A tech came to my mother's house for a reg. a/c check. Told her that there was a part in the furnace that was cracked and leaking oil. She had them (Thermal Heating and Air) come out for an estimate. Young guy showed and after worrying her about carbon monoxide, etc. (because of the "cracked part" he quoted her a cost of $12, 800.00. Of course we didn't go with them. We got the job done for $7,000.00 less the quote above. My Mom asked the installers about the "cracked part". They had no idea what she was talking about. The Thermal guy lied to her. What really gets me is that they were trying to take advantage of an eighty-nine year old woman. They would have glad to have taken her last dollars and thrown her into debt. From now on I will go out of my way to bad-mouth Thermal Heating and Air. I will tell this story over and over again. I hope this revue will save someone else. Kevin Omaha, NE

They replaced a Draft Inducer Motor on my Trane XR95 furnace. The replacement motor was an OEM Fasco BLW01139 that averages about $300. It took them about 90 minutes to complete and they charged me $983.82. Overpriced I will not be using Thermal again.

I purchased and supplied the water heater. Thermal made 3 connections. They removed the heater from the box, hooked up the existing vent and existing unions on the water and gas lines. It took them 2 hours plus two trips and charged me $1400.00

They are a great company with years worth of service to our community.

This review describes my experience with Thermal Services providing a quote for replacing my outdoor condensing unit and indoor evaporator coil. They were responsive and friendly in arranging an appointment, and their evaluation of replacement options was professional and thorough. For those familiar, they even included a manual J load calculation to justify their recommendations. Unfortunately, the overall cost was about double the competition for the same work, and there was no negotiating room. Needless to say, I hired someone else, but I would gladly consider Thermal Services for future work as long as they can be competitive with their pricing.

The installation of the part was sloppy, and possibly not safe, and possibly not up to code. There is a drainage tube touching an electrical box.

The technician was prompt, courteous, and very helpful. He explained what was wrong, showed me the bad part, and replaced it. It was quick and I was back to a cool house in under an hour.

It was really good. Overall, they were very good. The quality was good. They screwed it up, to begin with. Then, they came back and admitted to their problem, and that was the point they admitted it they were very honest and fixed it and did it right. I would use them again because they were very honest.

Amazing!!! When my AC went out, I was calling around. ThermalAire was extremely accommodating to not only give an estimate but also for installation. The two guys that installed were prompt, courteous and professional. They worked hard all day to get the job done. They communicated with me throughout the day on all important facets. Of course, no one likes to shell out money for both units, but they worked with me on discounts as well as financing. They were so wonderful throughout the whole process, that I was very happy I had them install the furnace at the same time. They were very responsive when I had follow up questions. If every vendor I worked with would have the same outstanding service as these guys, it would make contracting so much easier. From the President of the company right through to every one I encountered, they were fantastic!!

Could not have gone better from initial contact to completion of installation. My salesman, Dean Stockton, was knowledgeable, helpful, and very professional. He presented options for a new system at various price points, explaining the advantages and disadvantages of each proposed system. I did not feel pressured or intimidated at any time during this process. I selected a system and the installation took place the very next day. The installation technicians (Nathan and Todd) started at about 8 AM and were done by early afternoon. The installation looks great, very clean and well-executed. They took the time to explain each aspect of the system and how to perform minor maintenance (filter changes, etc.). They also meticulously cleaned up the job site and made sure I was satisfied with all their work. The new system is unbelievably quiet (can barely tell it's operating) and I'm sure I will experience some significant savings in operating costs. If you want the very best, look no further than Thermal Services. They may not be the cheapest place in town, but you get your money's worth and then some. The approximate cost of the service was $15,800.00.

In the middle of a 90+ heat wave, my heat pump stopped working. The company we purchased it from was not going to be able to come out for another 6 days. Called Thermal Services & they were there within 3 hours. The service technician, John Suarez, was polite, professional, got the system running again & did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. He did explain the maintenance program they offer but did not put any pressure on me to purchase. I was extremely pleased with this service & would definitely call them again.

They are heating and air conditioning too but they do plumbing also so we are contracted to them. They did an excellent job. They were very professional as they always are. They cleaned up after themselves which a lot of plumbers don't.

I called the company in the morning, after a sales presentation at my home, they started the installation that afternoon completing the installation in the following morning.

Call received a day in advance to confirm appointment. Technician arrived timely. Was very courteous. Answered all my questions with reguard to heating system, air cleaner and humidifier operation. Provided a detailed heating tune-up checklist upon completion. Could quite possibly have been the most informative technician (Evan) I have ever had in the 35+ years I have had the semi-annual system checks done. Quite satisfied.

