They are really wonderful people to work with! We bought a new furnace, a/c and hot water heater from them about a year ago. Their technicians are easy to work with, clean and accommodating.

They've been pretty good and seem to be pretty professional and quite thorough with their inspections. Years ago we purchased a heating and cooling system from them and it's been a pretty good product. By and large I've had a pretty positive experience with them and on occasions when I had a special call they've also been very responsive.

We had Thermal Services complete a Heating System service before Christmas and found out we didn't have a humidifier in our system and our system didn't meet code for grounding. The basic heating system service was well done and after discussing the possibilities with the two personnel sent by Thermal Services, we decided to have a humidifier installed and comply with the grounding code. Mike came out on the 26th and installed the humidifier, it took a couple of hours and grounded the system. After completing the service, Mike took some time to go over the installation and explain how the system worked. Very thorough and appreciated. The system is working fine and Mike's professional approach was appreciated.

Not sure what happened but Angie's List just lost my nice long write-up. Good experience with fall and spring check-ups. They noted several things that I could do myself to improve system performance that prior company hadn't seen or at least mentioned. Interesting experience with service work (more below). They did thorough inspection during fall tune-up and found heat exchanger was beginning to fail. So had them out to replace the heat exchanger (part was still under warranty) and replace part of the exhaust pipe. Showed up outside the time window and also didn't bring the correct parts for the job. Was still able to complete the exchanger replacement without time estimate for the work. We ran into an issue as what I was quoted on the exhaust pipe didn't match with what he had. They did a great job of making sure I was satisfied and honoring the originally quoted amount. The service tech even followed-up a couple of weeks later to make sure that eveything was running properly and to see if I had any additional questions. He gave me his direct cell in case anything else came up. Very happy with workmanship, accountability, and ownership exhibited by Thermal Services.

Very professional tech. Prompt, efficient, and through job. Identified a minor problem with our unit. Quote is a bit high, but I think he erred on the side of caution rather than low balling.

The experience was excellent overall. This was during one of the hottest weeks that we'd had in Omaha in several years, so the temperatures were extremely high and alot of folks were having problems with their units. They were able to schedule us immediately, came out to provide a full diagnostic, and they were able to fix the problem by adding additional Freon to our unit; they really could've asked for more services that needed to be done, but didn't. They answered all questions that I had, and they were great to work with overall.

Was very impressed with their service. The technician from Thermal was very friendly and professional. He was here for quite awhile chasing an abnormality in the furnace burner. Recommended installing a louver door to basement to help furnace airflow, which I did, and really seemed to help the output of the blower. Would call again for annual inspection.

It was excellent. They do a service check and everything looked good except they did need to install a refigerate which they did at that time.

We contacted Thermal Services and four other companies. I had been hoping to have a company explain their equipment and survey my home for proper fit. John (our salesperson) was extremely organized and helpful. He laid out the options and used his computer to show the equipment and explain the requirements for our home. He measured each room and all the windows. I felt he did the most thorough job of evaluating our home for a new heat pump of all the reps we called. The installation team arrived on time and laid down tarps to protect our floors while they worked on the new equipment. They turned the position of our furnace which made a considerable improvement in the space we have in our basement. The ductwork is a precision masterpiece. (no--really-- it is. It is downright pretty) Our new thermostat was expained thoroughly and the new unit responds quickly. We have much better control of the temperature in our home. Thanks to all the folks who worked on our home. We highly recommend Thermal Services.

They come out in the spring and fall to inspect and tune up our system. They do the job, they leave a report on what they did and what may need to be done so you know what's going on. We will definitely continue to use them in the future.

They are wonderful. They are courteous and professional. If you have a problem, they send someone out right away. They make sure you are happy before they leave.

I would go ahead and recommend them to others. I did not have any problems. They were professional.

They were very punctual and were thorough in the explanation of the choices of equipment we could get. They were friendly and trustworthy. We talked to other groups and had high respect for the person we were dealing with. I will use them again in the future.

