Great experience

It came out great! I feel like I have a new bathroom! Carlos gave me same helpful tips on care and products to keep it looking new. I was very pleased with the outcome, and with professionals who gave the estimate and performed the actual service.

Their attention to detail was very high. They did a nice job preparing the existing fiberglass surface for refinishing, including cleaning the surface, filling holes/gaps and repairing scratches. They treated and repaired the base of the tub that had gotten waterlogged because we use to keep a mat on the surface. The end product looked great. They turned my ugly blue 1970's fiberglass shower into a modern, clean white surface.

I received recommendation from Angie's List and figured I'd give them a shot. Received an estimate in November, 2012 but my renovations didn't start till January, 2013. I was doing the renovations myself. I only needed them to paint the tub and shower surround. Once renovations started, the plans changed. I called MM and explained the change. No problem. They gave me an estimate over the phone. I explained that it was a bit over my budget and she asked what I was willing to pay. After checking with her boss (I guess), they agreed to my price and 2 days later, the work was done. Ron arrived and immediately got to work. He was courteous and friendly. Temp outside was about "zero" that day. He prepped the tub. Covered all other areas of the bathroom with dropcloths to protect from overspray. He set up an exhaust fan for fumes. (I don't recommend below freezing days to do this work. The place got very cold but not his fault.) After the job was done, Ron cleaned everything up and I am very happy with the results. The tub looks great and if the 5 year warranty holds up, I'll be very happy. So except for the strong odor and the cold weather (beyond their control), I'd recommend Miracle Method.

He did an excellent job and kept me informed about every step of the process over the two days necessary to complete the project. I plan to use this company again in the near future.

Bathrooms look new. Huge improvement. Tile was in good shape but they did patch a few placed and replace a couple tiles. Removed old tile towel bars and toilet paper holders. Job was done in a timely manner and workmen were professional and easy to manage

The owner of Miracle Method arrived one day to give me a free estimate and told me the exact price it would cost to refinish my bathtub to a like new finish. It would be a no surprise price and the work would all be done in one day start to finish. He told me what was required of me beforehand, what the technician would do on the day of service and that his schedule was full and it would be three weeks before his technician could arrive to do the required work. I agreed this was all fair and reasonable. On the day of service the technician failed to mask and cover the fixtures in the bathroom properly resulting in them being covered in an over spray of white that was meant only to go on the bathtub surface. He did not vent the bathroom and the entire house was filled with toxic fumes from the chemicals used. Long runs and drips occurred all over the bathtub surface and when I asked why, his reply was, ?We are not responsible for problems with dust?. Instead of cleaning up properly he simply brushed things aside and said he had a boat to refinish for the weekend and had to hurry home. I contacted the owner and he asked me, if I would like to have the original technician sent out so I could yell at him? I thought this was a rather strange way of handling customer service and wondered why the owner was not the first to come and see the damage. I responded, NO! I was told another technician would come out to inspect things and tell me what could be done to fix things properly at no cost to me. Two weeks later the new tech arrived and told me it would cost me another $100.00 to polish and repair things. I told him the long drips and runs along with the damaged bathtub bottom were not going to disappear with polish, the damaged fixtures were not going to be repaired that way and I was not going to pay to have them correct damage they had done. The tech was obviously annoyed with my attitude and after making multiple trips outside to use his cell phone. He finally returned to say that the work would be redone at no cost to me because he was buying the company and did not want any trouble with Angies List and I should call to schedule it. I called Miracle Method to reschedule and was told I would have to wait almost another month as their schedule was full. I replied this was unacceptable and the owner became quite angry and rude. He told me his convenience was more important then mine and if I had to wait again then that was all there was to it. When I realized his attitude towards customer service was one of non-delivery I decided it was useless to argue. At this point I realized the owner had no concept or care towards the customer beyond taking one?s money. I simply informed the owner that I employed two law firms in New Hampshire and the attorneys would be delighted to help me as it was a simple matter to resolve. Within the hour the owner of Miracle Method decided he would have my bathtub refinished properly a second time free of charge within three days. I would never recommend this company to anyone at anytime.

Miracle Method of Worcester was excellent to work with right from the start. From the time I called to inquire about the services to the completion of the project, they were nothing but professional and friendly. The appointment was set up quickly and they accomodated my schedule so I could arrange to work from home the two days it took to complete the work. Bill was the technician who came and did the actual work. He was friendly and professional. He did a great job and explained exactly what he was doing at each step. He cleaned up everything before leaving and I was very pleased with his work. I highly recommend this company and would be quick to use them again if the need arises.

