The job went well. Jay was prompt, courteous and knowledgable and did an efficient job.

We had a leak on the electrical box for our well tank. so I called a company that was listed on the tank who had serviced it before. We bought this house last July, and were faced with multiple home repairs that weren't officially in our home inspection. The company came out to fix the the leak and told me that our water tank should be replaced because it is old. Their price to replace it was outrageous, so I called around to get a rough estimate. I spoke with Jay from JMS plumbing and Heating, and his price was half of the original company's quote. I set an appt. and he called ahead before the appt. time to let me know his ETA. He arrived promptly and got right to work. We went to the basement and he checked the water pressure gauge and said the water tank was in good condition and did not need to be replaced. He could have easily just put it in and take my money, but he did not. Honesty and integrity are hard to find these days! I mentioned a problem with the heat not coming out of some of the vents in our family room. He went to the furnace and made an adjustment to one of the levers. We now have a warm room that I previously avoided because it was too cold. He also looked at a door that needed to be replaced because it had warped. He is working on an estimate for that. He made several helpful weatherproofing tips and fixed a leaky toilet that had been driving me crazy. I would call Jay a "Jack of all trades". One of the best things about Jay is that he explains things in layman's terms so you understand the whole process. He also has a remodeling business and I would not hesitate to hire him for that! I don't give out A's easily, but JMS Plumbing and Heating certainly deserve it!

Same day service, Scheduled a time that was convenient for me Jay called to let me know he was on his way He was right on time. Moved a bunch of stuff to get to the water heater so i wouldn't have to. Very personable You could tell he was very experienced at what he was doing by how efficient he was. Walked me through each step. Cleaned up after himself. The only sign he was there is we now have hot water.

Did exactly what we asked for, then also took apart the faucet - sprayer to check for obstruction. This was not part of original scope, so he didn't have to. After he was done, realized the connections to the faucet were bad and replaced for the cost of parts. I would use Jay again and recommend him to friends and neighbors.

Overall quite satisfied with work.

Jay was very responsive and returned my calls promptly. We scheduled an appointment for a Saturday morning. He contacted me to let me know what time he would arrive and was even a few minutes early. He had also taken the time to stop to pick up the parts ahead of time. We took a look at the project and after taking a few minutes to assess the job, Jay told me he did not think the expansion tank needed to be replaced. He took the time to thoroughly review the heating system with me and explained to me how it worked. After our discussion we were in agreement that the work was not necessary at this time. Jay could have completed the project and made a quick buck. I appreciated his honesty in telling me that the work was not necessary. With this one interaction he has won my business. After this experience I will be calling Jay for all of my plumbing and heating needs.

I called JMS and explained my problem. The operator took my information and called me back in 15 min with an appointment time the same morning. JMS showed on time and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He was very professional and I would absolutely hire him again.

Jay was great. He came over right away and quickly repaired the gas leak to the water heater. He also confirmed that there wasn't a gas leak in my gas fireplace and showed me how to restart the pilot light. Excellent, prompt, reliable service. I will definitely use JMS for all my future plumbing and heating needs.

JMS Plumbing did a excellent job installing a washer hookups for my 3rd floor apartment.The price was only 250 for parts and labor.They were prompt, Jay arrived on time 7:00 am,and communication was excellent. We discussed possible future projects and because of Jay's experience and knowledge I felt like I would be able do what needed to be done, without breaking the bank. Working with Jay was a pleasure. I called him at 6:30pm on a Saturday night because my water heater was leaking. I called him because the heating service I normally used could not commit to a Sunday repair visit. Jay returned my calls quickly, and worked through what the replacement would entail with me (also contacted my tenant separately to verify model). This was all Saturday night. He showed up at 9am Sunday ready to replace my water heater. It turned out my installation was different than anything Jay had seen before, so after spending an hour looking at it and conversing with me he declined to do the job as he was not sure of some details. He said no charge, I didn?t fix anything! About an hour later I got a call from Jay. He had called around to some friends in the business and figured out the missing details, and offered to do the job at 7:30am Monday morning. I said go for it! Before 11am on Monday I got a text confirming the job was complete, which I confirmed with my tenant that evening. I have to say it was a great experience working with Jay and I would certainly use his services again in the future!

