Ken's response time and communication was excellent, this was not an emergency repair but he still came to my place to fix the problem on a Saturday which I appreciate! Ken answered his phone promptly each time I called which is also important. I can see why the provider as a A+ rating on Angies list. I also received 10% off for being a first time Angies list customer.

Ken was awesome! He called me the morning of my scheduled service to let my know when he would be arriving. He and his helper Scott were polite and patient. They came in, looked at the shower, listened to my description, and got right down to work. Ken was thorough and neat, double checking everything. We had some parts that needed replacing and some missing gaskets which he took care of quickly. He also answered my questions about a future plumbing project. I would most definitely use him again! Ken was very professional & friendly. Very easy to talk to. He explained everything in detail before doing the work & explained why he was doing things in a certain way. Took the time to answer my questions until I felt 100% confident in what was being done & why. Ken & Scott worked quickly & efficiently together until they completed the project. The water line installed is out of the way & not even noticeable unless you go looking for it. A+++++ work!! My new refrigerator with the water & ice maker have been working perfectly. Will definitely hire for any plumbing issues in the future

This went very well, they showed up when they said they would be here. I really liked the fact they gave me time to explain what was going on and what I had tried myself. They went right to work after that explaining to me the possible problems and what they where doing to try and determine the root cause. The finally solution was using an auger to clear pipes which they did very well. Its been a about a week and the clog has not returned.

Ken wowed me and was a "Triple A" as he went above and beyond. Communication was also a "Triple A; "Triple A" all the way. They will wow you every time.

This was my first experience with Pierce Plumbing, who I decided to use based on his Angie's List reviews. Ken arrived on time with his helper and had cleared the clogged drain in less than an hour. When I spoke with him on the phone to schedule the call, he had quoted me a $29.00 service call fee + $110./hr. for two men. He charged me a total cost of $65.00 for the call. I had planned to use the 5% discount coupon I had from Angie's list; however his cost was so reasonable that I did not use it./ We are considering having him back to replace our kitchen sink. Based on my initial experience, I would certainly recommend him.

Ken came out as promised and looked at the job to be done. Due to an emergency call he received to fix a frozen water pipe due to frigid temperatures, he was an hour past the service call time however he called twice to keep us informed of his estimated arrival. He did not want to charge us the service call fee of $39.00 due to being late. Just because of his integrity and sincerity we paid him for his time. Ken told us how we could get a new kitchen faucet by calling the manufacturer since he believed it was still under warranty. He could of sold us one but instead he saved us $200.00. On the service date, Ken was punctual and arrived with a helper due to the tight space he had to work with. He completed the job in an hour and thirty minutes. His charge was extremely reasonable. From previous inquiries, we expected to pay a lot more. This man is very honest and reasonable and I would not hesitate to use him again. I highly recommend Ken Pierce for any of your plumbing needs.

Ken was knowlegable and was able to come up with an installation to meet my needs. As other reviews mentioned, he is above market average for price, but the work was done on time and was quality. You get what you pay for, sometimes.

We think we were overcharged for the work. He worked extremely slowly and we have been advised from a couple of other plumbers what they would charge for that work and their estimates were considerably lower. We are not happy with the work because he told us that the expansion tank for the well would improve our water pressure and it did not. He also tried to sell us something that was a lot more expensive that he said would help our water pressure.

He performed these services competently and efficiently. He took the time to answer my questions and explain what he was doing and why he was doing them. He was very professional and pleasant at the same time.

I found them on Angie's List. They were absolutely amazing. It's absolutely A's across the board with them. They are now officially my plumber.

I had a leak from my upstairs shower coming through the kitchen ceiling. Plumber came out the next day, quickly identified the problem, which thankfully was minor, needed to replace the the part that switches the water flow from the tub faucet to the shower. He did not have the appropriate size for my shower so went to the store for one,. He returned and replaced the part. I asked if he could look at the downstairs shower as well as it was leaking around the shower head, he repaired that as well. Price was reasonable, he was thorough and efficient, cleaned up after the job. Highly recommended.

This company is the best!... There are honest, highly responsive and professional. It was a pleasure to do business with a service that is fairly priced and has good people who are experts and experienced... call this business first, you won't regret it.

I may have already provided a narrative on this job, but Ken is incredible efficient, friendly and honest. He gets is usual grade of A+. I've used his services for about four years now.

I chose Pierce because they seemed to have the best Angie's List reviews. Ken showed up on Friday to give an etimate, and by Tuesday he and Mike had installed a brand new water heater as well as a new gas line for the stove that I had previously bought. Even offered to help carry the stove from the garage to to kitchen! Great communication throughout, and job was executed like clockwork. They left my basement cleaner than it was when they arived. If you're looking courteous, professional, hastle-free plumbing work, definitely give them a ring!

