I had shopped around in the summer for a roof, and then we decided not to do one. Then, with the October rains, we saw leaks re-appear where ice dams had caused problems for the first time, last winter. We decided that we needed to do it before the winter, but all my previous contacts were booked out. Also, we had delays for financing - really pushing back the start date. I had a lot of concerns about roofing in the cold - how it would affect the shingles and the warranty. I called Pyramid and Shawn said they could fit it in before the end of the year. Though his price was a couple grand higher, we felt it was worth it for the extra ice and water shield, new lead, Snow Country ridge vent, and lifetime warranty. Even after a delay, he held to his promise to complete the job this year. He reassured us over and over again about the timing and process, the quality work of his crew and the extent of his warranty. He took the time to personally respond to my multiple questions, as well as consider options for venting our closet/attic roof - making a last minute change that solved our problem perfectly for that area. We were very fortunate to have this warm early winter, so that they were able to complete it in one week, and without cold temps. Tony and his crew of 4-6 were excellent - personable, professional and polite. They worked hard on a steep slope with 3 layers. They cleaned up each day - raking the ground completely and making sure the areas started were completed or covered. They good heartedly tolerated my intermittent presence and questions and photographing of the process. They responded to my questions with complete explanations of what and why they were doing things. They took care to do an excellent job - looking at all the details. They did a final rake of the entire area and everything went into the dumpster or was taken away. The only thing we needed to clean was inside the emptied attics (due to the wide spaced board sheathing that allowed in debris) which Shawn did tell us they did not do, and seems to be the norm. In the end the roof was transformed. It looks great! The property was raked clean. The venting is working as it should so we now have eve and ridge vents where needed. Most of all, we look forward to a winter without worry! I would definitely recommend Pyramid Roofing for a quality job, on time, on budget, and with great interest in customer satisfaction.

Shawn gave an estimate when promised and was very competitive. The Pyramid Roofing crew was fast, efficient and courteous. They did a great job protecting the grounds around the house and cleaned up thoroughly when done. Roof looks great and should outlast me - I may not have an opportunity to use them again, but I will definitely recommend Pyramid to anyone who needs roofing work!

Not very happy. Shawn had solicited the job heavily and said how great his company is and how his reviews are so good on Angies list. Said he would email a estimate. I never saw the estimate and checked all emails from the time I got onto Angies list. Never found estimate. Finally called him back today to find out where the estimate was. He said he had sent it. I told him I did not get it. He then gave estimate over phone to see if he was in the ballpark of other estimates. This was to see if it was worth sending the estimate over. I told him he was close to other estimates and asked how far out he was booking and he said 5 weeks. Then two minutes later he called me back and said he is too busy for the year and recanted the estimate. Said I could find other people on Angies list and to go with them......WOW! My review was more then accurate and very very far from unfair. Every word was truth and I have nothing to gain. I just hate people that sell themselves for hours to you and then on crunch time tell you they can't help you. Why waste our time. Just tell us in the beginning you don't want the job!

The service was very easy to schedule and there was excellent communication around the date of service. The crew was courteous and worked intensively to finish the job in a single day. Clean up was outstanding. They made several rounds of the house inspecting every potential area to insure that the property was clean. These are extremely hard working guys!

This was the first time I had used Angie's List and after reading the reviews for Pyramid Roofing thought I would give them a try. Best decision I made! Shawn got back to me quickly with a quote and had our job scheduled just as quickly. This company is great to work with and actually made having a roof replaced a pleasant experience. The crew worked very hard during the heat wave that we were having the last week in July. Peter, the foreman of the crew that day, is professional and truly understands what customer service means. Anytime I had a question he would stop what he was doing and answer my question. The crew worked h****** what had to be an uncomfortable day to be on a roof with the heat and humidity. They also took great care of the house and property using tarps to protect the siding of the house and landscaping. There was a leak that had started by the chimney from the old roof and has been taken care of by Pyramid. Every step was explained of how this would no longer be a problem for our new roof going forward. The roof looks great, the overall experience was awesome and would highly recommend Shawn, Peter and the crew at Pyramid Roofing.They truly understand what customer service is all about!

Shawn was very professional during the entire experience. He communicated with me, there was no running around trying to get information, Shawn was very upfront and direct. The people that work for Shawn, WORKED! They did an awesome job on the roof. I walked around while they were replacing the roof, and if I had a question that needed answering, the foreman would stop what he was doing and climb down the ladder to speak with me, meanwhile the other workers continued working. I had a leak from the previous roof, and they fixed that too. The roof looks awesome and the warranty~ lifetime. Where can you find that kind of deal? I will tell you, thru Shawn (pyramid roofing). I recommend him highly! .

