Went fine, except for the realization that a faucet I had bought could not operate properly on my tiny sink. Extreme Makeover bought another at the local hardware store and installed it.

All the work mentioned above went very well. Highly professional. Lot of other repair and maintenance work were also got them done by them. Very Neat and clean work. I would highly recommend John to others. Especially with the replacing of the old threshold- their job is amazing. Did it very patiently and very clean work. He is very prompt in responding to calls. John represents his business in a very professional way. His schedule is packed so I was extremely grateful that he could fit our repairs into a 3 day job. He worked extremely fast and the quality/end product was exceptional! He consults with you along the way while on the job site. Due to having a young family I couldn't be there for a majority of the job hours so he would communicate via text and phone calls to keep me updated on the progress. What I respected the most was that we had a unique timeline around New England's harshest of weather and he even returned after the repairs had been done on a rare spring-like day to touch up the paint job for a beautifully finished look. You cannot control the weather so my husband and I appreciated that he was there the moment he and his crew could be, again, in between other projects. John Leahy is the man. Throughout the whole process, John was extremely professional. He worked very hard and gave me a couple of ideas that made the project look even better. He and his partner cleaned up everyday, and kept me informed on what was going on through the whole process. I was very pleased to come home from work everyday to more progress being made on our project. I also found his price to be very reasonable. The next time my wife and I have a project to do at home, my first phone call will be to John Leahy.

John did work for me before. We are just at the estimating stages. He does good work so I called him again.

Very happy with quality of work. Was on budget. What I like is that he checks in on his older work to make sure things are still working well when he comes in for his next project and fixes any small issues that may have arisen over the years. We do have to book projects with John months in advance since he does get booked solid in the summer.

The job went great. My wife and I are very happy with John's work. John and his team were professional, punctual, and kept me informed during the whole process. He answered all questions to my satisfaction and communicated with me throughout the project to see if I had any concerns. I have received several compliments on the finished product.

We had used John and Mark for both our bathroom remodeling previously and once we called John, he was very responsive and reasonable with the quote and dates. They changed 15 regular, one basement and one bay window in our home in 13 days. Once they started they realized that there was double siding in our home but that didnt slow them down. The work was done on time and on budget. Mark and Jaron did most of the work and John supervised and helped out on the portions where a third hand was needed. They respected our request to not wear shoes inside the home and used dropcloths. They touched up the paint in all rooms and even helped install the window treatments.

The whole experience was great. John was all business and no fuss, which I appreciate. He followed up with the estimate for his work when he said he would, and he arrived on time on the day he said he would- and completed all the work efficiently and cleanly. I would absolutely hire him again as he was professional, prompt, and pleasant, and we are very happy with his work.

We were very pleased with the work performed. Our upstairs bathroom needed a complete renovation down to the studs and sub floor. The bathroom is small with lots of odd angles which complicated the job. John and Mark offered great ideas on how to solve the problems presented by the room. They exhibited excellent craftsmanship and high professionalism, were punctual and reliable, and left a clean job at the end of each day. The price was very fair considering the high cost of bathroom remodeling.

John and Mark are friendly and very professional. John submitted the bid to me the same day that he looked at the windows. We were in a time crunch due to our house being sold and he was very accommodating. He said he would be back the following week to do the job and he was! They were very neat, tarping my wood floors and cleaning up after. It was quality work for a very fair price. Other people we called were no shows or refused the job. I was very happy and would definitely use this company again.

John Leahy and his partner did a wonderful job. They removed the old flooring, fixed the toilet connection to the drain, installed the shower door, cut the ceramic tiles professionally, and installed everything inlcuding some new wall moulding. The bathroom now looks gorgeous. John's quote was $700 less expensive than 2 other quotes for the same work (one for $3300, another $3500).

We worked with John and Mark for what we thought was a simple renovation for a second bathroom. Well, one thing led to another and it ended up being much more complicated than we originally thought - I take all the credit for the complications! John and Mark were incredibly flexible and patient! We are so happy with the outcome! Every time I walk by that bathroom, I smile at how beautiful it is!

The project was more complex then we anticipated but John and his crew were able to handle the challenges. The work came out excellent and we get many compliments.

We hired Extreme Makeover (John Leahy) to perform a large renovation project. They demolished a den and installed a full bath. They replaced current kitchen counters and added additional counter and a peninsula. Also gutted an existing full bath and replaced it with a half-bath and walk-in closets. The project took about two months with the only delays being waiting for the town inspectors. John and Mark arrived every day on time and worked all day except for a half-hour lunch. They were extremely pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and conscientious in our home. They left the house clean every day and never left their tools behind. They worked with us at every turn, suggesting options and improvements to what we thought was a well-planned home improvement. John coordinated the sub-contractors making sure they were at the site when needed. We could not be happier with the results. The work performed is of the highest quality. Our friends are amazed at the look and style. We will have no qualms in hiring Extreme Makeover for any other projects.

We did a full remodel of our master bathroom that had last been updated in the 1970s. Work involved changing the shower tile (we kept the tub and a recently changed toilet), bathroom floor, fixing drywall, changing the vanity, new light and bathroom fittings and paint. I have used John and Mark before for 2 previous jobs including remodel of another bathroom. They are very busy and hard to get a hold of - this project was 8 months in the planning and scheduling. But once we got a date and an itemized estimate, work started exactly as scheduled. The job took about 7 business days - it was very much on time and on budget (the only budget excess was due to us picking a more expensive vanity and tile than what was allocated in the original estimate - which is not the providers fault). We also ran into a glitch where Homedepot did not have in stock the original vanity that we had picked and we had to make a last minute change - John was able to get this done without any delays. Overall, bathroom looks very good and came out better looking than we expected. Very satisfied with the work. We are looking to schedule them again for some bigger remodeling work in the kitchen and other areas in the near future.

John & Mark are very professional, punctual and friendly. They performed meticulous work on installation of our (2 x 5 tile size) kitchen back splash. They keep the work space clean and protected. They always keep you in the loop on scheduling and are very responsive to email or phone calls. We are very happy with our "smoking hot" kitchen back splash and hope to enjoy it for many years to come!

This was a very good experience. The contractor was polite, professional, and did good work. He ran into some snags along the way, (it's and old house) and he rolled with the changes. I would certainly work with him again. It can be tough to find people who are the package deal, Extreme Home Makeover are great. You won't be sorry. Highly recommend.
