Description of Work: I purchased my wonderful Trane two-stage heat pump from Thermal a few years ago. It's a great system and is saving me money in terms of heating/cooling costs. But when they installed it, they drilled a hole in a custom pocket door. It was never repaired and I was never compensated for it. In subsequent years, I had a $150 service contract with them for twice-yearly maintenance, check-ups and filter replacement. Three of the last four times they came, they broke things - the combs that hold the filter in place, a grid, etc. This year, they increased (again) the cost of their service plan - it's now $300 a year. That was too much. I mean, my salary hasn't had these kinds of increases every year; most people's haven't. So why are they raising their rates by such a large percentage each year? And for paying that amount, I get poorly trained guys who break things. So I have not signed another service plan with them. It's far too costly.

Description of Work: Some years ago I needed a new whole house air conditioning unit. Sales persons from other firms wanted to sell me progressively larger units because the upstairs never really cooled down. Staff Flowers himself, the owner at the time came out and analyzed the situation; a larger unit was not needed, but an investment was made in improving circulation. I now use less electricity and get a more comfortable house. I continue to use Thermal Services twice yearly check up and maintenance of furnace and AC.
