Shawn and his team did and excellent job on the work that was contracted. I am very particular about who I have work on my property. After an exhaustive search both on AL and other WEB sites it came down to 2 contractors. Shawn won me over with is attention to detail and flexibility in scheduling. All the work was done over 2 days and completed to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend Pyramid Roofing LLC to anyone who is looking for quality work on their roof.

Shawn and his crew are a class act. And if you don't feel like reading my lengthy review, just know that I would HIGHLY recommend Pyramid Roofing to a friend or family member. Now on to the verbose review... After calling multiple roofing companies to remove snow and ice dams on my roof this winter, Shawn was the only one willing to work me into his schedule the same day - that's important when water's coming into the house! And he did that twice for me this winter! Once his crew was on site (Peter, the Foreman, is great by the way!) they noticed issues with the installation of the existing roof, which was going to cause problems every winter moving forward (echoing and adding to the concerns that the home inspector had brought up when we bought the house). So not wanting this repeat experience next year I had Shawn quote me a brand new 50 year GAF roof with ice and water shield over the whole structure. I did some due-diligence and got verbal estimates from other roofers that were about 20% higher, but truthfully even if those estimates were lower I would still have done business with Shawn - his customer service skills go a long way. Fast forward to the install of the new roof and the issues noticed on the outside with the previous roof became apparent with the amount of rotted wood needing to be replaced. Additionally, every roof connection and penetration needed to be re-flashed (chimney, dormers, etc.), which wasn't part of the original quote. So the quoted one day job quickly turned into two, but Shawn gave me a good price on the unforeseen extra work and now I have roof that I know won't give me any more problems.

I woke up early that morning, found leakage coming from the ceiling in my kitchen. I was very nervous, so I called Pyramid Roofing, spoke with Shawn (owner) and told him my situation. He told me they could get to me early the next morning. I then expressed my fear, he called back shortly thereafter and told me that he would have his guys come out that day. Not sure exactly when they would be coming out, I called Shawn again..he immediately called me back and assured me that it would be soon when they came. His guys arrived @ 6:00 pm. assessed the situation and immediately got to work. The amount of ice on roof was EXTREME. However, they cleared the snow and ice dam removed. I was amazed at how quickly they got the job done. the lead man (scott) was very professional (as were the others) and very nice to work with. Would I call them again. MOST DEFINATELY! AND the price was more than reasonable for the amount of work they did. I was so greatful that I had to express my thanks to Shawn. He was very pleasant. I don't believe you will find another company that is so efficient, willing to work with you, does an excellent job and reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to call them when/if another situation arises and I HIGHLY recommend anyone reading this review to do the same. They are all people persons. Thanks again guys, Wendy W.

They showed up the very next day after we called. We had a dripping ceiling in our living room. They were on time very professional and completed the job within 2 hours. We have a raised ranch average length. Major ice damns in at least two places and lots of ice all around.Cleared all the snow over where it was leaking and 4 to 5 ft. around the rest. Would definitely use their service again.

We contacted 3 companies, they were the only ones that showed up and gave us the estimate. We were very impressed with the estimate, and they showed up 3or 4 weeks later, and completely the work in one day. They cleaned up and there was nothing left on the grounds or anything. He was marvelous. The workmanship was excellent. They put things down so stuff wouldn't go in the shrubs, the dumpster was here, and they put things in the dumpster.

iWe searched a while for a reputable roofing company both through Angie's List and by word of mouth. From the outset Shawn and his company were the most professional of all the other companies we looked at and contacted. He left a folder complete with all the products that will be used on our roof. He was easily accessible both through email and by telephone. He answered all our questions in a very timely manner. The entire job was completed in a little less than two days. The crew were extremely polite and hardworking. We highly recommend Pyramid Roofing for any roofing job.

Shawn was very professional and helpful through the entire process from contact to quote to job completion. He was always very prompt in returning my calls and answered all questions I had. He came in pretty close to the price point of other quotes I received and the reviews here and thorough documentation of his quote certainly put him over the top. The workers that came to actually do the job did a good job of protecting the siding and landscaping as they removed the old shingles and put the new ones up. They were very quick and courteous about moving their vehicles when I needed to get through. I had two very minor issues, there was a small bit of trash left around after the job was complete (a piece of plastic or two, a soda bottle and a cigarette butt), but given the mess involved in replacing the roof they did a pretty good job of cleaning up. The other issue was that I was not informed until after the job was complete that there was some minor repair work that needed to be done on the plywood adding a small extra cost to the provided quote (~1% of total job cost). Given the small amount and that the work did need to be done, I did not find this to be a big deal either. Overall, Shawn and his team did a good job and I would recommend them to others in the future for any roofing needs.

.Stripped off old roof. Installed 8" aluminum drip metal on all edges. Applied ice and water shield 9' high on eve edges. Applied eave and rake shingles to seal edges. Applied moisture barrier over wood as opposed to felt paper. Installed architectural shingles. Install ridge vent on peak. Install ridge cap over ridge vent and peak.Install new bathroom vent pipe flange.Did a excellent clean up job and disposed of all debris.

