 + -1 moreThey went out of their way to complete the work on the same day they quoted the job, even though they were short man power. They were pleasant, did a good job, and cleaned up after. They were late for the quote, but called to let me know they were on the way. I thought the price was fair, but had no other quotes to compare. I was happy with the work and would call them again.
Description of Work: Did work to add outside flood lights and switches, add a whole house surge protector, add an outlet in the garage, repair wired smoke detectors that had no power (which was a problem that was difficult to solve), and repair an outlet.

 + -1 moreAfter waiting around for Home Depot and their subcontractors for over 6 weeks, I ditched them and called Nusbaum on the advice of a friend. I talked directly with the owner, Ted, on the phone, he gave me a quote and I agreed immediately. He was out the next day with a generator and 2 great workers got started. I still had to subcontract the tank install and trench for the pipe line, but Nusbaum was back as soon as it was done to finish the wiring, fire it up and make sure everything was working smoothly. They are top notch professionals and I urge anyone to give them a call.
Description of Work: Installed whole-house back-up generator, custom electric panel and hardwired everything to main house electric.

 + -1 moreI have used these folks for years. They are prompt, responsive and respectful of my home when they come in to do work. They've added undercabinet lighting, chandeliers, recessed lighting, done general electrical repairs (malfunctioning lamp posts) and installed a generator for me. All work is of very high quality and they are always right on with their estimates. They one of very few contractors who actually deliver on exactly what they promise which is why I keep calling them. I wouldn't say they're the cheapest contractor I've worked with, but I'm willing to pay a bit more for reliably good service.

They showed up right away (3 guys) and everything went smoothly. After the installation they took the time to test out my generator & explain how everything worked. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: Installed a transfer switch ( 10 circuits) & outlet for a generator hook-up.Labeled all circuits, picked up permit at town hall, fired up my generator & explained how everything worked.
