Description of Work: Tuned up garage doors, and replaced 1 garage door opening mechanism. Very good experience

Description of Work: They repaired the tension cables on my garage door. When I wanted the opportunity to fix it myself the owner, Terry, explained to me over the phone how I should do it. When I couldn't do it myself he squeezed me in the next day and the repair was completed within a half an hour. The technician allowed me to observe and explained his job every step of the way so that I could try again on my own if the problem ever re-occurred. I was very impressed with Metro Overhead and would not hesitate to use them again.

Description of Work: Great communication skills. Questions were answered promptly before the appointment, and my concerns were met on the appointment day. My garage door hasn't been this quiet since I can even remember.

Description of Work: Metro overhead door did a maintenance procedure on our garage doors. they replaced all of the rolls and the bottom rubber door seal on the single door ( we have both a double and a single garage door. They did a great job and explained exactly what they did before they left. They are great company and i would recommend their service to everyone. | |

Description of Work: Lightening storm blew out circuit board in garage door opener. Called the when garage door didn't open. They sent someone within a few hours and he diagnosed the problem. Was very helpful to make sure my garage door locked so I could go to work while they were waiting for parts. Came back later at agreed upon time and did a few extra maintenance things without extra charges.

Description of Work: OMG. I am in love with the owner, Terry. He was punctual, provided excellent service & did not try to charge me anything extra. The original garage door people wanted $85 to "look" @ my door + $6.50/roller. I have 10 rollers. That would have been $150 & they were the ORIGINAL installers. BTW, don't EVER use OVERHEAD DOOR. PITA is what they are. On the other hand, METRO is mah-velous, wonderful, excellent & did not try to charge me for the rollers - even when I offered to pay for them! Wonderful person, Terry. He is so personable & doesn't try to stick you! We need more of those people in the Omaha, NE area:)

Description of Work: Replaced an old opener with a new opener and keypad. Also removed an old manual door and put in a brand new door with tracks and installed an opener and keypad for that door. |Went great, Tom completed the installations and did a great job. Very nice guy, easy to work with. They were able to do this the next day.

Description of Work: The service was excellent. Neil was running a bit late and called ahead to let me know. He replaced the rollers, tightened the hinges and checked all workings of the door. The doors run so smoothly and quietly now it made an incredible difference. Very glad that I had them out to work on the doors and would definitely have them back to to work on the garage doors and recommend them to others.

Description of Work: Three hinges on my garage door needed to be replaced. I used the Amazon Local $89 Garage Door Tune Up and Roller Replacement Voucher. The hinge replacements were for a total of $3 and two drums also needed replacement and they were $10 each. The serviceman was very polite and was actually early for my appointment. It took about an hour and my garage door is back working better than before the hinges broke.

Description of Work: Very well. We have never thought about a tune up for the garage doors and it was a good thing to do. Found a couple little things and got it fixed.

Description of Work: I first called them because a huge spring broke on my very old wooden garage door. Even though it was after 5:00, the owner told me that someone would be there within half an hour and they were. They put on new springs and rollers and made sure the door was functional. I also asked for a bid on a new garage door and opener. A couple of days later, I decided to have the work done and called them. They came out yesterday and installed. Both of the employees I worked with were professional and polite and obviously knew what they were doing. My garage is difficult because it is very low, but they were able to adjust the installation to account for that. They did a really good job of explaining to me how to use the new opener and answered all questions. They also told me what I would need to do to best maintain the system. The company gave me a credit for the amount I paid for the new springs and rollers a few days earlier. I was completely happy with their service and would recommend them highly. |
