I called in the morning and them came out in the afternoon. Very professional and punctual.

The spring on our garage door broke late Friday night. I was unable to get the door serviced by anyone on Saturday and was able to confirm an appointment with Omaha Door & Window for Monday afternoon. The service salesman Tim, who lives in our area, came by on Saturday afternoon to confirm the scope of work to ensure that his technician was properly lined out as well as discuss repair options. Tim was very professional as well as the technician who performed the work. Very satisfied with the level of service provided.

From the estimate to the after the installation service they were very professional. The siding took about 4 days to complete. The individuals on the install crew were excellent. It has been 3 years since the install and it looks as good as it did the day the job was complete. I was especially impressed by the follow up. A few days after the install was completed we had a very severe thunderstorm with damaging winds. Grant, the superintendent, stopped by early in the day to see if any damage had been caused by the storm. One piece of siding was blown off. A crew came later that day and fixed the panel. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality siding and installation.

They were awesome. They had a very fair price and the door is of high quality. They did a great job.

Very professional throughout process. Salesman helpful with design of project such as cladding around windows and color selection. Quote was accurate and they stood by it throughout process. Crew was experienced and professional. Project manager Dennis Goddard was extremely helpful communicating our needs and managing crew. Good walk through prior to start of project. Checkups every day. On final walk-through he found items on punch list that I did not find. One potential hiccup was gutter subcontractor - they damaged a bunch of the new fascia. Dennis had it remediated the next day. Gutters did turn out good, just a problem with demolition of old gutters. Quality of workmanship was excellent. Would use them again for siding - if I needed to. Fortunately, I have a good product with a great warranty from a reputable dealer.

This company has been easy to work with. I met with an effecient sales rep who gave me a quote before he left that day. The door I ordered arrived in two weeks as planned. Though the install date took a week longer than I was told to plan for, the actual installation was amazing. The technicion arrived on time & completed the work in 3 1/2 hours. I'm very pleased with the product.

I tried myself to fix door but couldn't ge proper fitting winding bar. Called ODW on Mon AM and they were there by 1 PM - providing a 30 min prior call. Repairman, Gary, was very professional, and showed me that I didn't even need the winding bar! In fact, he showed me how to replace the cables next time they break. He also lubed the rollers and gave me the can of lubricant for future use. The Angies List coupon made the total cost very affordable for a crisis repair. I needed the door fixed that day as I was leaving on a trip the next day. I was pleased with the promptness of the repairman, his professionalism and courtesy, and the final cost of the job.

The job was performed as scheduled and with perfection. The crew worked long hours and were very professional.

I was very happy with the service overall. I called for an estimate on a garage door. I was given an estimate over the phone. Someone came out and measure and wrote up a quote the next day. The cost was significantly lower than I expected; several hundred dollars less than I had expected and had estimated from other locations. Install was done the next week. The old door was down and new door installed within two hours. I didn't like all the cigarette butts left in the garage, driveway, and yard by the installer, but overall everyone was friendly, very prompt, and the work was completed quickly and correctly.

Overall went well. Punctual, fairly professional. Good windows. The only non-wonderful was the fact that several window frames had finish nails that were not driven under flush level of wood, I had to use a punch & hammer to get them below level of wood rather than have them remain with nail heads sticking out... Otherwise, everything else had good fit 'n finish.

We own a house built in 1885, so the door and window frames are all different sizes. We checked Angie's List for a door company and settled on ODW. Our sales rep was Dan Cook. He arrived on time and was well-prepared. He didn't carelessly throw heavy steel hinge samples on our wooden furniture, nor on our hardwood floors. He was respectful of our furniture and our home. He knew exactly what door would work with our needs (can't take the trim off the door, can't be any bigger than the existing door because of the proximity of the staircase, can't go taller because of the original transom), showed us plenty of examples and was very informative. He gave us a good, realistic selection but didn't waste our time or his trying to upsell us or change our minds when we made a choice. The man who showed up to measure the doorway also arrived exactly on time and called ahead. I didn't catch his name, but he was also polite, pleasant and professional. The door itself was ready sooner than projected. Aaron was our installer. I had no idea how long it actually takes to install a custom-fit door. If it's done properly, it takes a few hours, not counting any unexpected problems. Aaron was pleasant, friendly and chatty, but not overly so. It can be really uncomfortable to be alone with a stranger in your house for several hours, but he struck the right balance and wasn't too friendly or too standoffish. The installation went smoothly. Aaron was running a few minutes late, but called before his scheduled arrival time to check in and let me know. He worked neatly and competently; he was careful carrying in tools, equipment and the door so nothing was scratched or damaged. When things went wrong, I didn't know about it until he was telling me how he was going to fix it; there was no indication that he was irritated or frustrated. He didn't take personal phone calls or texts. He cleaned up after himself, even added a bit of extra trim to cover up an unsightly screwhead and applied wood putty to cover up a couple of scratches. He worked well with the alarm company serviceman when he showed up, even helped him out so they could finish and get the door closed more quickly. It was *freezing* outside! All in all, I will definitely call ODW the next time I need a door or window, and will definitely refer them to my friends!

The person (Chuck) was less than interested in what we wanted. The salesman did not know what we meant by a center mount opener. The salesman did not know or at least would not discuss various types of door (1 panel noninsulated, 2 layer, etc) or levels of insulation. Did not ask about colors or other aspects (windows). Did not fill oujt quote with warranty information in the boxes listed. We were very disappointed in his professionism and have decided to find another vendor who wants our business.

