Description of Work: Roofing Kings installed a new roof on my home, including removing the old shingles and roofing materials, re-boarding the roof with new plywood, installing new vents for the attic, installing a rain deflector, and of course installing new shingles on the entirety of the roof. The process was very easy, as they were able to measure and provide a written quote by email. The sales rep that came to our home to explain the materials and process was very friendly and knowledgeable, and didn't put a lot of pressure on us. We had quotes from two other companies, and Roofing Kings had the best price for the work we wanted done. The price posted here included the full redecking of the roof with plywood; it was a bit less had we just had them work with our existing roof material (barn boards). | |The weekday before our installation, the shingles and other materials were delivered to our home. On the day the install was scheduled, the crew arrived on time, and worked quickly. With the shorter daytime hours during winter days, it did take two days to complete, but at the end of the first day, all layers of material except the shingles were applied to the roof, so I was confident that even if there had been some rain, there would have been no leakage. The work was completed about halfway through the second day. Cleanup was very thorough, and there were only very few errant bits of shingle here and there -- definitely no nails. The dumpster to recycle the old shingles and waste was removed one day following the completion of work. | |The finished product looks great, and I would certainly recommend Roofing Kings to a friend or family member that was considering a new roofing installation.

Description of Work: Replaced roof. Owner Craig thoroughly explained the scope of the job and specific needs for the type of roof, problem spots, etc. Shawn, onsite job manager, and crew were professional. Along with a job well done, they made sure plants around house were protected and yard cleaned-up. I would recommend Roofing King for roof replacement. My town did require a building permit, so the job was postponed until permit was secured.

Description of Work: From start to finish, I was extremely pleased with this company. The initial contact went very well, the roofer stuck with the original quote, and there were no unhappy surprises. The Roofing King team replaced our roof. I have never seen a team work so quickly and efficiently. The team was extremely courteous and polite. These men worked their tails off replacing our roof. The roofer did have a subcontractor replace our gutter.

Description of Work: Roofing King removed two old roofs on my 3,500 sf house and replaced four skylights. The work went well, looks great, and the company was very professional throughout the process. All work was completed in a day and a half. I had received another bid on the work and Roofing King's price was comparable. The cleanup was excellent and they were very careful to protect the siding, shrubs, and other plantings. I am highly pleased with the professionalism and the workmanship of this company.

 + -1 moreI needed a new roof and contacted three roofing contractors for estimates. Roofing King was, by far, the most responsive of the three. We kept in contact by phone or email and Matt, the estimator, returned calls and answered emails promptly. He was patient, answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. The Roofing King crew arrived at 7:30 am on the date promised and completed the job the same day. Before the roof was stripped all of the landscaping around the house was covered. The debris from the roof was placed onto tarps and put into a trailer for disposal. When the job was completed, the only way that you could tell that the roof was stripped and a new roof installed, was to stand back and look up at the newly shingled roof. The area was immaculate. I had limited contact with the crew, but the contact that I did have was positive, respectful and informative. If I need to hire a roofer again, it?ll be Roofing King. I won?t waste my time getting three estimates again.

Description of Work: Removed all the old shingles, removed rotted wood, old skylights and replaced all with grade A materials. Also repaired years of damage from an improper chimney flashing installation, taking care of and replaced all bricks, flashing etc. There were no details missed, everything was replaced to better than new condition!

Showed us materials that would be used, insurance policies, etc. Sent out a detailed quote within a couple hours of leaving. Came out again once we accepted their offer to select roof color and sign contract. Work was scheduled that week. They showed up on time on the install date, completed everything as expected within one day and cleaned up thoroughly. Very happy.

He came to my house with his insurance his license samples of the roofing and put on an excellent presentation as to what he was going to do and how. His crew (6-7) showed up at 6:45am and stripped the entire roof in a couple of hours. They had the whole job completed by 5:00pm the same day. This house is a hip roof colonial and I was surprised they could do the whole thing in one day. They cleaned the yard as they went along with the project and made sure there were no nails around to drive over. Excellent , excellent, excellent. You need a roof this is the guy you want.

 + -1 moreI requested a quote for a new roof and Craig the owner and he got back to me promptly and scheduled an appointment for that day.Once Craig arrived, he presented me with a package describing the materials he uses, a Certificate of Accreditation with the BBB and cerificate stating his company was GAF Certified, which is the company that manufactures the shingles his company uses. Craig also let me know that he employ's his own crew ( no subs) and offered a lifetime shingle guarantee direct from the shingle manufacturer GAF. Craig was more than happy to answer any questions or concerns that I had after he explained the whole process to me. I was given a formal quote later that day and decided to go with Roofing King as I was comfortable with Craig and the quote I was given. I had gotten 3 other quotes and Roofing King was very competitive. we agreed on a day to start the job and everything went smoothly from beginning to end. I did have a couple of minor issues and Craig was right on top of them and made sure they were resolved to my satisfaction. The new roof looks great and we have no regrets going with Roofing King.

 + -1 moreBegining with Initial contact, Craig LaCrosse, The Owner of roofing King, was extremely Professional and instilled confidence that he was honeast, reliable and would provide a quality product. On the day of our appointment-- Craig called and asked, prior to our scheduled appointment, if it was OK to stop by a little later as his customer on his current job had asked for a couple small porch roofs to be added-- I had no problem with that as it showed me Craig was interested in making sure his customer on his current job is Happy before pursuing new work. Craig arrived and went over the GAF roofing system that he uses in great detail. He showed us his certificates as a certified installer, his insurance certificates and left us with his informational materials and went outside to measure the house. Later that evening Roofing King's proposal arrived-- I had already told him that I needed to get additional estimates and I would make my decision By Sunday of that weekend. I had a couple questions later on that he answered right away. Once I received the remaining estimates I decided to Hire Roofing King. We finalized the agreement on Monday and Roofing King accomplshed the strip and install on Thursday. On Friday the crew, led by Craig, returned to the jobsite and finished a very thorough cleanup. We filled out the warranty paperwork and set dates when it would be submitted (has to be done by the contractor) Thus far, I'm very pleased with the overall experience of working with Craig LaCrosse and Roofing King on this project and would definitely hire them again.

 + 5 moreUnlike the other company's that arrived to give estimates, I felt confident when this company truck arrived! The appearance of the owner, Craig, and his mannerism told me he is a confident, honest, and knowledgeable, straight shooting business man. I took him on a tour of what I felt needed to be done and he was very honest in giving me advise that saved me money, yet also honest on the more important issues that needed to be addressed. I purchased my windows and doors, directly thru him, of which were top of the line Anderson windows and doors at a fraction of the cost I would had paid had I purchased them myself. I was not aware when he took the roof off the house that the damage around the chimney was so significant and felt at that point the price was going to be inflated, as so many other contractors have done in the past, yet when the final payment came there were no hidden fee's. His employee's also were very professional and extremely polite. It surprised me that the whole job none of the workers took their company shirts off even though the day's were extremely hot, and all wore safety equipment. I am not only pleased with the job, and very satisfied with the price but have referred Roofing King Inc. to anyone I know looking for work to be done. Not one referral of all my friends and family have had any complaints. ALL AGREE THIS BUSINESS IS: Excellent 5 star business.
