We found Paul through our neighbor that had him add a deck onto her house. After seeing his work on her deck, I approached him about doing this small job. I wasn't in a hurry for it to be done and told him he could do it whenever he needed a job to fit in between larger jobs. He came by within a month and took care of the job in an afternoon. He was very nice and professional and we'll definitely have him back for other larger jobs.

My Front door was leaking water into basement when it rains. So had to replace the door. Paul came in as promised, and removed the front door and found that the root cause of the leak was not the door but window above the door. So he started working on removing the siding and replaced the boards above the door. He did a great job here sealing every part above the door and then worked on installing the new door. I like the way he worked on small corner near the window to seal it. Paul has done other jobs at my home. He pay attention to small things too when he works on any job. He finishes the job looking great and clean..

Fast and Easy. Paul was here at 9:30AM and completed the project which include removal of the old carpet and was done by 4:30PM. Floor looks GREAT.

Paul resized some kitchen cabinets to fit our new refrigerator. He did an excellent job and you would never know they were cut and shortened. He also installed a new electrical outlet. Paul pointed out right away major faults in the way the deck was built and how unsafe it was. The foundation post and beams were not up to code, He seriously thought the deck would collapse at any moment. He knew right away what needed to be done, explained in detail how it should have been built correctly and what he would do to make it safe and up to code. After taking photos of the stress points and problematic areas of the deck, he said he will get back to me to give an estimate of the cost of the project. In less than a weekend, he called me back as promised with the estimate. Despite his heavy work schedule, Paul gave priority to this project with a timeline to finish the work in a week. He finished in less than a week even when he discovered midway in his work that the middle portion of the deck had a bump because the opposite sides of the joist was sinking. Of which he ably corrected. I am very pleased with the quality of his work and the difference with the deck is like night and day. Where there were puny posts before, has now been replaced with proper sized posts imbedded in correct concrete piers for strong support. The privacy wall was perfectly replaced with a very appealing but definitely sturdy boards that can let in light but can withstand the winds. I am very pleased with the excellent craftsmanship that Paul has done on this project. I highly recommend him to any homeowner needing his services. You will only be satisfied by his superb work!

Paul is great... He came and looked at the water damage near my front and back door. He gave me a very reasonable quote. He knew exactly what to do with both the doors and explained me all the work he is going to do. He saved the front door and had to replace the back door because of the excessive damage. He replaced the subfloor and installed tile (backdoor) and hardwood (front door). Overall I am very happy with the way the repair of the floor (both tile and hardwood) came out.

I highly recommend P Jutras Construction for all home repair needs. Due to some developing water stains on my ceilings I requested Paul come assess the roof and provide an estimate. His visit was very timely, assessment very thorough, and the estimate was very reasonable. He does all the work himself, so it takes a little longer than the bigger companies, but the quality of the work is outstanding and worth the extra time. He is easy to work with, very knowledgeable, and doesn’t try to sell you unneeded repairs.

Superbly! Paul Jutras is a talented and determined craftsman. He worked alone, but selected and supervised subcontractors for plumbing and electrical in a firm but friendly manner. He worked rapidly and tirelessly but produced excellent results for which he provides a 100% guarantee. If you find a problem after the project is complete, just call him and he'll make it right. I can't say enough good about him personally or professionally. I would hire him again in a heartbeat if I have a project I need done.

Paul continues to set the bar ever higher. He singlehandedly replaced 1200 sqf of nasty old carpet with 2 1/4" oak flooring and marble tile, installed custom made oak stair treads, and replaced 2 bathroom vanities.

Paul Jutras is a highly skilled and professional contractor who can do pretty much anything, a true jack of all trades. He built a beautiful three-season porch with sky lights and cathedral ceilings, all within the agreed and highly reasonable budget and on time. Basement got flooded in the afternoon. Called Paul late afternoon when he was on his way back from another work. Paul responded right way and came just about an hour later. Paul helped pumped out all the water. The water is from the central AC. Initially, I thought I would have to call some AC technician to find out what is wrong with the AC. I did not expect Paul to fix the root cause of the problem. Paul, however, told me it is simply the AC pump that is broken and he can fix it with a new one. Fixed it indeed. Paul got everything taken care of in less than two hours.

Paul highhandedly turned 1000 sqft of scary concrete basement into a wonderful space for recreation and entertaining, while sticking to a very reasonable budget. He is a craftsman, and artist, and a jack of all trades. I can't recommend him enough.

Having a new tile backsplash installed by Paul 5 months ago I was nervous about replacing the 19 year old microwave above the range. Never thought to do it when Paul was installing the tile, of course. Texted Paul to ask if he installed microwaves and within a couple of minutes he replied yes. Told him I was concerned that the top row of tile may have to be removed. He immediately called me and we discussed on the phone. Told me that it would be a few weeks for him to get over and since I hadn't even bought the replacement oven, I had no issue. When we found the perfect replacement I removed the old microwave and still wasn't sure if the new one would cause us to lose a row of tile. I texted Paul and he came over in a few days, measured, drilled and mounted the bracket and microwave. Turns out that the tile did not have to be removed and the new microwave is perfectly mounted and works great.

Paul was excellent and did a great job. He was on time and punctual each and every time he had to come to our home from the quote stage to the finished product. This was not a big job but Paul treated us like we were spending a million dollars. His attention to detail is unique. He made a couple of special trips to our house. I actually didn't order enough tile and he was not bothered at all and actually finished the job on a Saturday evening! Paul does all kinds of work so we'll be using him for all of our projects in the future.

Paul did an amazing job installing all new floors in my condo. He was professional, punctual and did an excellent job. I honestly could not be happier with the way this project turned out! He installed luxury vinyl plank throughout my condo as well as tiling the bathroom. In addition, he touched up all of the baseboards and was meticulous with his clean-up - even repainting parts of my walls!
