Dave did a very good job of explaining the process and left me with a solid understanding of the prep and finish work. They were the middle bid received of five that I had quote. They arrived @ 1:00 PM and completed 95% of all the prep work day 1. On day 2, they asked if I was satisfied with the prep work and I indicated that I felt that the back walkway (pre-paving) was too high and would result in water gathering on my brick walkway due to the mismatch in heights. They quickly brought the height down and blended the two surfaces together well (post paving). All edging was tamped and the interface to the garages and street was well done. Pitch of the driveway to allow water run-off was also done perfectly as my wife commented that "there was not any puddles after a significant rain that we had." I would strongly recommend American Asphalt for overall customer service and value.

Could not believe they removed the old driveway and poured the new asphalt in one day (almost 2400 sq ft). We have had many positive comments on how nice the new driveway looks.

Dave came out and reviewed the driveway at the appointed time. He gave me several options and discussed the pros/cons each option. It was not a high pressure sale for one particular repair. We opted for the low cost option and it was completed on time and with great quality. We could not be happier.

Excellent quality of work at a very good price. Occasionally communication was delayed, took multiple days for a returned call. Cleanup was below expectations (piles of torn up grass left behind, asphalt rocks littered grass surrounding driveway) but I would still highly recommend this company for others.

We hired this company to replace our driveway and install a walkway to our front door. The work was done very professionally and timely. They began at 7:30 in the morning and the entire project was completed by 5:00. We are very happy with the price as well as the finished product.

Robert, the owner, and his team worked very efficiently and did a very nice job resurfacing my driveway. I had a small drainage problem with the original driveway that they tried to fix using my suggestions. However, I later found that the fix created a new problem - puddles that wouldn't drain. We called Robert and he came back with his men and filled the low areas with additional asphalt at no cost to me saying he wanted me to be a happy customer. I am and would certainly recommend American Asphalt

Done quickly - 5 hours

I hired this company to extend my driveway and rob(owner) talked me into paving the whole driveway so that it would look good without any seems etc.They came and completed the job on the scheduled day and time.Had minor issues which Rob came back and took care in spite of him being hurt in an accident.I would like to thank Rob for his professionalism and for following up and taking care of minor issues we had.I would recommend anyone to this company as their rates are very reasonable and they work with you to get what you want.