Very well done, good attention to detail. Any small issues were immediately attended to nicely. All the crew were polite and professional. The yard is cleaned well. Very good follow up by Shawn. All phone calls were answered promptly. Nice job! Diane D

Shawn is truely a man of his word. I was very impressed with his business dealings, going out of his way to do as much as he could to satisfy his customer. His crew are all hard working employees who are very good at what they do. This makes for a great team to have working for you. I was so pleased with the workmanship, price and outcome of their work that I gave Shawn a second house to do.

Shawn (the owner) personally provided a complete inspection and a thorough bid (which when we signed later, became the contract). He sent a superb crew headed by Peter who arrived on time and did everything flawlessly. As you can see from the price, it was a big job taking 4 days to complete, despite Peter and his crew appearing to be a model of efficiency and professionalism throughout the effort. We had 6 bids: 2 from "big box stores"; 2 from independent contractors; and 2 from "roofing professionals"...companies whose main calling card is roofing. Pyramid's bid was at least 75% less than the big box stores. It was also about 25% less than the independent contractors who could not match the warranty GAF/Pyramid provide (50 year, non-prorated on all aspects of the materials and workmanship...Pyramid being an approved/certified GAF installer.) The other roofing professional's was ~$4000 more for CertainTeed, a comparable but, in our minds, slightly less desirable product due to the close, but not as totally-encompassing warranty. The combination of product and price led us to Pyramid and, as it turns out, we are firmly convinced we could not have made a better choice. Another "just noticeable difference" in Pyramid's favor is that they provide 9' of ice and water shield along all edges and valleys' whereas the other roofing professional only wrote in for 6'. We live in the Monadnock region of NH and get a LOT of snow, so the extra ice shielding provides just a bit more confidence in the outcome. All other features...the underlayment, the starter row shingles, the 8" metal flashing, the upgraded/top-of-the-line roof vent system were all pretty much the same and so it would have ended up as a coin toss. Now to Shawn's crew led by Peter. These guys (if I may use the term in this forum) worked their butts off the entire time they were here. They arrived a bit early on the first day (about 10 minutes, because Garmin indicated it would take that extra 10 minutes)...in other words PROMPT!!! And they hit within 5 minutes of their coordinated time each other day. They were all personable and professional. (BTW these are all direct Pyramid employees...not subs or someone picked up off the street for that day/job and Pyramid provided proof of insurance and workman's comp participation, in case that may also be a contributing factor in your decision process.) Repeating from above, the coordination and speed with which they were able to do the job were almost mesmerizing to watch. They laid down tarps and heavy rubber sheeting to catch the removal debris and followed up with a VERY thorough clean up. We have dogs and were concerned about a stray nail. Peter made sure the magnet was run at least twice and, I'm pretty sure they may have even done it a third time because that's the kind of people this work crew are. Summarizing: Getting a roof replaced is a big chunk of money. And, thankfully we did a good bit of research before we jumped into a decision. It was good (at least for our peace of mind) to get bids from the entire range of who may be able to provide this service for you. Initially we were leaning to the big box stores because the likelihood of them being around to follow through on a warranty call if need is the greatest. And, as much as we'd have liked to be able to support a one/two person local general contractor and keep the money in the community, neither could provide the warranty that a certified roofer can do. Both the local roofing professionals beat the price of the big box guys and were able to provide unbeatable warranties (50 year non-prorated...then pro-rated after that...and TRANSFERRABLE, so should be decide to leave the warranty will pass along to the new buyer...which, I hope, if all other things being relatively equal, might be the factor to have them bid on our home). But, in closing, I'm really glad we went with Pyramid Roofing. Great product. Great price. But most of all GREAT PEOPLE ! ! !

After contacting other roofing contractors and getting nowhere?.no return calls, no show appointments, higher than expected estimates, etc. we decided to become Angie?s List members to find a good, quality contractor. After reading through the numerous good reviews on Pyramid Roofing, we decided to give them a try. Picking a contractor can be stressful, however, we were impressed from first contact. Not only did Shawn return my call almost immediately, but met with us the following day (and was so punctual, he was at the site before us). He gave us a written estimate on site along with all the literature on the materials that would be used. My husband and I went home and discussed Pyramid Roofing and Shawn and were in total agreement, that we were impressed by our initial contact with them. We called Shawn to tell him that we were ready to sign the estimate and he said it would be about 5 weeks before he could get to us?we were ok with that and hoped it would be done before winter set in. In the meantime, I called Shawn and requested a certificate of insurance and within the hour I had one emailed to me from his agent. That is super service! We had no need to worry about the roof being done before winter. Shawn called right on schedule about 5 weeks after or initial meeting and said the material would be delivered and the work should take 1-2 days. After work, on the first day, my husband and I drove to our rental property to see how things were progressing only to discover that there were 5 guys on the roof and they were just finishing up the job and one guy on the ground running the magnet all over the yard picking up stray roofing nails! We were totally IMPRESSED! What a fantastic job they did too!! Very clean and professional job!! We may be in the market for a new roof on our own personal home in the next few years and you can bet, we will definitely be calling Pyramid Roofing as our first and only choice in contractors! I wanted to wait for it to rain a couple of times before writing this review. I just climbed down from the attic. I cannot find any leaks or problems at all. I would definitely use Shawn again.

