Description of Work: Secondwind Water Systems is fantastic. Everyone was very responsive, knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely recommend Secondwind Water Systems. I replaced my entire Culligan system, so that I would not have to deal with them in the future. Secondwind and the Kinetico water system is far superior in quality and in customer service.

Description of Work: Installed water conditioning system. It was expensive, relative to other systems in general but I think it will prove to be the best approach. Time was an issue......could have done the job myself but the savings didn't warrant the effort.

Description of Work: SecondWind sent a knowledgeable technical sales consultant, Jesse G, who looked over the analysis we had done last year, ran a couple of independent tests and offered a couple of options. He spelled out the pros and cons of each and we selected a solution that included a whole-house softener and a “point of consumption” RO filtration system. He answered all of our questions and scheduled the installation. The installer showed up on time with everything needed and he did a very professional job, which included a walk through of “owner serviceable” items. Last week, Jesse G came for a follow up visit to answer any questions we might have and to ask if we had any feedback on the installation process. Our feedback is that the installer did a very good and professional job. We can confidently recommend Second Wind! Note: we do not disclose actual pricing, since “Your mileage may vary”. Pricing was better than a competitive proposal we had received.

+ -1 moreI have known since May of 2004 that I was going to have to put in a water treatment system in our new house, finally in June of 2008, we bit the bullet and had a system installed. I knew of Secondwind Water Systems from my job, so it was only natural that I had them take care of my needs. I was put in contact with Vicki Coltey, the salesperson for my area. We arranged a meeting for her to come out to the house, pull a water sample and see what sort of space and system would work for us. Vicki was very easy to work with and listened to our needs, great person to work with. We agreed up on a plan to deal with our water problems. The following week an installer came out, installed the system and went piece by piece through the whole system with my wife. She was very impressed with his knowledge and ability to explain how it all worked together. Having a background in the US Navy, I was very pleased to the level of documentation and labeling that was done to explain to a home owner how the whole system operated. We have had the system in place for 60 days now and realized we should have done it much much sooner.
Description of Work: -Need to purchased and have installed a whole house water treatment system to deal with Manganese, Iron and Hydrogen Sulfide (rotten egg smell) for our well water.