It went perfectly. We could not have picked a better company to do our roof. They came in, went right to work, and did a phenomenal job. These guys are experts and the end result proved that well. They even did a great job of cleaning up after they were done! Very professional, very polite. If you are looking for a roofer, this is the company to hire. Never mind giving them an A... Everything went well. The crew installed tarps all around the house to protect our shrubs, flowers and windows while stripping the roof. The first day they stripped off the roof on the front of the house, breezeway and the garage. Then they installed the new roof in these areas. On Tuesday they stripped the back side of the house and installed the new roof. They installed the GAF roof system which includes 9.feet of ice shield, moisture barrier on the rest of the roof, starter shingles, Timberline HD shingles, ridge vent, ridge vent shingles, and metal edging. They cleaned up the entire yard. They did a great job on my roof. Very hard workers.

Shawn was very professional and contacted me within an hour of my initial contact via Angies List. He came to price out the job and had me a quote within 5 days of the initial contact. The quote was detailed and thorough.After receiving 2 other estimates we decided to go with Pyramid. Shawn indicated they were out until the end of July and he would contact us directly when our house was making it to the top of the list. Sure enough, at the end of July Shawn contacted us and said we would be next week. The dumpster was delivered the following Monday, roofing supplies on Tuesday, and after a few days of thunderstorms the crew arrived on Thursday. When I came home from work that night the job was done. I very happy with the work that was done. Shawn answered any and all questions I had, was tru to his word on price and schedule, and the work was done well. I would definitelyrecommend them (and actually already have).

Original plan was shingle removal/replacement, knowing that there may also be underneath issues. Contacted Pyramid L.L.C. (Shawn) for quote. Very personable guy - super easy to talk with. He swung by my house while I was at work and did an initial measure. Provided me with a detailed email quote including description of expected work/warranties/license, and follow-up phone conversation the next day. I had a couple of other quotes done, but Pyramid had the better price and good Angie's list rating, so worked with Pyramid. Chose color of shingles and Shawn lined up his crew and let me know when he might start... really good at keeping me updated. Dumpster and materials were dropped off at my home 2 days before the crew arrived. Crew arrived by 8AM and immediately started. Pete and his guys (5 total) were as personable as Shawn and let me know everything they planned on doing that day. They were very cognizant of all my wife's plants on the deck and around the house.... more so than I usually am. They really made the extended effort to protect what they could with tarps, etc. These guys works their butts off in some of the hottest weather of the year - I do not envy them. All were extremely polite and represented their company well. Hat's off to this particular crew! As expected, I had some underlying rot/water issues that added to material and labor costs and added one more day of work for the crew. As they pulled off the layer of shingles, I was able to personally check out their concerns and Pete detailed what he would need to do to correct it. I did see it coming, so had them make it right. Additional cost for the work done was fair as far as I was concerned. Bottom line - repairs and roof was completed in 2 days. Looks great and a lifetime warranty that is transferable if I sell. We are very pleased with the job done by Pyramid Roofing and Louis the crew foreman. Our home is a large 4 bedroom A-Frame with a 24 ft square garage that required 45 squares to re-roof. Shawn was prompt with his estimate and called us three days prior to the materials being delivered to let us know the job would be started. He let us know up front the job would take two days. We were skeptical that it could be done that quickly. Louis and his crew arrived just after 7 am on the first day and Louis talked over the job with me. Once Louis and I were done the crew dove into the job and did not stop except for a lunch break. At the end of the day Louis again reviewed what had been accomplished and what would be done the second day. A problem with the original estimate had come to light, but Shawn is a stand up guy and we worked out a solution that satisfied everyone. At the end of the second day Louis reviewed the entire project with me. The job was done, the area cleaned and the roof looks great! Louis and his crew are hardworking professionals who obviously take pride in their work and it shows.

Owner Shawn provided prompt professional quoting and scheduling. Foreman Pete and his crew were hard working, thorough, courteous, and showed pride in their work. Job well done.

The communication was great. They came out in one day and replaced my barns roof. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Weather didn't cooperate the first day, but Louis and his crew were there bright and early the next two days. The installers were very respectful and responsive to questions. Care was taken regarding the landscaping and careful clean up when the job was completed. The roof looks great!

