I was so happy with the installation of 6 windows back during the summer I called Mel Martin Windows to come out and install 4 more Harvey windows. It was bitter cold when they came out. The installer made sure he kept each room closed while he worked within and he was meticulous in his installation and the clean up. The quoted price for premium windows was well within my budget and we noticed a difference right away. The whole house feels much warmer and less drafty. The installer actually pointed out the existing window frames had some shoddy workmanship and he fixed same even though the work had nothing to do with the replacement window installation. I would highly recommend Mel Martin Windows and Doors. Great prices and craftsmanship installation!

Mel Martin and his son Craig are very professional and very polite at the same time. Mel kept up with his appointments and kept us posted with the progress on our order for the windows. His son Craig, who installed the windows was very prompt and very diligent. Pleasure doing business with them.

It went great. Mel was very responsive in getting back to us and his prices were very competitive. They did a wonderful fob installing the new windows and cleaning up. We were very happy.

He was fantastic. Everything was great. He did a fantastic job and came in with a great price. He did exactly what we had hoped he would do. It took a little bit longer than what we had expected because of the weather, but we had an agreement that we knew he would take care of us once the rainy weather turned around. That was the only unexpected drawback, not fault of Mel's but we had the flexibility to roll with it. The window was a very large half moon mullion window. We will absolutely use them again; we already have stuff lined up.

We purchased the big deal coupon for this service and it turned out very good. They came out and presented us first, and we were very impressed with it. They cleaned up all the mess behind them. They did a very professional job and we were very satisfied. We don’t have anything negative about them. The positive part of it we guess was, if we ever needed windows again, we would go back to the same contractor. We had to wait for the windows to come in. We purchased the deal for $1499, but we think it ended up being just over $6000 because we went over and above that.

Installed 4 new windows. Extremely professional, will be use again in the future for upcoming projects.

He worked a full day and completed the work to my satisfaction and did a very good job of clean up.

Our house is from 1978, with original siding. We have been thinking about residing the house, and got quotes. We are saving money to do this work. In the meantime, I thought it would help reattaching the house siding, and sailing windows. After purchasing the deal from Angie's List the provider came to do the work, but concluded that he would do more damage trying to fix the siding. The old wood might split creating additional problems. The windows are also original, and he mentioned the type of windows cannot be sealed. He said I should contact Angie's List for a refund, since no work was done. He is available if you need contacting him. Regards.

Mel was very flexible in scheduling our appointment, which was greatly appreciated. He met with my husband while I was out. Mel located issues that we didn't know about: our windows had never been properly sealed by whoever had installed them. He fixed that issue promptly. He performed a very detailed inspection of our siding, and was able to set our minds at ease regarding a strange deformity in our siding. What was most refreshing was that Mel didn't try to force any kind of upsell while he was at our house for this minor service. He provided us with additional estimates as we had requested (which seemed to be very reasonable prices), with each item outlined in detail as a separate cost. There was no artificial urgency or hard sell -- just the information we needed, a fair estimate, and a skilled assessment of what needed to be done in order to fix problems in the longer term. Mel's assessment was honest and reassuring. Mel set our minds at ease that we didn't need a whole new siding package: our damaged siding turns out to be a cosmetic, non-urgent issue. Mel will certainly be our first choice when we have a chance to replace our windows or siding.

Communications at times via email not seen, but very courteous and responsive to all needs. Mel arrived w/his son (the team) and started on the new construction window and completed it the first day. had to go to work and was not there for the entire operation. Son completed the rest of the work on following days. This was a little surprising as Mel mentioned at first meeting that he does all the work and his son helps him. I have a less fortunate friend who is struggling financially and wanted to replace a couple of her windows with mine that were perfectly good rather than discarding them. He agreed to do that for me free of charge and his son had the pleasure of fulfilling that request. The son did excellent work and I am confident the work will last a long time. My windows need to be replaced w/maintenance free windows as requirement of the condo association. Project went well and the finished job looks great. I would definitely use Mel again.

He was offering an inferior door to the one I got. So, I did not use him. He was a little Frenchman, and I was hoping to go with him because I am also French-Canadian, but he offered an all-side window. He said something to the effect that if the window pane should sweat, it is covered, and I was not impressed with that because I did not expect the window panes to sweat. First off all it was an all-side window versus the Harvey door. I knew the Harvey door was better than the all-side window. I think it is the kind of door actually that made my decision and not necessarily whether he was professional or has the lowest bid. My impression of his company was good, although, he did not call me back when he was going to.

