He found bat & flying squirrel activity in our attic - droppings & chewed acorns, plus 2 flying squirrels that were there during his inspection. He identified several entry points such as: open roof joints; a loose screen vent; an unprotected vent; open soffit joints. While he was here he gave us a printed estimate of the work involved. (Cool, a portable wireless printer!) The COST OF SERVICE for this work is what I've shown above. (NOTE: I also got a $35 coupon from Angie's List for being a first time customer, so we actually paid $760.) We decided then that we should have the work done & signed the agreement. I later made an appt for the work to get done. The technician came out on Thursday, 5/1/2014 to install the one-way doors in all identified locations. These doors allow critters inside to exit but they can't re-enter. He will return this week or next to seal off all these areas. He also noticed mold while he was inspecting our attic. I later made a separate appt for the mold rep to inspect & evaluate our situation. On 4/16/2014 the mold rep arrived to do the mold inspection. He found heavy concentrations of mold. Ever since our house was originally built (1982) the clothes dryer had been exhausting into the attic. (Within the past 10-12 years we had this corrected, but the damage had already been done.) Poor ventilation also contributed to the mold growth. Insulation was pushed all the way against the sheathing with no baffles. Fortunately, there is no structural damage. He sent us his recommendation for treatment & quote ($4,620 - I did not show this above) via email. Don't let the price turn you off - we have a HUGE attic. We have an appt for Thursday 5/8/2014 for the mold to be taken care of. Although I haven't met the mold tech(s) yet everyone I've met so far has been very pleasant & professional. I feel quite confident that the mold tech(s) will be the same. I have to say I've been very pleased with everything.

Always professional and on time etc. We had them take care of a large hornets nest at our last house and they did a good job. We have them of an annual contract and they come out periodically. I would recommend them.

So far they have done the best job out of any of the other pest control service providers that we have used. They did a very job and explained exactly what the problem was and how they were going to go about solving the issue. The house has been clear of the problems and I would highly recommend using this company.

The house was too damaged for their solution to handle, but that was not their problem. With them I was able to see how extensive the damage was. It was fine. Their service people are superb....

JP Pest Services was very friendly, professional and punctual. They arrived on time and were very respectful as well as informative on what they were doing with each step and how to also help prevent certain future pest issues. The price was very reasonable and they will be coming back quarterly to check on any pest activity and respray the exterior perimeter of the house. I would highly recommend their services.

Jp Pest's technician is friendly, well trained, and efficient

We have not seen any indication of mice in the house since there work so far this fall. They come in a check on the bait station which are out side and have added traps and bait stations where their are activity. They seem to do good job at setting things up and clearly explain what they are doing.

We have been using JP Pest for over 5 years. Their mosquito and tick yard spray application is unbelievable and makes a HUGE difference. Since using this service we haven't found a single tick on our dog. It is nice to be able to be out in the yard without getting bitten by mosquitoes too. We have a quarterly visit for house treatment which is critical since we live in a wooded area. Although keeping mice away isn't always easy, whenever we have an issue they send someone out immediately to retreat. Their staff is very polite and thorough. Worth the money!!!

The service was very well. They were knowledgeable and informative in their service, as well as prompt in their reply. They were efficient in their work and we are happy with the results.

They had to treat 4 times before they finally found the main source/nest. They guaranteed their work and came each time I called for no additional cost.

As noted above, JDPS came a total of four time upon our call. The last time was after the facade of the house was opened up by carpenter contractors. We had collected many flying carpenter ants in the intervening period, but after the carpentry demolition and rebuilding (and PDPS applications) the ants are seemingly gone. We must say that JDPS was always attentive, here on request, dealing with the problem both inside and outside the structure. All for the basic fee for a six-month guarantee.

They are very reliable and organized. They do what they claim they are going to.

It went very well/ Kasie explained exactly what my service would include and once completed, offered to return if I noticed anything that was covered under the service agreement i.e.: ants, spiders, etc.

I called JP Pest Service a few weeks ago to inspect my basement, as I had a strong mildew and musty smell that I could no longer ignore. Scott arrived on time and inspected all of the areas I thought were an issue. He was very professional and thorough (and even tried to be quiet with my kids napping upstairs). He explained everything very clearly to me and took a good deal of time to explain how I could solve a lot of the problems on my own. In the end, Scott recommend a better dehumidifier, as I was currently using just a small Home Depot version. I took his number and estimate and shopped around. Honestly, the other guys could not come close to JP Pest Service's estimate. I talked to six other basement companies in the area, and JP Pest was the least expensive, and they offered a lifetime warranty on the dehumidifier whereas everyone else only wanted to offer a 3-5 year warranty. I called up JP Pest to install the dehumidifier. Scott did the install yesterday. Again, he was very prompt and professional, installed the unit in very little time, took time to explain all of the features, the warranty, and my options for venting and drainage should I want to move the unit to another area. He also installed a condensate pump and left extra tubing and filter at no extra charge. I am very impressed with JP Pest. They did not try to pressure me into a product or service I did not need, they were prompt, professional, and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Ultimately I used another provider who came at the personal recommendation of a friend. But had I not, I would have gladly used this firm. They were prompt and helpful in their response to my inquiry.

They explained what I was to expect an if it did not occur then to call them and they would come back The initial treatment worked. Also, during the initial call, they saw terminates under a stepping stone away from the house. They were not equipped to do a thorough inspection around the house so JP call the next day and we scheduled a visit. They came out on a Saturday morning, did a thorough search and found minor activity in one area of a mulch bed. We signed up for the termite service and treatment began immediately. The termite service is expensive but can be paid over the two year contract time.

Very thorough inspection. Provided numerous details and helpful information. Made suggestions for mouse control solutions. Also included a 2 year warranty.

They are very responsive. They come 4 times a year or more if needed. They are a local company. They actually come more often than the contract. We would absolutely use them again and would recommend them.

First visit about 2 weeks after inspection when Cassie inspected with more detail and set out markers to determine complete status of property. She addressed several issues and we discussed a plan to attack the problem. I paid for the visit and discussed options for further followup visits. It was in the 90's weather. Cassie was very informative and thoroughly inspected the property and developed the treatment plan in discussion with me.

They're very expensive, but they're very good. We've used used them for black carpenter ants, and they were very good. I was very, very impressed that they knew what they were doing and why they were doing it. They explained everything. They were absolutely excellent, and they have a really, really good reputation.

it is their busy season so we had to wait 2 weeks - which was fine since someone was up at the house that week - they were very prompt - and checked out all the cabinets - and put traps inside and out - traps are locked so no small children or pets can get in them - they will come back to check every 3 months -- unfortunately a mouse ran into the house down the chimney while the guests were there and they had to come back to determine where they were getting in =

I have dealt with 4 certified technicians/applicators from JP Pest as well as customer service reps at their call center. All have been professional , friendly and punctual. I couldn't be happier, and just referred a friend to them last week through Chelsea when she did the applications.
