
