Both service and communication were great. Ken told me what time he would get here, told me everything he was going to do before the task was performed, and then was right on with the cost of his estimate. Everything was done less than 24 hours from original contact.

Found Ken on Angie's List, he called me back promptly, I described what I wanted done and scheduled an appointment. Ken called before appointment time to verify appointment, showed up on time with helper. Worked efficiently and cleaned up all of work area. Being an older home, the installation was in a tight space. It required careful measuring, adding shutoff valves and was anything but a routine install. He took old sink with him. The work required two visits. The first was to fix the garbage disposal and the second was to work on the three valves. The leak was quickly repaired but re-attaching the disposal lead to another issue due to a broken fitting on the unit from the initial installation. Ken was able to fix the issue avoiding having to order a replacement part from the manufacture. Overall Ken did a great job and was very reasonable on the total cost. I also appreciated the time he took to answer any questions I had regarding the work being done and/or other general questions.

I had a 27 year old gas boiler that worked, but was very inefficient, and had served beyond it's useful service life. Having had a good experience with Pierce Plumbing before, I called him to talk about a new boiler. I wanted a high-efficiency boiler, so Ken helped me with my choices, and I ended up going with a Triangle Tube 96.5% efficient gas boiler. Ken gave me his price, which was more than I thought, but once we got into the project, it became clear that it was much more work than I originally thought. We agreed on the price and a start date, and Ken gave me his estimate of a completion date. Due to potential unknowns that could be discovered while in the midst of the project, Ken gave me a range of a few days for a completion date, with a start date of Friday, and a completion date no later then the next Friday. Ken and his team showed up on the first day (a Friday), and removed the old boiler and some of the old plumbing. They delivered the new boiler, and did some planning for the install, which would start on the following Monday. On Monday, the team showed up, and got started. There were of course issues along the way, but the team got through them all. They had some challenges with the venting, and with the condensate removal line, but they figured it all out. They worked very hard, and were always willing to talk to me and explain what they were doing, and why. I ended up with a very neat and professional looking job which was completed on schedule on Friday. Even the inspector said it was a very nice installation. The inspection passed with no issues at all. I had one very minor issue, the check valves were left open (which is apparently how they come from the factory), so when one zone turned on, the hot water went to both zones. I called Ken, and he showed up right away on Monday, and fixed it within minutes. Now that the weather is colder, I've had a chance to see how the boiler works. It does an excellent job at keeping the house at a very stable temperature. It is properly sized, and it has no issue with heating both zones. The boiler is very sophisticated, and I look forward to signficantly lower gas bills in the future. Overall, it was an excellent experience. Ken helped with the selection, he and his team worked h****** the removal of the old boiler and install of the new one, and they did a great job.

Ken showed up when he said he would, investigated the issue, figured out what I did wrong, removed my mistake, and replumbed the feed to the toilet so that it only used cold water.

I had 3 jobs to be done - outside faucet and 2 tub/shower valves. No rough estimate over the phone. I called and scheduled a visit for following Thursday; he called on Wednesday to delay the Thursday appointment by 2 hours. ( Not I problem - I had said up front that my schedule was flexible.) Estimate was much higher than expected, so I had him do only the outside faucet. Work was quick and efficient, repaired faucet works fine. Good workmanship, left things in good order, no mess left behind. MIGHT use again based on good workmanship - but price was very high.

Our appointment was scheduled for 10am. At 9:55 he called to say he was just leaving Manchester. Around 11:15 I called to see where he was and if he was still coming but he didn't pick up so I left a voicemail. At 11:30, he finally showed up which is clearly an hour and a half late. He came in too look at the areas where he would be doing work. We spent about 10 minutes looking at the 2 areas. He then went back out to his truck where he proceeded to talk on the phone for 10 minutes. After he was done with his phone call he came back to the door and told me that he would need to contact the building department to make sure the house was up to code. Keep in mind, he's charging $92 per hour. This is really starting to drag out and my feeling is that he is doing work outside of the scope of things that are necessary. This house is new construction and was just CO'd this year, so I know that it is up to code and told him such. At that point, he tells me that he has a family emergency and has to leave. So he left. Would NOT recommend this guy to anybody. I took my morning off of work to make sure this was done and now I'm just behind on work and still don't have a dryer or garbage disposal that work. Waste of time.

Last evening our garbage disposal failed. I tried to fix it but could not. I checked Angie's List and selected Pierce Plumbing & Heating based upon 23 very positive reviews. Ken Pierce called me back within 2 hours, we made an appointment and he arrived on schedule. It took 1-1/2 hours to replace the defective disposal. My only complaint was his prices. He marked up the disposal by almost 100% (per an Amazon price) and his hourly rate was $92. This seems very high to me. All this being said, If I require a plumber in the future I would call Ken but negotiate very h****** price.
