Description of Work: I first met Chris when he came in to perform a furnace tune-up, purchased through Angie's List. While the system was still working, both it and my central a/c were original to my 30-year-old condo. I worried that either would "die" at any time, leaving me without heating or a/c, at the mercy of whomever I could get in for an emergency replacement. I had a vague idea of what it would cost when I had to replace the entire system and asked Chris for a quote. His price was so far below what I expected that I scheduled the service. Chris and Pat were on time, professional, and when I had issues, were quickly available. Chris gave me an amazing price to replace my thermostat and now everything is working great.

I actually went above and beyond for this customer. I do not understand the B rating. I had my usual ladder for attics, but he had his small opening extended do to blown in insulation. When the hatch was opened, the insulation went every where. I cleaned the insulation and thought I got it all but must have missed some. I also cleaned out his condenser which had a huge mouse nest, along with a mouse still fried to his compacitor. I understand that some people are hard to please and can only hope my A ratings out weigh this rating. Thank you for reading my reviews, Chris.

He was FABULOUS. I'm a single woman who puchased my house with an ex, and now am managing it by myself. I had a tenant rip the thermostat off the wall earlier in the year but just discovered the damage. I called at 5:00 pm because my heat wasn't working. I had already purchased and installed a new thermostat thinking that was the problem. I could not get the heat to turn on and the house was frigid. He was over here within 20 minutes. He was polite, professional and speedy. He got the thermostat hooked up correctly and did my annual servicing. I can't say enough great things. I will definitely be using him and only him going forward. :) Thanks so much!

He was very professional and came on time. He was in the neighborhood so came down the same day I called him. I am very happy with the fix and will recommend him to others as well.
Description of Work: The plumber did three things: 1. Replaced the broken connector joint between the two copper pipes that send hot water to the fan that is used for heating garage. 2. Replaced the tap with newer shutoff to avoid water leak in the tap. 3. Drained the air out of the hot water copper pipes so that heating system works effectively after the fix.

I had another company before A. williams Mech to check my heating system , and they try to get me into pricey repairs / about 3.5 thousands dol/ or even change the whole system / for 9 thousands/ , but Chris checked it and said that the system is in good overall shape , just need expansion tank and valve which he istalled for 175 dol and I am good for a winter . Chris was very profesional and punctual . Explain the details of my heating system and what I might need in the future . I would recomend Him to everybody and I know who I will use in the future for any plumbing and heating needs .
Description of Work: After tunning my heating system up for winter it came up that I need to replace expansion tank and valve . Chris set up the date and did the job.

Chris called in advance as he was getting close. He was on the early end of his stated time frame and wanted to make sure I was around. He was not only very professional in his work, but was more than pleasant to interact with as he described the ways that I could maintain the furnace. He was efficient and made sure that I was satisfied with the job when completed. I would recommend him to anyone.

Chris arrived on time, and after reviewing the problems, got to work. He was efficient and had ideas about what needed done. He had to get some parts , was back in a very timely manner. Chris stayed late to finish the job, which I appreciated, and left things pretty neat when he completed his work. The bill was reasonable, and I definitely use him and the company again.

I was impressed by his willingness to go the extra mile for a customer. He didn't make excuses for the problem; he just came back and fixed it. I definitely would recommend him. Any further plumbing problems, I intend to call Chris.
Description of Work: I took the 2-hours plumbing offer for $99. I asked Chris to replace all the fixtures in the tank of 3 toilets. I also purchased a new faucet that I wanted him to install. He replaced the fixtures in the tanks, but when he came to a pedestal sink to change the faucet, he noticed a crack in the porcelain. He called me to let me know of the crack and his concern. He immediately offered to pick up another sink if I could go on line and choose what I wanted. I did exactly that but there wasn't a pedestal sink I liked so I found a 30" vanity with the white sink included. He went to Home Depot and purchased the vanity plus he had to purchase a different faucet because the one I bought wouldn't fit the sink on that vanity. His skills really showed because replacing a pedestal with a cabinet required him to do some carpentry and adjusting it to fit the baseboard heating system. He did an excellent job, and the cabinet & vanity looked really nice. He worked over 5 hours total. A few days latter, I started experiencing problems with the toilet not emptying when flushed. I tried holding the handle down for a longer time but this didn't change the problem. I also experienced a problem with the drain lift in the sink. I went to pull it up and it came off in my hand. I called Chris and he said he would come and take care of the problems. The next day he arrived and did just that.

He brought the duct work through the frame underneath the new edition for the heating and cooling of the new edition. He stuck to the estimate even though he had to go through additional inches of wood and kept to the same price. We would consider using his services in the future if needed.