I called Miracle Method needing to have a an old 70 year old cast iron and porcelain tub refinished asap. They were able to schedule me in within 2 weeks and went over all the details on the phone. I was quoted a price of $450. Carlos showed up on time, was very friendly and professional, and took the time to answer questions and explain how to take care of the new finish. He did a fantastic job on the tub itself. There were a number of scratches in the finish that had collected dirt and grime over the last 70 years and when he completed the job it looked like a brand new tub. The price at the end of the service was the $450 that I had been quoted. I was home working on the house that day, but if you have the option to be out of the house or in a completely different part of the house take it because the smell is a little strong even with a window in the bathroom. Fortunately, the smell was pretty much gone within 24 hours. Overall a good experience and I'm happy with the results. I would use Miracle Method again.

Ted from Miracle Method came and gave an estimate, which seemed like a fair price based on what I had read on Angie's List. Since Ted came well recommended on AL, I booked him for the job. His crew arrived on time and was diligent with the work. The only surprise was that, due to the large size of the job, they needed an extra 1/2 a day to complete it that I was not told about. This was a fantastic and much more economical option for updating our 1960's pink bathroom to a more modern look. The result is somewhere between tile and the faux-tile plastic walls available out there. The grout is painted over also, which has the added benefit of no more mildew! Contractors estimated between $15k-$20k for demo and replacement of the tub and tile. Although there is a strong paint smell during and right after application, it keeps a lot of otherwise fully functional tile and tub out of the landfill. There are some special care instructions once this is done too, but we have been able to easily adapt and enjoy our new bathroom every day.

The repair work was excellent and the overall appearance of the tub is very good. The finish itself is not as smooth or visually appealing as a new fiberglass; there are some small "picks" and some orange-peel areas of the tub. Compared to replacing the unit, though, this was a much better option. The technician was very skillful at protecting areas that should not have been sprayed. Clean-up was impressive.

I was satisfied with their service and will use them again in the future.

Brian was great. We had a super ugly, painted tile tub that now looks brand new. We had some loose tile issues that he remedied beautifully--for not a lot of money. The job came out beautifully.

This company is very very good, from the estimate to that actual service. Their receptionist (Megan) was amazing. She is kind and respectful and so helpful and knowledgable about the process. I had heard mixed reviews about having a tub resurfaced in the first place. Many people had warned me that it would be a waste of money. But I had just had my entire bathroom redone, which made the bathtub look even worse. I did not want to buy a new tub (especially since the bathroom had just been redone and would have to be torn apart again to install a new tub). Plus, the old tub was essentially a good quality, just stained and old. Ted was so helpful when he came to do the estimate. He was a little late due to traffic, but called to let me know. Patrick, the person who actually did the refinishing was very very good. He was respectful and so knowledgable about the product. He even removed his shoes when he came into my house!! The tub looks great - - brand new. There was one tiny drip in the bonding product when the tub and had dried. I called and they came all the way back out to fix it. I did ask them to caulk around the base of the tub, and that could have been done better, but I don't think I was clear about what exactly I wanted. I had to have another service person scrape the excess caulking off the floor so it looked more even. I would be especially clear on what it is I want the next time. All in all, a great decision. There are a few things you can't do with a resurfaced tub (such as use cleanser or wash out hair dye)and you have to be careful of any chipping, but again, all in all, it's great choice. And they do have a 5 year warrenty for some things, so I am quire pleased. From Meghan to Ted to Patrick - - they were a great team.

Beautiful work. All went according to plan. No issues, no problems. One beautiful new-looking bathroom!

They were great about getting a quote to me over the phone. They arrived on time and the work was neat, fast and of high quality. The finisher noticed a plumbing leak, which was great. The end result is just terrific and much cheaper than replacing the unit. I have had tubs refinished before, and this is a much higher quality job than I experienced in the past. They charged me $120 for travel, which seemed a little steep, but it was on the out Cape after all.

We had three estimates and were won over by Maricle method from the get go. They were the only ones who showed up on time. They described the entire process to us and what we needed to do( remove vanity, toilet ect.). They told us it was going to be a two day process. They showed up both days on time. Cleaned up after themselves and were exeptiontly friendly. They cleaned the tile and tub, re grouted where needed the first day, finished prepping the second day and glazed the second half of the second day. The result, perfection. Most people think we had a new tub and tiles installed. it's been several months and it still looks as they day they finished. We were very happy with the product and the service.