Overall experience ok--for "would you use this company again in the future" would answer Maybe (mainly due to cost, "B+" grade workmanship) Originally contracted with ODW to replace old windows in sunroom--single workman dispatched to do the job in early Dec 2010; took him all day (lot of work for one guy) but he did a decent job--have had no problems with windows. Had to replace a broken pane in one of the windows in Sep 2012 (shattered by errant pellet from neighbor's pellet gun)--although scheduling the work was a rather drawn-out process (took almost 2 months), it was covered under window warranty and cost $0.

ODW has done a great job representing their company, their products and their work. Not only would I use their services again, they will be replacing some windows in the next couple weeks.

We were concerned that our garage door had something wrong with it, as it had shifted. Omaha Door and Window came out the next day after I called. They lubricated and adjusted the door and reassured me that there was no problem with it now.

I need to begin with the estimate. After getting an estimate from another company, we contacted OD and W. Their representative listened to our original plan and strongly recommended against our locating the room where we planned. He said he could not in conscience put the room in that location. After surveying our property, he suggested another location anad invited us to contact them again if we decided on that new location. After a few weeks we invited him back for an estimate. He was very thorough and submitted a reasonable bid, which we accepted. I was very impressed with the company's integrity and with the professionalism with which they conducted the estimation process. We also were very impressed with the construction process itself. The company worked quickly with minimal disruption of our daily routine. The project proceeded smoothly and they completed the work on schedule. We have been very satisfied with our new room!. It is comfortable year round and we rarely have needed to use the in-wall unit for additional heating or cooling. The room has become the center of activity in our home. One final note: While mowing our lawn some time during the first summer we had the room, I knocked some pebbles into the room's sliding door and broke the glass. We contacted the company and they told us the damage was covered by the warranty. They replaced it at no cost to us. From estimate to after the sale service, I could not be more pleased with the work this company performed.

I called around 9 AM today due to a busted garage door spring. The service person took my information and said they were pretty busy today, but could make it over before 5. Repair person called at 1:30 and said they were on their way. Repair was done within 1 hour. Prompt service and good service.

I initially had the install set for Wednesday the 14th believing that I had scheduled carper cleaning for the 13th. Being as I has to move furniture into the garage for the cleaning, and then move it back inside that night so he could install the door the next day. It turns out I had forgotten my carpet day was actually the same day as the garage door. (I had made the carpet appointment weeks before when I got a good deal on Groupon. So I called to see if it would be possible to change the date to Thursday or Friday and it was a lucky break that they had an opening on Friday that worked out to better for both myself and them, great customer service from the gal on the phone. They called the day before to remind me of the install, but I didnt get the message until later that evening, so they also called the morning of. She said I was his second install and so it should be early afternoon when he arrived and I should make sure to have the garage cleaned out 10 feet back from the door. He didn't arrive until 3, but was very personable and we talked a little about his job before me and why it had taken so long. I asked him a few questions and he answered each one to my satisfaction. He did tell me though that he needed me to clean out at least one side of the garage back to 16 feet so he had room to set the door panels down inside, but he was happy to help me move some stuff out of the way so he would have room. I commented to him that the gal on the phone said 10 feet and that is why that is all I had moved. I forget his response. It took him just about 3 hours to replace it by himself, which to me is amazing, I still dont know how he got that heavy wooden door down by himself. He assisted me in bringing the items we had moved out of the way back in and that was it. My new door looks great and Im sure that whoever buys the house will love it. My existing garage door opener, (Genie screw drive) is so much quieter now with the new door. I had also gotten an estimate from Norms Door Service for about $40 less, but this door was 2" thick vs the 1 3/4" from Norms, and this one appeared to have a better insulation value, so I splurged the extra bit of cash. Just as an aside, only the bottom panel of my previous door was bad, and they said they could repair it for around $400, but everyone I asked, including two real estate agents, said they thought the new door would be worth it and a better value for the new owner.

Made a call to ODW at 8 am on Tuesday morning and they arrived to fix it by 9 am; were done by 9:30 am. For punctuality and responsiveness, I'd definitely rate them an A+. However, two years ago we had this exact same service performed by the same company on the other garage door spring and it cost us half as much. For the price to double in only two years was a bit surprising to me; I do not understand why the rate increase. So in regards to price, I give them a C- rating. Next time I have a problem with my garage door, I will consider checking the competitors to price compare. Update: ODW called a few days later to discuss the pricing difference. Evidently the work they performed two years ago was a slightly different repair, thus the price difference. The work involved on this particular repair was more extensive and the reason why the price was higher. Should also mention that we have been happy with the quality of their work, every repair made has been excellent. The new cable installed two years ago still looks brand new.

Everything was done quickly and professionally, and at a price less than what I was going to spend doing it myself with doors and operators purchased from a home center.

We accidentally somehow got the 16' garage door off it's tracks and wedged on a Saturday afternoon, essentially trapping our car in the garage before we needed to go to a family function.. One quick call to ODW is all it took! Their repairman arrived within 45 mins, and quickly unwedged the door, rehung it, lubed everything, adjusted the torsion spring, and within 20 mins, it worked better than ever before!

the technician was a little late - about half an hour. When he go there, he apologized and got right to work. He looked closely at the garage door opener and provided some extra maintenance and advice, while fixing the problem well.

Our garage door springs busted and burned out the motor, total disaster!!! We called ODW on Tuesday, we had an estimate on Wednesday, and our garage door and opener was installed on Friday. My husband and I purchased an opener from a department store, ODW installed it for cheaper than the dept. store would have. The gentlemen who did the estimate and installation were very professional
