He had it done in no time at all and the results were spectacular. He gave my home great curb appeal.

I called Pierre Garand when I had water come in to one of the bedrooms. He responded quickly, came to see the damage and talked to me about what type of roofing tiles I wanted. I wanted the chimney cap replaced, too. When he started the job he found that a pervious owner had placed tiles over the original tiles. I asked him to remove them all and tile the roof. Pierre found the ridge vent had not been installed properly and he fixed the issue.

Awesome ! They were friendly and trustworthy and very respectful of our home and our schedules. Peace of Mind's communication is OUTSTANDING. I knew what was happening and why it was happening at all times...they explained everything and always took time to make sure we understood and were pleased. We did run into a glitch with the cabinets and if it wasn't for Pierre catching the mistake (our designer - not his)made on measuring - we would have cabinets that didn't fit ! He caught this and took care of communicating with our designer to change the cabinet order ! They cleaned up the work areas everyday so I never felt like we were walking through a construction zone. When I had to make a decision and couldn't find what I needed - Pierre Garand went above and beyond helping me narrow down my choices and going with me to the various stores. cannot say enough ! They were great and I'm already working on our bathroom renovation with them as well !

Not well. Contacted Peace of Mind on March 19th Pierre came out to view the work to be done on March 25th. He promised to provide a quote the followinf week but despite several emails and calls as of today August 28th no quote has been provided.

Pierre and his crew (Frank and Richard) are our local Holmes on homes - (a contractor on TV that corrects any and all problems he comes across when correcting what another contractor has done). Pierre and his employees take great pride in their work.. He made our outdated, blah kitchen our dream kitchen. Each step of construction was explained and reviewed. If there were problems, and there were some that could not be anticipated the problem was explained and the solution provided. Each job that was performed was completed correctly. Unlike previous contractors we've used. His job completion was timely and his work impeccable. We have a small dog that thinks anything on the floor is edible. Which was a huge concern for us. Each and every day the work area was cleaned of all debris and his tools and materials stacked neatly out of our way. Pierre's contractors for plumbing, heating and ventilation were all professionals as well. When our kitchen was complete he had a lovely lady come in and clean our kitchen. Just another testament to Pierre's desire to do the right thing. Would we use Peace of Mind Home Improvement again? YES! Would we recommend Pierre Garand and his crew to friends and family? ABSOLUTELY! He is a gem in a field of thieves. His integrity and respect for others is phenomenal. He's actually going to refinish our hardwood floors and do some other projects in the Fall.

From the very first meeting in March, Pierre Garand of Peace of Mind, was personable and extremely attentive to my needs. After I explained what I wanted and the timeframe he got to work. Construction began in May with the garage which went on schedule. As construction got underway for the apartment, Pierre kept me informed of what was going on, step by step. I was very impressed with his attention to detail and also taking the time with me picking out lighting fixtures, appliances, cabinets and such. Pierre was on site everyday working long days in order to complete this huge project on time. The entire process took four months and I could not be more pleased with the end result. I would definitely recommend Pierre Garand for any construction big or small because he is the real deal.

I first contacted Pierre Garrand on August 4th requesting an estimate on work we needed done in our home. I believe he came out to the house August 25th. I emailed him in the evening on August 26th with information and pictures of the tile and granite we were interested in. With several phone calls, texts, and emails, we have yet to hear from Pierre Garrand with an estimate for the work we need done. My last text to him was on September 11th. My last email to him was on September 12th requesting an estimate. It is now October 12th and no response!

When we originally contacted Pierre, his summer schedule was pretty full and we were going to put the remodel off until the fall. We are a military family and received notice that we had to move within three months. We contacted Pierre with our situation and he did everything he could to fit us in so that we could get our home on the market in time. We are very pleased with our kitchen and there is no doubt that everything was completed properly. We highly recommend Peace of Mind Home Improvements, their work is professional and price reasonable. If we weren't moving we would use them for all of our future home improvements as well.

It went very well. I suspected there was moisture under the floor and was very interested in protecting my investment and updating the bathroom which was very dated. I chose to keep the tub enclosure and sink. I asked Pierre to make all the decisions regarding the color and design. He has an impeccable eye and everything he puts his hand to come out beautifully;. he knows techniques that you do not find in design magazines. He replaced the fixtures on the sink to complement the décor lights, medicine cabinet. Pierre used a gorgeous color on the walls and had a custom made shade for the moldings and wainscoting. He found towel racks that matched the fixtures and medicine cabinet. It is gorgeous! The rotted sub floor and spongy drywall caused a little more expense and time for the job. I appreciate that Pierre dealt with it instead of simply covering the spongy drywall with paint. I trust him to do a good job and advise me of anything I need to know rather than just do a remodel and be done with it.

Having suddenly been in a position that I had to use a wheelchair, I needed a ramp built within a very tight deadline in order to be able to get to an important appointment. Peace of Mind Home Improvement was at the site when they said they would be, completed the ramp in a very short period and conducted their business in a very professional manner. The ramp is very sturdy and is within all required building codes. They gave me an exceptionally low cost due to my situation and completed the site clean up thoroughly and in a timely manner. They were a pleasure to have at my home!

Pierre and his guys were at my house first thing in the morning the day after I called him about ice dams/leaks on my roof. They cleared off all the snow from my my house, mudroom and garage and removed the ice dams from the affected area. They did a fabulous job cleaning up the snow from our walkway, driveway, patio and deck once they were done on the roof; I didn't have to do any clean up once they left. Pierre even called after it snowed and rained again the following day to make sure we didn't have any additional leaking. Will (and have) used Peace of Mind Home Improvements again in the future.

I have the biggest, most beautiful carport that was ever built! Pierre Garand, owner of Peace of Mind Home Improvements gave me everything I wanted and some things I hadn't thought of. He built the carport with one wall so that snow doesn't come in to the carport from the side. He went far enough beyond the side door and steps so that I do not have to clean snow from the steps. What I hadn't thought of was making it a beautiful structure AND he built it so that it can easily be turned into a garage in the future. It adds to the value and appearance of my home and keeps raindrops from falling on my head. I LOVE it!

We were very pleased with the work completed, they were punctual and professional. We have had some bad experiences with other contractors and this was a much better experience. We will be contacting Pierre for all future home improvement needs!

Pierre and his team did excellent work, and worked well with us through the inevitable changes and unexpected issues that arise in a project like this. We are pleased with the overall result, recommend him and would work with him again.

I stayed in the house...he brought a ladder, shoveled the snow from the roof and asked to use the snowblower so they could remove the snow from the pathway and also widen the driveway. It was finished very quickly and timely, as more snow is forecasted for the weekend.

Pierre was very professional and meticulous about his work. We would highly recommend him as he has strong attention to detail and perfection but at the same time his pricing was reasonable.

It went very well. Pierre identified the issues with the soffits, dealt with the siding contractor and replaced all my windows. I helped me choose honeycomb shades for the windows in the bow window and installed them. That room gets a tremendous amount of sunand I wanted shades against the sun that were attractive.

IIt went very well. I rented a pod to hold all furniture as my house is a small ranch. Pierre has great attention to detail. I asked him to choose the colors. He showed me some samples and showed me how to find a color that would complement the furniture and rug I have. People who come into my house always comment on the color and have asked what it is so they can use it in their own houses. I got a great result from Peace of Mind. An elderly friend who was a finish carpenter sometimes visits. He was blown away by the quality of Pierre's work, specifically the crown moulding. Pierre advised me on how to increase the value of my home and have a beautiful space and that's exactly what I got.