All communication from Shawn was excellent, The work was done on the dates that were projected to us (and the work was done a lot faster than we expected - only 2 days!). The crew got right to work when they showed up and worked until the sun went down. The first day we already had one new skylight and half of the roof. They were a great group of guys, they were respectful, we have a toddler and did not have to worry about nails or debris around. When they found a few small issues, they reported them to us immediately so that we could discuss what to do next. We had called other roofers and received additional quotes, they were the most competitive with the best warranty that we received (with the highest Angie review). Very happy with the work and what was done, would absolutely recommend.

I received a comprehensive review and estimate of the needed work. There were no surprises. As other reviews have noted, Shawn's crew members work very hard and do a very good job. Very good clean up following the job. I'm pretty sure I won't need their services again myself for awhile - but they are the first I would call!

It went without a hitch. Shawn, the owner was great before the work, and his guys were the hardest working bunch of people I've ever seen? no goofing off, no hanging around leaning on a shovel, just work, work, work in the hot sun 3 stories up. It's obvious they've worked together (and well) for a long time?. size up the situation, create a plan of attack and hop to! They were all pleasant and polite. The roof looks FANTASTIC! It was in a horrible state of decay, after only 10 years since the last new roof was installed, but with shingles that cost IKO a class action lawsuit due to their inferior quality. My new shingles are GAF, and Pyramid is GAF certified? about doubling the warranty on not only the product, but the workmanship. It took 2 days, caused little to no disruption of our daily lives, and they moved EVERYTHING out of harm's way. A concrete fountain, concrete bench, all kinds of heavy stuff, and returned them all to their exact positions after the roof was completed. They lined the decks with rubber mats to prevent any damage to them. I just can't say enough. And they were the least expensive (beat some by thousands) of the 4 roofing companies I got estimates from. I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Great job!! --nina

They did an excellent job. We have used them twice now. They are outstanding on every level.

Overall we were very pleased with the roof and the timeliness and quality work done. The roof was completed in 1 day. We would recommend making sure all agreements are written in the quote, but Shawn does stick to his word even if it's not spelled out in the original quote (just might take a little while to get the "extra" thing done).

Everything went exactly as planned. The entire crew were extremely professional and courteous. They arrived promptly, worked hard, and cleaned up everyday. They took great care to protect the house, shrubs and surrounding lawn. It was very obvious that they were experts at what they do and had worked together as a team for some time. The new roof looks great!

Our roof was 50 years old and sorely needed replacing. We got 3 quotes, and Pyramid gave the best quote for high quality roofing material and labor. Work was done very professionally and in a timely manner. After the roof was replaced, we noticed a small issue for which a worker was sent out to quickly fix. We would definitely recommend this roofing company.

The job was scheduled very promptly once we decided to go with Pyramid. Rain was forecasted for the first scheduled work day, so the crew rescheduled to start the next day; rain again affected the second scheduled work day but the crew was communicative about rescheduling and got back to it as soon as weather allowed. The job took two full days of work; was completed start to finish within 4 days due to interference of rain. Good cleanup. They covered our shrubs and siding before working on the roof so there was no damage to them. The crew was friendly and accommodating. We're very happy with how our new roof looks!

Just great dealing with Shawn

Very punctual and professional. Showed up with 7 guys and the job was done in one day. It was a relatively simple job being one story and an a-line roof.

Shawn called me five minutes after I first posted a contact request on Angie's list. When we met he thoroughly explained the work he was proposing, the materials to be used, safety procedures, and prep and cleanup procedures to protect the house and yard from damage. He also explained that since his entire crew works for him and is trained and certified by the manufacturer (GAF), they can offer a 50 year transferrable warranty, which was a nice bonus. He worked around our schedule and after some weather delays a dumpster showed up one day and Shawn's crew started work the next. They worked hard and were very nice and professional. They responded gladly to questions and requests, and even cleaned up and prepared for painting an area of the soffit that had some dirt and mold from an exhaust fan. After a few more days of rain interrupted the job, they completed the work on a Sunday while we were away (he asked me in advance if we would mind weekend work, which we didn't), and came back a few days later to install the rain diverter. The price was higher than originally estimated due to finding two layers of shingles to be removed and that the lead flashing was not reusable as planned, but the price increase was fair for the additional work that had to be done, and the total cost was competitive with other estimates. The cleanup job was thorough with only one small item of damage (a vinyl post cap on the porch stairway), which was easily rectified with an $8 trip to Home Depot. The roof looks great! We are very pleased with the result.
