Metro Overhead

It went really well. We purchased a tune up but needed struts, and a few other parts. Metro Overhead fixed the problems from a previous company. Our garage works like new and it's quiet!

They were great. I just paid for the garage door service through Angie's List. I also asked them to take a look at my garage door opener. They made a tweak to a setting and replaced a couple of parts that were very reasonably priced. The opener is working much better now and much quieter.

Showed up in a timely manner, performed work to a satisfactory level.

Really painless process. Neal (installer) was a few minutes early for our meeting to get estimate. He measured, helped me pick out style and color, explained the process, and gave me their bid. (Bid was comparable to another well-known business in area; however, Metro Overhead could get door in 2 weeks compared to the 4 - 6 weeks of other company.) He was professional and knowledgeable. Neal was prompt on day of installation and the installation went very smoothly. Owner (Terry) was very prompt in replying to emails. Couldn't be happier with the service and the product. Would definitely recommend this company and would use again!!!

He was very informative. Showed me how to adjust the garage door opening and set your password. He told us what do to if we have a problem and no problems since.

The service was awesome! He was courteous and professional. No only did he fix the issue, he also went the extra mile and replaced the weather stripping at the bottom and tuned up the door and now it sounds like new!

The tech showed up on time, was very professional, and efficient. He noticed a problem with the way the previous home owner installed the garage door and corrected the issue. I would hire them again.

He came out the very same day that I called him and replace the broken springs. He was within a few minutes of the appointed time and the job was very professional. I was very satisfied with the work accomplished.

The job went great. The service technician was professional and had the job done in no time.

Told technician what was wrong. He oiled rollers which were supposed to be replaced. When I asked about the rollers he said the old ones were OK. He did some other adjustments and left. Door doesn't perform any different than it did before this service.

Tom showed up exactly on the dot and did his job effeciently and professionally. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why and gave me advice for the future for replacement doors and insulation. He gave me a mini-course on how garage doors work and showed me where to oil in the future and what kind of oil to get. He adjusted the cord and the top panel of my door so it closed securely and not able to be himmied from the outside. He even took the time to quickly key and install a garage door wireless keypad entry system that I have tried to figure out for a long time. I appreciated the education from a professional. In the future, if I ever have need, they will be the company I use.

I could not say enough good things about this company. First, my call was answered immediately and service was scheduled the next day. The owner showed up at my door early (not too early, 5 minutes) for the scheduled time. He came himself because he thought a technician he assigned may not make it at the scheduled time. Terry worked on the door for about 15 minutes when the tech arrived. They were diligent, professional, courteous and honest. Long story short: they absolutely could have sold me a whole new opener, installation, and even doors given the situation. Their advice? "This brand tends to run a long time, I'd run it until it dies if I were you." Cannot overstate how highly I recommend this company! Use them!

Great customer service!! Called at 8am and talked to Terry the owner. He told me someone would be out at 11:00 to fix the broken spring on my garage door that was no longer opening. Service man was here at 10:30 and had it fixed before 11:00. I told him that my door had also been binding up every now and again for the past year or two and was concerned about my door track. He inspected the track and said it was fine and then adjusted a setting on my opener motor, said it was set too low and I shouldn't have a problem with it anymore. Door is working great! I think there is a reason why they are number one on Angie's List.

The technician did a very thorough job it a timely manner. He went above and beyond what I expected for the service purchased. He noticed my garage door wall mounted button was loose so he cleaned it and mounted it properly. I was very impressed with his professionalism and service oriented manner.

I rarely write reviews, but when the service is this exceptional... Last week, I called Metro Overhead in regard to my garage door which was not opening/closing properly. Admittedly, prior to contacting Metro Overhead, I called another area garage door provider and was met with so-so customer service. They book their appointments in 3 hr. increments and weren't able to come out until the next day, so I returned to Angie's List and decided to give this company a shot. Not only did the company owner pick up the phone after two rings, he told me that he could have someone out there within the hour. The forementioned company required one to commit to an availble 3 hour time window, for someone to show up. It didn't hurt that he had a great sense of humor, either! Sure enough, in less than 1 hour, a very capable company technician, Tom, appeared in my driveway. He made a quick assessment of the situation and went right to work, noticing that the springs on the door could use a little bit of tightening too (at no additional charge). When I shared that I was serious about replacing the door this spring (it's 35+ years old), Tom grabbed a product catalog, identified two particularly good garage door options and suggested an appropriate color match from his color deck. There was no pressure, no rush either. This company gets my 2 thumbs up. I hope you have a good experience with them as well!