Shawn at Pyramid Roofing is great to deal with. We spoke about what I needed done and he was very informative about what he would do. Shawn said I would have a detailed quote by the next day but actually emailed it to me that night. With all his great reviews I figured he would be expensive but Shawn's quote was right on. He is very fair and honest. We agreed on the price and he said it would be 3 to 4 weeks for the work to be performed. 3 weeks later Shawn called to schedule for the following week. That Tuesday the crew showed up on time and Peter the foreman went over every thing that was to be done in detail. They protected everything with tarps and went right to work. The guys didn't stop until the job was completed. Clean up was fantastic not a nail or roofing shingle was left behind. I did a lot of research before choosing Pyramid to replace my roof, I couldn't be happier with them. I will refer them to everyone I know!

They were INCREDIBLE. When I moved into this house fifteen years ago the roof had needed to be replaced. There was haggling over price, it took three days, and eventually the worst of the worst happened: the roofing tiles were defective after only ten years. They curled and chipped, but fortunately there were no leaks. But moss was growing underneath some of them, I found piecse of roof in my garden, and I lived in fear of ice dams. Flash forward to July, 2015. My house is now for sale, with this defective roof totally turning buyers off, causing me to lose several opportunities to sell. Enter PYRAMID ROOFING. In one day they swooped in and took care of business. There was a glitch at the end when one of the existing boards in the roof had split while nailing the roofing tile down. It wasn't discovered until after the work was done and the crew was cleaning up to go home at the end of an intensive day. Their apparent motto was, "we won't leave until you are satisfied with the job." They immediately rectified the situation by replacing the existing roofing board with a new one. This involved lifting up the newly placed roofing tiles and replacing them once the new board was put into place. It was unthinkable to this crew to leave before every detail was attended to, and I was completely satisfied with their work. I was not asked to pay a dime until I was completely satisfied with the job. Not a shrub was damaged, the yard looked immaculate when they left, and I sold my house the VERY NEXT DAY. It doesn't get better than that.

Shawn was very quick on getting me a quote, was always professional and returned any calls I made quickly. His crew were all really nice guys and were great with my 4 curious boys and 2 dogs. They put tarps down to cover my deck out back and the bushes out front. They did an excellent clean up job. They completed my roof in one day.

the crew did an excellent job and found some poor quality work done by the original builder which added additional materials and labor to the originally quoted price but that was fine as we wanted a sound weather proof structure. They were professional and very hard working and not a single profanity throughout the job which was appreciated. Highly recommended. All round they were fantastic to deal with.

I received 5 different quotes from roofers and Pyramid's quote was competitive with the others. (Some of the other quotes were outrageous!) From the very beginning, the owner, Shawn Schwotzer, was responsible and true to his word. We signed the contract a few months in advance and then he told me what day he would have the dumpster and materials delivered. When that day rolled around, the crew, dumpster and supplies were there! He always kept me informed. When rain was in the forecast, he would call me and tell me how the schedule would be adjusted, etc. Once the job started, the crew was prompt and professional, working long hours to finish the roof in a timely manner. The house is about 3000 square foot and I think the job only took about 3 days. They moved patio furniture that was in the way and cleaned up every evening. They communicated respectfully and worked hard. You won't see Pyramid taking endless breaks or talking on their cell phones all day! They worked hard! Also, they used a huge magnet to pick up any nails which made a difference with clean up. The new roof is beautiful and adds to our curb appeal. I am (almost) looking forward to winter so I won't have any ice damns! Let's face it, getting a new roof is kind of a drag. It's a lot of money and not fun or exciting like buying a new kitchen. But it's something we all need (to protect that new kitchen!). So get it done quickly and with as little pain as possible by calling Pyramid. You will not be disappointed. .

Crew arrived promptly in the morning and never stopped working until job was complete. Whole roof was redone in one day! They were courteous, efficient, and cleaned up everything after finishing. We were extremely happy with the entire process from estimate to completion. Quality materials were used. Communication was excellent at every stage. Highly recommend Pyramid Roofing.

Shawn and team were excellent!!! We would hire them again in a heartbeat. From the time we got their contact information off of AngiesList to the time job was done, it was a positive experience every step of the way. The job was quoted to take 3 days and it did. The crew showed up every morning right at 7:00am and put in a hard days worked. They also took great care to protect all of my landscaping and every night they picked up the yard of all debris and equipment. We ran into a couple of problem spots around the chimneys and the foreman was quick to explain the situation and how to rectify it. We were informed of the additional expense ahead of the work being done. At the last minute, we added some additional work to the job (shed roofing) and they were very quick to accommodate. When you spend significant money on a home improvement project, not only do you want the job to be done right but you also want the experience to be positive. We got both! Thanks Sean and team.
