Showed up at the scheduled time. Service person was courteous and friendly. They explained the work they would be performing and provided tips for maintaining the system. They worked quickly and quietly and left no mess behind. Exactly what you want in a service call.

They explained the options clearly, and during the visit explained what they were doing and the results, which was helpful. Overall it went well. The system did not supply enough salt at first, but they came out quickly to adjust/correct it. Friendly installation personnel too.

Secondwind Water Systems based in NH through their agent Home Depot of Londonderry push the services of Secondwind in their Londonderry store as a 'great deal' if you want a water softener system; that was far from the case with this company.First off, they were higher priced than the other quotes I received (by almost $1,000). I choose to hire them because I am a self-employed consultant and I only get paid for the days I work and they were willing to work with my schedule to install the unit. To make a long story short; I hired them, they never showed up the day they were supposed to install the unit, were extremely unprofessional when I spoke to them and as a result I lost over $1,000 from having to take the day off when they were supposed to install the unit. I spoke to Peter the general manager of the Londonderry, NH store---he was no help whatsoever and lacked the ability to resolve a problem for a long term customer. I fired Secondwind and now have to start all over again in finding a reliable company. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with this company, save the added expense of their overpriced system and find another company to do business with...there are too many good service providers to have to deal with a bad one like Secondwind.

It was the right system for our home and well, and solved the pH and taste issue.

The outcome of the service was great. The water quality is now excellent!

It has been an excellent experience. They were very attentive to what we wanted. Although there was a leak after the installation, they promptly came back and repaired the leak.

We were very happy with them. We spent close to $6000. He was extremely helpful, he sat down with us for over an hour and describe the different systems that Medico had an the levels of contamination they would remove and they showed us our water usage and so on.

They did a phenomenal job. It was a high-end water softener, and they even guarantee it for five years. They were right on time and were very professional. It was highly detailed plumbing work, and everything was exactly perfect.

Our current provider came to do the annual maintenance and left w/o it functioning properly but charged $100 more than the previous years annual tuneup fee. We found Secondwind Water Systems on Angie's list. They diagnosed and fixed the problem within an hour.

Very happy with overall experience. They were a little confused as to which town I lived in. Promised to come the day I called, then later in day they determined they had me listed I the wrong town and had no servicemen near me that day. Promised the next day someone would come. They did and he not only repaired the broken hose, explained how the system worked, and did a yearly checkup and cleaning. The technician was very polite, knowledgable, friendly, and professional. Called before he arrived, came within time slot scheduled, and went right to work. Very pleased with the company and the service received.

Very professional. Very prompt. Could've sold us a system that was twice as expensive but didn't because the system he sold us was much more economical and practical. Very happy with the service and the product.

Tech called the day of the service to make sure I was there and to let me know the precise time he was coming . The tech was extremely professional and answered my many questions. Prior to the service, the office was great about having to reschedule my initial appointment. This company is very responsive. The only issue I have is the cost of the service, even with the discounts they generously offer. I'm not sure that any other company would cost less. I do recommend this company, but be aware that they may be more costly than other companies.

Everything went well. The sales representative went the extra mile in explaining our options and was willing to work within our budget. She also presented an air of knowledgeability without being condescending which we appreciated.

They showed up when they said they would, put the system in place in 2 or 3 hours - with a very clean job. Phone calls and follow up to ensure all was done correctly and a return call to walk through it. First rate company and product.

First I was visited by RJ who tested my water and explained how the system worked and how and where the new water system would be installed. A few weeks later (delayed due to me not Secondwind) 2 service men arrived and installed the system in very tight quarters professionally and quickly. It took about 4 hours. They went over the functions of the system, labeled everything and explained what I needed to do to maintain it. RJ came back a few days later and retested the water and went over the maintenance procedures again - not much to maintaining this system, but nice to know and have everything labeled. I am a very happy customer - no more orange water stains and great tasting water. I highly recommend this company - professional, fast service and they sell a great product - Kinetico

Secondwind was prompt, professional and reasonable. When it is time to have our system replaced, we will call Seconwind.

On the day and time of the schedule estimate, Charlie arrived at my door a few minutes early. He came with a tool box full of water testing gear, a camera to take pictures, and a clipboard with his forms to take copious notes. I was immediately impressed because no other contractor came half as prepared or professional. He spent a good amount of time understanding the layout of the water system and the basement and we talked about where I wanted the system to go and how I wanted it exhausted. He figured our well/tank/filter system out, tested the water, and sketched out the system on paper. He talked me through everything and answered my short list of questions. He gave me a quote at the end and on his way back to his office, called another company to coordinate a same-day install for soil remediation. All was lined up and green-lighted within 48 hours for an install a few weeks later. On installation day, Bob showed up at 9am on the nose as scheduled. He was very friendly and immediately got to work, looking over the install area and walking me through what he was going to do. The morning was uneventful, with a request to turn water on/off here or there, as he did the installation. When I poked my head in at noon, the unit was installed neatly in the corner with all the water piping run and ready to be exhausted (another company was handling the exhaust pipes). When he was finished, he ran his system tests, took water samples, and called me down to review the system. Bob walked me through all the parts, thoroughly explaining what to do when and how, and left me with all the paperwork. It was one of the best home contractor experiences I've had, and he left that area of the basement cleaner than it was when he arrived. I had 3 contractors come in to give us quotes and this company wasn't the least or most expensive, but it was the one I felt was the most professional and put on the least sales pressure. The only reason I gave a B in price is because I did get a significantly lower price from another contractor for the same unit - by close to $1000. I think he was just trying to get the job and low-balling the bid (and who knows what he would "find" when he'd get here), but it made me think that there must be enough margin in the price for him to afford some of that reduction. Who knows, really. I still think their price was fair.
