Ernie called about an hour before the appointment time for clarification of the directions to my address. He offered to start the job early, which worked out perfectly. He showed up, was pleasant and professional, quickly diagnosed the problem and made recommendations. He explained things in easy to understand terms that made sense. I chose the best option for me. There was no pressure to do one thing over another. He completed the job, I wrote the check and we were both went on with the day. Very easy, pleasant experience. The only thing I failed to do was mention the 5% Angie's List customer discount, which was my oversight (which I will not forget when these units need to be replaced!). Regardless, he is on my speed dial for AC and Heating service. Highly recommended!! Thanks!

Cal's did a wonderful job. Everything was done professionally. The outside conduit barely shows. The wiring and piping were neatly done and they even cleaned up after themselves. I have recommended them to friends.

He was prompt, on time, and he did exactly what he said he was going to do. I had no problems with him whatsoever.

Ernie and George came to install the system, they said they would arrive about 8am, around 7:30am I noticed they had arrived and were getting setup outside. Ernie talked to me be and was bothered the last time we spoke about installing the condenser on the front of the house and we found a place on the backside of the house even though it was more work for them to install with the extra piping. Ernie stuck to the original quote even though it was more work than planned. You can tell they take pride in their work and they did a nice job to make the install look clean. The system works great and I look forward to a nice cool home in the summer and a savings on heat in the winter.

I called Cal's Air Conditioning and Heating as my two central a/c units were not working. I called them based on their great ratings on Angies List. It was the first time I have used Cal's but it won't be the last. They were great. Ernie Calderone, the owner, answered my first call and arranged his earliest available appointment. As a first time customer, I was happy they could get me scheduled so soon (only a few days out). Shortly after, Ernie called me and said his schedule was going better than planned and asked if he could come earlier. I happily agreed. Ernie and George arrived and immediately went to work. George on the second floor unit and Ernie on the first floor unit. They promptly found the problems with both units. They showed me the problems, explained what caused them and got both units working. The total bill including re-charging was only $200.00. I will definitely use them again.

Ernie and George were great. Quick return call and easy scheduling. I really appreciated the extra time they took to answer all my questions. I'll defintely use their service again.

It went great! Tenants called on Thursday afternoon saying the heat was out. I called Ernie late that afternoon and he was there at 7:00am the next morning. It was a 30 year old unit with a failed heat exchanger fan. We agreed to replace it for a set price with a new Bryant unit. He and George were on the job Monday at 7:30 am and had it installed and running by 10:30. No muss, no fuss, just a great job at a great price. I was so impressed, I recommended him to my property management company. They also had put in a new Mitsuibishi unit in my son's home the week earlier, I found out. Great guys to work with!

I would call Cal's again in a heart beat. VERY professional; VERY prompt; VERY helpful; VERY nice. It was a pleasure having these workers in our home.

The entire experience from beginning to end was second to none. My request for a quote was answered immediately and the price was very fair. On the day of the install they should up on time and had the work done in a few hours. They even took the time to explain the system and new thermostat. I would and have recommended them to anyone looking for HVAC work to be completed.

The cost almost doubled last year because of the coolant that they have to put in. What I like is he answers his phone and he responds right away, and this is important. I haven't really had any trouble with them. So, I could suggest and I would say just that. The price was high, I didn't expect that and they didn't warn me that it had gone up before they came. I have to know what an average price of somebody to do in the same thing would be. I don't know because I thought it was on the little on the expensive side to what they did.

First, we found Cal's Air Conditioning and Heating on ANGIE'S LIST. My husband called Ernie who responded that he was booked up for a week plus, and urged us to call someone else. After learning of my husband's heart condition, he agreed to be here the next day at noon. Sure enough at 11:30 he came to our door and went right to work. The problem was immediately detected , and fixed within 20 minutes. He advised us to call him prior to next year's cooling season start, so that he can service the A/C before we need it.

Ernie and his coworker were great. Both were professional, knowledgeable and didn't try to up sale me on anything like some of the others who bid the job. Ernie's price was reasonable and he also was responsive to both e-mails and phone calls which I found rare when trying to set something up. I certainly plan on using him again. So far the AC unit is running well and we have no complaints.

Came to Laconia to give and estimate on split air conditioner installation and then had him down to Londonderry to service my central air unit. Both times they were professional and punctual. I would use them again

I had an airconditioner installed two years ago. This system is not central conditioning but it does have a unit outdoors. The original installer did a lousy job and it would not hold a charge. I called Cal's and he gave me an estimate of $1500.00. He had to replace all the lines which were not the right size and was the reason I lost all the coolant. The orignal job looked really cheep. They came in and put duct work on the side of the house to enclose all the wiring and it looks great. It is very clean lines and very neat. They were very professional and was there early and it was even raining and it was a holliday. They are very nice and professional and I would recommend them to all of my family and friends.

It was the 2nd of 3 days in the 90s, so everyone was calling for air conditioning service. One company promised to come out the next night at 6:30, and never called to say they were to busy to come that night. Another very big company, which many locations, couldn't come for 3 days. We had to stay at a motel, it was 90 in the house. Cal's came within hours after I called them, 1:00 the next day. They had finished up a job early and pushed my job to the front. I must have sounded desperate : ) In 15 minutes, he had found the problem, and fixed it and we had air conditioning from that night on. They were awesome guys!!! So nice to deal with as well.

Great work. I would not hesitate to call Cal's again for any HVAC problem or service. Highly recommend.