I called Mel Martin Windows LLC and Mr. Martin came to my home and took measurements and gave me a verbal quote for Harvey replacement windows. I discussed it with my wife and called Mr. Martin and told him we were good to go. He told me he would not order the windows until he brought a sample out for me and my wife to look at as he wanted to make sure we knew exactly what we were buying. I was quite pleased with his professionalism. I took time off from work to be home during the installation. The installer was extremely meticulous, careful and precise. I am a quality man over price and was very pleased with the installation. Each window was well insulated and sealed. He cleaned the windows to crystal clear and cleaned up everything after the installation. He even replaced a portion of one sill that had a rotted spot on it. He replaced the portion with PVC and did not charge me anything extra. My wife made the comment that Mr. Martin is the only contractor she has seen come to our home and remove his shoes! He won her over right there. Based on a great price and a great installation, I will highly recommend Mel Martin Windows & Doors LLC to anyone and I will be calling him back for more windows and doors.

I was totally satisfied with the job. The installer was very professional and knowledgeable. He was there on time and did not disrupt our day to day activities. He was polite and personable. He left the house cleaner than it was when he arrived. I would highly recommend this company.

Mel's son did a great job. He took his time and did a high quality job. It's always good to have someone that doesn't rush, especially since it was a Saturday morning. He cleaned up everything and was careful not to damage anything. I love the window. I would highly recommend them. Thank you.

Every aspect of our interaction with Mel met or exceeded our expectations. When we contacted him, he promptly scheduled an appointment to come to our house to provide an estimate. He prepared the estimate on the spot. His cost estimate was neither the most expensive nor the least expensive of the proposals we considered. (In fact, the costs on the proposals were not far apart.) We felt that his proposal provided the best value for the money we would be spending. We notified Mel that he was the winning bid, and he promptly scheduled a meeting with us to take exact measurements so he could order the windows. As always, Mel came when he said he would, quickly took the measurements, then placed the order. The factory required a few days more than originally estimated to complete our order. Mel kept us informed at every step. When the windows were ready, Mel called to schedule an appointment for our installation. Mel and his crew arrived exactly on time on the appointed day. Mel finished the work in two days, exactly as he had promised. The new windows look fantastic, and both rooms with the new windows have been noticeably warmer this winter because of the extra insulation. After the installation, we noticed a small crack in one of the new windows, so we called Mel. Getting the cracked window replaced was no problem at all: Mel ordered up the replacement, made an appointment with us to install it, and everything was fixed - no muss, no fuss. We were absolutely thrilled with our interaction with Mel Martin Windows. We will absolutely use him again if we need new windows, and we give him our unconditional recommendation.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience!! We used Mel YEARS ago to replace our home's windows with vinyl windows. He did a great job then, and we were excited to learn he does so much more (and just as well!!) This job started with a very thorough estimate, and ended in beautiful work. He started when promised, and finished in a very timely manner. Mel and his son are consumate professionals. Note - we solicited quite a few estimates for this work, which was necessary because our original contractor (One Big Ape Construction - Charles Sargent - DO NOT HIRE!!) disappeared mid-job. Many of the contractors we sought estimates from complained about stepping in to finish other people's work - I get that, but they were just not professional about it. You either are willing to take the job and make it work, or not. Mel didn't balk at all, and you'd never know that he faced any challenges left by the first bozo. His estimate was right in the middle of the range we got. Mel's work is beautiful and hopefully will soon allow us to forget about all the headaches with the original contractor and subsequent estimates.

I took an appointment to have the actual install done. I called them and he called me back after two days after and I made an appointment for the next day. He came down and showed me everything and went over everything and gave me a quote. He basically beat another person I had a quote from, Home Depot, by over $2000. So far, everything is fine and we just waiting for the actual products to show up. He said it would take about two weeks. I gave him the deposit and I have to call him tomorrow to book a time when he can do the job. The only thing I asked was if he was able to do it at the weekend but he said he cannot because he is already booked up.

I'm probably going to go with Mel Martin Windows and I'm just waiting for a call back from him. He was very prompt in meeting with me and everything. I thought he did a great job. He seems professional and competent. He seemed to know his business pretty well. He seems really knowledgeable about his product and he gave me a list of references and all of those people were happy with the product and happy with the work. I called him back and I'm going to use him.

Mel and his son were a very focused team. Both were very experienced in their work, very efficient and very neat and tidy. I was very efficient with the results.
