This is the company for the job!!! If you want it done right the first time. We have a large cedar home with a 40'x 12' rear covered deck and front 7'x7' deck to which this house has not been touched since it was built in 1992 so you can imagine the dirt, organic growth and fading that was going on. Plus over the years the deck started slopping from rotting poles, along with rotting steps. Mike and his team handled it all making sure it was done right, fixed everything before cleaning, staining the house and decks. The communication was excellent, bid process, color selection, project timing, the products available. The attention to detail from start to finish was incredible my wife and I can't believe how awesome our place looks. We will use Mike and his team again in the future no questions asked.

Mike was great. He was very professional throughout the entire deck staining process. He drove out of his way to my place of employment to show me stain samples. He was quick to respond to any questions or concerns and gave me frequent updates via email. I was not satisfied after the first stain was done. Unfortunately, it looked like the contractor stained over the deck before he cleaned it. I called Mike and he immediately called me back. A couple days later the contractors came back and fixed their mistake. I would have liked to see more professionalism from the people who actually stained the deck. I didn't appreciate them smoking right on my deck. They also didn't seem to want to listen to my concerns. Mike listened to all my concerns after the deck was completed and told me he would discuss them with his employees. I must say I am satisfied with the final product and the deck looks great.

Can't say enough superlatives about these folks! I had significant mold on the underside of my deck. I had ignored it for years. They were able to safely remove all of the mold and apply a sealer/stain that should prevent future mold growth for years. It now looks fantastic!

His crew worked throughout inclement weather to finish the job. It was an unusually wet spring and early summer and this slowed the process somewhat, but the finished product was definitely worth the wait. Mike and his staff are nice people but... I had to point out the wood rot to get pieces replaced, they did not see it. I had to talk to the front line workers three times to point out missed spots that were not stained at all or lightly, also stain accidently placed on the house (which cannot be removed), water left running in the back yard for some time and secondary coats of stain required to try and cover old stain and paint left on the deck. Even then, the paint left on the facia from the old stain/paint is easily seen. On the good side, the deck was very old and in bad shape and about 70% of the deck now looks very nice, but again I am left to work on the balance if I want it to look the same as the 70%. The owner (Mike) did say he would come back in the spring and "paint' the deck to better hide the old paint (which stain does not do) if desired (at a reduced cost), but he does not recommend painting decks, it does not last like stain. Nice people, tried... but not what I had hoped for or expected.

My wooden fence looks so beautiful and now It has so much curb appeal. I do live on a street with lots of cars passing by my house each day. I invested a lot of money in a new fence in November 2014. My neighbor next door hired Mike to stain her fence and I truly liked what I saw. Mike gets 5 stars from me. Thank you Mike!!

Very happy with how my fence turned out. I love the fact that the sealant was Made in the USA. A big plus for me. Just as important the warranty that comes with the stain. Mike was very receptive and responded timely to all email correspondence. I am very happy with the job they did.

Mike Adams with Nebraska Stain & Seal was very thoughtful and informative with regard to refurbishing my deck. My deck had been a victim of Sherwin Williams Deckscapes, which was a water based stain that looked more like paint, and was chipping on the deck floor and steps. . Mike and his crew were able to remove this old stain, which was not an easy job. It required multiple applications of stripper, and alot of sanding, but the finished results are nothing short of amazing! The oil based Wood Defender product is the best I have ever seen, with an incredible warranty. I chose the semi-solid in the Cedar Tone color, which allows the wood grain to show through. Mike matched the fence to the deck color, now everything has changed from drab to FAB! Thank you, Mike, for saving my wood deck and fence.

Mike Adams, the owner, did an excellent job of communicating each stage of the deck cleaning and staining effort. His crew did their work well and Mike even helped with a couple of the touch-up efforts. Mike's bid was not the lowest, but his professionalism with the bid process and work endeavors made the difference not a significant factor. For those of you working with a new deck of cedar the curing time needed to offset the natural repelling of cedar may want to wait longer than one year to have the new deck stained. We put in a new cedar deck a year ago and were told we needed to wait 6 months before we stained the deck. Note: Power washing is fine after the first new months. However, with staining you may have some boards that need additional time beyond one year to absorb the stain properly. We had a couple of areas where the stain didn't take; along the outside of a couple of boards. Mike came back to add additional stain, which helped. Overall.....a VERY positive experience with Nebraska Stain and Seal.