I emailed Ted Fisher to find out if Miracle Method covered the Woburn area. He responded promptly and made an appt to come and look at the tub and stove. He spent quite a lot of time explaining the process to us. We were comfortable with the work that would be done as well as the price. Ten days later, Ron Smith arrived on time to start the job. He worked all day and transformed the blue tub into a beautiful white one. It looks new and we are very happy with the results. I did find that the slip resistant bottom was not as affective in one area of the tub. I emailed Ted and he offered to re-do it at no charge. Ron arrived as scheduled and in just a few minutes, applied more of the slip resistant material. The stove looks perfect; no one would ever know that it had been repaired. I would certainly recommend Ted Fisher, Ron Smith and Miracle Method.

I called Miracle Method despite their website saying nobody services our area. The rep on the phone asked some basic questions, gave me a run-down of exactly what the prices were, what the method consists of, and what to expect. I thought it sounded good and the price was in line with what I'd learned to expect from doing my research, so I scheduled a date for the service for a few days later. Troy came out a little earlier than expected, but he patiently waited for us to get a couple things done before surrendering the bathroom. He quickly set up shop and got to work. About halfway through, he asked if there was a store nearby so he could get a drink. I offered him a soda, and he was glad as that would help him from potentially getting lost. Later in the day I went up to install a new shower rod, and after a few minutes understood why he needed that cold drink. The bathroom was sweltering! It was a very hot day. Anyway, when he was finished, he packed up his stuff, gave me a look at the finished product which looked great, and gave me an info sheet for care and maintenance of the new tub surface. It has a built-in non-slip surface, so no more nasty tub mats (yay!), and because Miracle Method doesn't use acid, the process is safer on the pipes (big yay! because this is a very old house!). Troy was very polite and professional, and he did a wonderful job. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them for similar work.

Frank arrived at the specified time, surveyed the damage and we discussed the work to be done. As a result, we agreed that he should do a more extensive repair of the damaged tub bottom than originally anticipated and this resulted in an additional $50.00 charge. Frank worked carefully and did an excellent prep and finish job, The tub looks like new. He was put drop cloths over my living room and hall carpets to protect them and cleaned up well after the work. I am very pleased.

Called on 7/15, Ted Fisher came right out, Frank did the work on 7/21, with 1-year warranty. They were prompt, pleasant, professional and the job looks great. A great relief to me, since the other alternatives were a DIY patch kit or replacing the entire tub/shower enclosure, which would have been many times the cost of this repair.

What can I say, in a matter of seven days, my bathroom looks like it was totally remodeled for a fraction of the cost. It looks fantastic. I still can't stop admiring it. The first thing Phil did was rip out the existing wall near the tub, then insulated it and replaced it with green board and placed new tiles over it. My bathroom is completely tiled (the old color of the tiles were blue & white) and over the course of the second, third and fourth days, Bruce came out and started to clean and prep the walls and tub. After this preparation, he painted the tub (which was blue) white and the ceiling white. After that had to dry for a day, Bruce tiled my bathroom floor with tiles that I purchased from Home Depot. After the floor was dry, Bruce returned and started to paint my wall tiles. I chose fossil for the color. I was impressed too that there wasn't too much of an odor of the paint because Bruce used a big fan vented out of a window and the smell dissipated pretty quickly. The last day, snowstorm and all, Phil returned with Antonio to complete the job. They grouted the tile on the floor, installed a vanity and mirror, mounted the toilet paper holder and towel bar and sink, re-installed the toilet, and cleaned the fan light. In addition, Phil had to shave the bathroom door since the new tile floor was a little higher than the old floor. I really appreciate all that Phil, Bruce and Antonio did to make my bathroom look brand new!! I will definitely recommend Miracle Method of Worcester County to anyone.

Very punctual and professional. The work quality was excellent. We were very pleased and would use the company again.

We contacted our local franchise run by Chris Culcasi in mid August. Someone came over promptly and gave an estimate. We called a week later to schedule a date and were given a date 2 1/2 weeks later on September 15. We requested that we be given some referrals and were told that Chris would send some. We called at least 6 times and always got a message machine but no call back or referrals. Finally on September 12, we left a message telling them not to come on September 15. We then called the Miracle Method head office in Colorado and were told that unless the local franchise agrees, we could not use another franchise in the area (they do have several in MA). Finally after a couple of calls they agreed to let us use the Worcester franchise which we plan to do. However, on September 15 Chris sent the following email to us which we appreciate but wished he had said this 3 weeks earlier: "I understand you contacted the Franchiser. They asked if I would allow the Worcester location to help and I gave them permission. Sorry, we are unwilling to supply references as you requested. We are too busy to hunt down customers from over 2 years ago. Chris"

They did a great job. My bathtub looks good and they were great to work with. I would use them again.
