Description of Work: Paul turned the kitchen in our newly bought home from awful to awesome! He installed a ceiling mounted range hood, ducted it outside, cut out a chunk of granite counter top from island to accommodate our new range, made a baseboard for the rang on site, and installed it. As always, he left the work area cleaner then he found it. Paul's ingenuity, skill, and attention to detail are second to none.

+ 2 moreTurns out that our water release for our heating system got blocked and water was being released into the ceiling space instead of outside. We were so grateful that he figured out the issue! He was super fast to respond and it's reassuring to know he's there when we need him.
Description of Work: Emergency service type call....We used Paul to remodel two bathrooms and paint ceilings in our home previously. This past weekend we had an issue with water caving in a ceiling in our basement. The room is nowhere near any plumbing. He was the 1st person we thought of to call for help. He came to our house immediately and assessed the issue and cause. He helped to stop the problem and with cleaning up. He will 100% be who we use to fix the ceiling, walls and floors.

Description of Work: We had two bathrooms to do. One a complete gut from top to bottom and the other just flooring, tub/bath surround and medicine cabinet and painting. He communicated throughout the entire job. Very responsive. A trouble shooter and able to problem solve. Able to keep us on budget and focused on our dream bathroom! Very happy with the results of both bathrooms. He handled ALL aspects of the job and we are looking forward to our kitchen remodel in the spring with Paul. Couldn't be happier!

Description of Work: We hired Paul to remove some siding in preparation for another crew to do some work on our front entryway, and also to inspect and repair a rotting fascia board. Once the entryway work was done, Paul came back to replace the siding.

+ 9 moreWent way better than I could have dreamed - on schedule and ON BUDGET!. The studio has a full kitchen, full bathroom, living room/bedroom with a porch at the entrance. Paul stayed positive and any surprises that came up he handled with ease - putting a door entrance in, we discovered my siding was nailed directly to 2x4's with no insulation or plywood - you could see outside when sheetrock inside was removed for the door. All work was done with permits and he handled the other subs as well. Paul handled everything!
Description of Work: Project 1: split a single family home to add studio apartment; put in full master bath and closet on the other side of house.

He and his helper worked non stop all day to correct all the areas needing replacement. He is very thorough and conscientious in doing his work. His price is very reasonable. + 2 morePaul has helped us with the house we bought this January, it has turned out to be quite the fixer-upper. He has done numerous jobs for us, the latest being the remodeling of two bathrooms. Paul removed the existing vanities and sinks, installed cupboards above the toilets, installed the new vanities. He installed an in-the -wall medicine cabinet, including framing. He patched and finished dry wall in both bathrooms. He installed the new faucets and plumbing. He routed molding and used it to frame a mirror for the master bath when we couldn't find a ready-made mirror in the size we needed. Just today he was here removing and replacing rotted siding on the outside of our house. It of course looks great, he made a special trip back to get a piece of synthetic wood for the toe-kick under the front door so it wouldn't rot out again. Paul is a perfectionist and always does a great job, taking pains to do things right rather than easy. He cleans up after himself, which is awesome. There has never been a job too small or too large for him to do. He is capable of doing pretty much anything and everything, and he does it well. We recommend him highly and without reservation.
Description of Work: Patched drywall, demo'd two bathroom vanities, installed new vanities and built in medicine cabinet. Installed new faucets, framed and installed large mirror over master vanity. Removed and replaced rotten siding on the house.

+ -1 moreIt went well. Paul came to check a leak we had in the roof, the roof was only 3 years old so it shouldn't be leaking but was. Paul was new to us but he was able to find the leak, fault of the other roofers, and suggested stripping that half of the roof to fix the damage. He showed us how it was wrong (shingles put on) and told us how it was supposed to be done. He put ice & water shield up the roof which doesn't have to be done but recommended it because of the pitch of the roof. We agreed with him and felt it was best. We haven't had a leak since. Paul made sure to clean up all the nails & trash before he left and was done in one day. Communication is a big concern and he always stays in touch with us during a job. He'll call or text if he's going to be delayed and up front with his time frame if the job is not an emergency. He is now doing work for our neighbor and has done other work in our house to full satisfaction. Paul is our go to contractor for all repairs.

He also provided lot of great suggestion in not wasting the space and created lot of necessary storage in the house above and beyond our expectations. We needed to move in by Christmas. Paul worked day, night and weekend and completed all the work and finishing touches and delivered our home in time to move back in for Christmas as agreed. He did an amazing job on our project. Paul is honest, hardworking, and trusted contractor. He is greate guy. I would highly recommend him to everyone.
Description of Work: Our home had water damage from another apartment last fall. General contractor Paul Jutras provided an excellent full home renovation from frame to finish. All the contractors said it would take up to 7 to 8 months. He started this job in October 2015 and completed the job in December 2015 including all permits and inspection necessary for the construction. In this project Paul did the insulation, installed various drywalls and celling in the family room and bathrooms to satisfy the fire and flood code. The walls and celling installation were done perfectly on the level. Paul also installed 2 bathrooms with custom tile work. He also installed mosaic tiles and custom full glass shower door for the bathrooms. The matching vanity and hardware updated the house from old to a modern house. In the kitchen, he installed great white wooden cabinets with moldings, granite counter tops, mosaic metal splash and all the appliances. He also installed a 8 feet by 4 feet custom island to match the floors. Paul also installed hardwood flooring, doors and custom marble thresholds. He also built an excellent custom loft bed with rolling stairs, electric fire place, many custom shelves and storages. Installed a great looking washer and dryer closet and did an excellent matching paint for the entire house.