Had been with another company for over 30 years, but the past four years they have been trying to sell us something expensive everytime we had the annual service done. The air conditioner is only 4 years old. It doesn't need anything. Checked Angie's List and found Thermal Services. Good reputation, thought I would give them a call. Set up appointment for a week later. Todd (service tech) had finished his previous call and wanted to know if he could come over to our house early. He came right over. Very pleasant young man, first thing he said, "how is your air conditioner running?" My answer surprised him, "we keep our house at 65 degrees year round, there is no problem with our air conditioner. " He said, "if you keep it that cold during the summer, you are right, there is NOTHING wrong with your air conditionerl." Nice to hear an honest answer for once. Todd spent about two hours, checking everything on the air conditioner inside and outside. He was very thorough and very knowledgeable. Mark, his supervisor showed up just to see how things were going and stayed the whole time. We signed up for a year contract for the heating and air conditioning. This was a very pleasant experience.

We have a service contract with them. There was nothing wrong with any of the units. They are very punctual and are easy to get a hold of. They do very good work and are very reasonable.

They do a good job, and I would highly recommend them.

I have had good luck with them. My units are under warranty. They charge me only to come out and the repairs are all free. My experience with them has always been good. Once when my air conditioner broke, it was about 100 degrees. They got here the next day. That stands out in my mind. A couple of times the furnace gave out and I called them. They came down within an hour when it was very cold. They got it running for me. Their price is about what everyone else charges.

I had Thermal Services service my furnace this past fall and was pleased with the service and the personnel. So, when I awoke at 5:00 am to a non-functioning furnace and the smell of natural gas, I called the company. I got a live person right away and she dispatched the on-call technician. He was at my house within 30 minutes. It is an old furnace and the diagnostic was confused by a new part that failed out of the box. However, the tech called for backup from someone who has experience with this old model of furnace and they figured out what was going on. They kept me informed about the time, the issues and the cost. I plan to use this company to service the air conditioner this spring and for future repair needs.

I use them all the time. They have done a lot of work for me. I always have a good experience with the technicians. Their technicians are tops. Their installers are just outstanding. The thing I have to work through is that the salespeople are always trying to run up the price as high as they can get. The company will negotiate so it makes it more affordable. I am going to pay more no matter what I have them do but nobody else is going to do it as well. The extra price is worth it. I never go with the initial quote because it is always too high. In most of my experience, except for one time, they have negotiated with me. Their service is the tops. If they do the work, it doesn't have to be redone. They added the plumbing in recent years. It strikes me that they are still trying to get the right company culture instilled in the plumbing side. They made their business on air conditioning and heating. Their culture is a view of excellence from the salesmen down. The installers are different from the salespeople and they don't really seem to have a horse in the race to bid me up. They don't have the same culture on the plumbing side yet and sometimes it is pretty clear that when the plumber comes out, he is trying to find a way to get more business. I never get that from the air conditioning and heating folks. They are all about how to make the system that I have work better instead of trying to get more work in my home. As a company I rate them great and I think their company is tops. I really hate to complain about their plumbing because it is tops but I do find it a little aggravating that when a plumber comes out he is trying to sell me something extra. This is an outstanding company and I will definitely use them again.

The service technician arrived within the specified time frame. He was extremely professional and courteous. He explained everything he was doing. Since he'd never installed this type of thermostat before, another man from the company worked with him. They showed me how to operate the system and explained all of the details. I was very impressed with both men.

I have a maintenance plan with them. They come out during every spring and every fall when needed. In the spring they get the air-conditioner ready, and in the fall they make sure that the furnace is ready. I'm quite satisfied with them.

I've had mixed results. As far as the heating and air conditioning they are great and they have good people. As for the plumbing, I think it is questionable. We had a bad experience with one of their plumbers. I think God that my husband found the plumbing problem. He is a college professor and he found the leak. They are pricey. They do the heating and air conditioning quite well. Their administrative staff calls to say that a serviceperson is on their way but they don't tell us how long it will be. One day they called and it was 45 minutes before they showed up. It was horrible and I let them know how unhappy I was. The man tried but the more he talked, the angrier I go but I don't think it was his fault.
