Description of Work: Paid a membership for 2 years then called for service to discover no techs available for three days.

Description of Work: They are a lot cheaper than most other home warranty services and only have a $75 deductible. They do their own repairs rather than contract them out to the lowest bidder, so I only have to call the one number to get service. They have always been prompt and courteous, and didn't haggle about what is and isn't covered. Overall, they have been great to work with.

Description of Work: They will fix any type of appliance (small and large) and will even do some electrical work around the house. We have used them for a few projects at our home and have been pleased with their service.

Description of Work: He checked water heater but could not figure out what was wrong with it. I ended up with another contractor who put in a new heater. Gas was leaking out of the water heater.

Description of Work: Service quickly bid and replaced my A/C after the old one died. The installers were quick neat & professional. And you can't beat the 10 year all inclusive warranty, parts labor it doesn't matter they cover it for 10 full years. would use service one again.

Description of Work: They came out and told me my washing machine repair would cost $1200, almost twice what my washer was valued. I ended up buying a new washing machine even though my old one was only 5 yrs old. I have had ServiceOne for many years. In some instances their service has been exceptional. However in a couple of cases when my air conditioner fan broke over a long exceptionally hot weekend I had to eat the cost of another repair service coming out and installing a new fan motor. In another case my sewage line backed up on a Friday and again they could not come out until the following week. I had to hire another plumber to come out and resolve the problem.

Description of Work: I have the service one monthly service contact. Love having it, I always know who to call to repair things. They have repaired many things for me, electrical, plumbing, heat/ac and always do a great job. Great peace of mind to know I can call them.

Description of Work: I paid 450.00 per year to get services on my home. However, I called their lack of communication is terrible to get a return call to get service done on my home or prices were outrages. The only time they would call back when it was time to renew my contract since then I will not renew my contract or do any services with them.

Description of Work: They shut the water off, replaced the water valve on the back of my fridge and replaced the water supply hose. It is very difficult to get behind my fridge due to the location of the island in my kitchen, so they had to work in very close quarters. They did a great job and cleaned everything up afterwards. I needed this repaired very quickly (couldn't get the water shut off.) Even though they didn't have any appointments available, they made every effort to work me into their schedule, which I really appreciated.

Description of Work: Our furnace/AC motor ceased working on July 4 and we called A-1 to find a motor for this 40 year old furnace. Marty was extremely helpful and was able to find a motor for us. We were out of their service area but we drove to Omaha to pick up the motor which was then installed by an electrician in our area. Everyone at A-1 was extremely friendly and should we have need for either furnace or AC work at our Omaha home, we would use this company.

Description of Work: A/C unit had quit cooling house. Called these guys and they came out to the house to troubleshoot. Technician told me I needed a new compressor and the approximate cost would be around $1,000 and they could not make any guarentees. To replace the whole system, I'd be looking at $4,000-$10,000. I called another company to get a second opinion. They came out and found a leaky hose, fixed it and charged me less than $100. I think they're try to take advantage of the hot weather to increase their sales.

Description of Work: Checked my refrigerator since the freezer wasn't staying cold. Discovered the problem and was able to fix without installing new equipment.