I'm really disappointed in myself for not checking around for other HVAC companies before settling on Thermal Services. These guys are so incredibly over priced that it's criminal. Basically what happened was that my evaporator coil was frozen because l was low on Freon. I actually knew this was the problem because my neighbor is a retired HVAC guy. Thermal Services came out, checked the freon and decided it was low. The salesman, I mean serviceman then came to me and said. "We charge $159 for the 1st lb of Freon and then $68 for each additional lb" "We'll see if we even need a 2nd lb". 15 Min later he come back and says "wow that took 5.10 lbs and it looks like you have a leak" "if you want us to find the leak, it will cost $540, I can't do it today" "fixing the leak could cost up to $1500." At that point I asked him to leave. I ended up paying $642 (includes the $99 diagnostic fee) for freon. I'm outraged. Afterwards I decided to call a couple other companies to see what they charge for freon. I was astounded to find that it costs anywhere from $32-$55 per lb. DO NOT GO TO THERMAL SERVICES! I think people go with them because they advertise being there the same day. They will get there the same day but you will end up paying 3x the amount. Do not make the same mistake I did. Call someone else. UPDATE: Spoke to Cody the Manager and he basically told me that we have to charge more to keep our lights on. Wow.

Personnel were professional and courteous. Did a very thorough job with the install and left everything clean and in place. Explained the various functions of the system and how to operate it all.

I called them on a thursday they came the next morning. Water heater was leaking. The technician was good. I had purchased my own water heater. So i just needed the old one disconnected and the new one installed. They hooked the new one up and updated some piping to meet code requirements. I feel it was a good installation. Price may have been a little high but I feel the job was performed correctly. Also purchased a service plan. For $90.

After being told that we had a small crack in the vestibule of the furnace heat exchanger, we were given the option of repair or replace our furnace; we were given an estimate for the repair. But we decided to get an estimate for a new furnace as well. Dean gave us an estimate and explain the work that would be done. We decided to get a new furnace and humidifier. Chuck, Tim and Nathan who installed the new furnace did a good, professional job. Dean, Chuck, Tim and Nathan answered any questions we had. After the work was done, the area was cleaned. We were pleased with the work accomplished. Very professional technicians.

First, the guys that came over to our place were professional and courteous. Dean was the main salesman. The first thing they did was to ask me what I wanted to change in my home in regards to comfort. I appreciated that as they actually cared about the things that I saw as problematic. They listened and gave some suggestions to fix the problems. Suggestions that made sense and were significant changes to increase the comfort of our home. We sat down with them and they gave us a quote. We talked to them the next day and said that we cannot go over our budget. We only pay in cash and had an amount that we could not go over. We compromised and were able to get our price. They had a cancellation the following day and so it was installed two days after meeting with them. They completely redid our air handler venting which was important to us as it was rusted. They installed two new vents and two new air returns. They put in a new heat pump. All was done professionally and I couldn't be happier with their work and our monthly electric bill shows it!!

I've had two different installs at two different properties from Thermal Services. From salespeople to install to followup all the people I've worked with have been highly professional. I can go home at night--summer or winter--and know that I have the best equipment and that it will work well. I'm impressed with how they have installed at the house. All in all two thumbs way up.

I called at 8am, the office said they could be here between 2 & 4pm. I received a phone call at 1:40 explaining that the Tech was on his way! He went to work quickly. Provided me with 4 different options with estimated price points so that I could make an informed decision. Technician was clean, courteous and knowledgable. I appreciated that he would remove his shoes when coming in the house. Only negative I can mention would be the price, it was a little higher than I expected it to be. Overall, great experience and based on the punctuality, quality, and trustworthiness of the tech, I will use them again.

I am not sure about how much they charge me because we have a new heating and cooling system and they just give me a credit for what I have and then they will tell me how much I owe for the next year. I have used them for many years and I am very pleased with them. They are always very professional, very clean and easy to work with. They do what is necessary and there is no pressure to do anything more than necessary.

Very wel,l they diagnosed and fixed the problem right away. I would sure recommend them as they are very honest and professional!!!

I am normally not comfortable with people working in my house. But these guys were so professional, I felt comfortable. It was a large job to take out the existing, very old equipment and replace it with new equipment. They showed up on time, were very clean and professional. We did have an issue with the fuse box which was put on the unit being too small for the over-sized unit we purchased. But that was done by the electrician, who was with a separate company. The electrician will be back out this week to replace the fuse box. I am very happy I chose Thermal Services and would definitely recommend them.

They were here 6 months ago and are due back for another check-up today. They are very professional, responsive and reasonably priced. I am pleased with them.