We had a couple of minor hiccups that weren't necessarily his fault, but through it all he was very open, honest, and stuck to his estimate even though it ended up being more work for him than anticipated. ||While digging the trench for the pipe, he nicked a bundle of low voltage control wires for my irrigation system. Anyone that would have been digging there would have hit them so I don't hold that against him. He came and told me about it right away. That impressed me. He could have very easily covered it up, literally, and I wouldn't have discovered a problem until spring. That was a testament to his character in my opinion. He's one of the good guys that are so hard to come by these days.||He knows his limits and if you ask him to do something he's not comfortable with, he'll tell you and explain why.||I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others. |

Jay was great. He retuned my calls immediately and arrived promptly on the day we agreed on. He fixed a few nagging problems I had and installed a whole house water filter. He was knowledgeable about his trade and offered suggestions to correct my poor water flow issue. I will definitely be calling him in the future.

This service was completed some time ago and I am having issues with this plumbing again. I will call another service.

Turned off the water, Checked the water pressure, Later he fixed the leak, He fixed it. But there was another leak that he didn't see, he came back to fix that in a few days. | |He said he had a friend who had a construction co. and that he could give me an estimate for the ceiling dry wall job. I accepted the quote and they preformed the task. I had to wait a few days, but they did a good job all in all. I just wish that he could work on his availability. But I understand that he was a family man and he had to pick up and drop off his children before he could come to do the job. | |He promised to send his estimates on email and I had to ask several times before I got them.

I did not hire JMS and would not recommend him to anyone. His quotes are too high and he suggests work that is not necessary.

What could have been a very stressful holiday, was handled quickly and professionally. He answered my phone calls and always responded quickly. He notified me when he was coming and if he was going to be late. The work was completed efficiently and to a very high standard. The price for both the emergency call and the installation for the new heater was very reasonable. I couldn't have been more pleased. He respected my home and left it the way he found it, except for the new heater!

I called Jay on a Friday after the water heater took a dump. He arrived a few hours later and promised that I won't have to wait the weekend to take a shower. Yay.. After figuring out what was needed for the old gravity exhaust type arrangements were made for the new fangled water heater of choice. The dealers were closing and he had the vendor leave the heater outside so he could pick it up the on the way home. He said he'd be back at 7:30 am on Saturday to finish the job. Yay. At 7:30am sharp Jay installed a working top of the line State propane power exhaust water heater royale. I waited a week to post my review looking for any flaws in the workmanship. Even one drop of water would have cost him a full letter review grade. However, everything has been working perfectly including the custom exhaust needed for an out of the way exhaust port. Fair is fair and Jay did an outstanding job. Jay kept his word, was prompt and despite the 2nd trip and 2nd day of labor, Jay held true to the original estimate. I would use Jay again.

Overall we had a very positive experience with Jay who did the work for us. Jay was fantastic, and conducted the job more as a friend that a contractor. The work was very executed in a very professional manner and the workmanship was excellent. The city inspector also provided positive feedback on Jay's workmanship. Jay also provided tips for other work around the house. The estimate was fair and he kept to the estimate. I would definitely use Jay for any work that might come up.

After new countertops and undermount sink was installed we had jms plumbing come. Jay was on time and changed all the piping under the new sink.Jay put in the new faucet,connected the dishwasher, and put in the soap dispenser.He did a great job and was half the cost quoted to me if the granite guy 's plumber did the job.

JMS was prompt and on time. He even called to let me know that he was on his way. The job was more difficult than I thought it would be due to rusting, but he kept at it until everything was repaired. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and offered affordable solutions to other plumbing issue that I am having. When he was finished, he cleaned up the area in which he worked. I would highly recommend JMS Plumbing..

It turned out just so, so. He installed the kitchen faucet and did a good job on that. That was worth the price of the deal. We asked him to give us an estimate on a big job and we never heard back from him. We were happily surprised with the amount that it came too. He did way more than what the agreed price covered. We thought that there was going to be an additional charge for the other work that he did, but there was not. It was both good and bad. I would not use them again.

Jay saw the job through to the finish and we would definitely have him back to do more work.

Jay was very courteous and professional in all our interactions. We had a difficult time arranging a service date in large part due to the distance he had to travel and my requirement for an afternoon time. It was apparent that I was not in his service area. I was not interested in creating a hardship for him. My hope had been to establish a continual business relationship with a reliable plumber to get other plumbing jobs done along with the service offered. This did not seem possible because of the travel distance.
