We had bought an Angie's List coupon from Metro Overhead for $89.00 that covered labor and replacement of the garage door rollers and our garage door would be checked to see if everything was working properly. When the repairman from Metro Overhead came out he pointed out that our garage door springs were broken which we could see. He then also replaced the two springs costing $107.00 but did not charge for the labor since that was already covered by our coupon. He was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. We are thankful that the coupon from Angie's List plus the competent work of the Metro Overhead repairman saved us from more costly damage and repairs. We were very happy with the service provided. Our garage door now opens and closes smoothly and quietly.

I emailed Terry at Metro Overhead (MO) shortly after getting the AL Member notice and MO scheduled the appointment to fit our busy schedules. The Pulley Replacement up sale, while unexpected, turned into a good investment. The crew at MO got our garage door restored to good working order. Thanks MO - David

It turned out pretty well. I think the worst part of the experience was that they were running a little late, however they called well in advance to say that they would be running late. Then, he did show up when he said he was going to. That was the worst part about it, but overall the guy was really friendly. He was knowledgeable on what he was doing. He was able to explain why the rollers he was replacing mine with were actually better/higher quality. On top of that, he was able to actually give me an estimate on a separate job for my garage while he was there, free of charge, since he was already out there. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. The other cool thing was, I think the Angie's List price is normally just a discounted rate for what their normal rate is and I live outside the normal service area for majority of companies and they didn't charge me a service call for coming out, it's normally like $45.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. He, of course, was able to find other things that I needed but the prices were reasonable so that was very good. I spent more but they gave me everything that was promised for the price advertised. I spent an additional $70. I would use them again especially if they have another deal through Angie's List.

Told them that a cable seemed to have broken also and asked them to repair whatever needed repaired. Was expecting to pay quite a bit more money but when the tech was finished it was only an additional $10.00. The tech came out the same day we purchased the deal and was courteous and prompt. Would definitely use them again!

I was pleased overall, but as I said, the services were not extensive or major.

Fantastic. I called Terry to schedule a service call and explained the issue i was having. He walked me through a simple adjustment on the phone that worked perfect. This eliminated the need for him to come out and saved me time and money. If I ever have an issue in the future I am calling Terry.

We called Terry on Thursday morning to check his availability for the following week. To our surprise, he was available the same day within 30 minutes from the time we contacted him. Terry showed up and explained what the inspection consisted of and immediately got started. Upon completion of the inspection and roller replacement, he asked if I wanted the door seal and a cracked hinge replaced. I decided to have him proceed with the repairs. When he finished the repairs, Terry gave me some preventative maintenance pointers and assisted me in programming my keypad. If anyone is looking to have some work done on their garage door...give Terry a call.

The service was great. They showed up on time and did everything they said that they would. They tuned up 2 garage doors and did both all for the same price. They got the job done in about 2 hours. The scheduling was very easy and they contacted me the same day I bought the deal to set something up. The technician was very nice and professional.

The repair was quick and efficient and the repairman, Tom explained the problem to us. We were grateful for the quick and courteous service. We will definitely call Metro Door again.

This service was excellent. My garage door opener is an older system. Metro Overhead came on time and did a thorough inspection and fixed everything. This included installing new rollers which is part of the tune up. In addition, the gliders were re-positioned. The way the door works was explained to me and since the system is older I was able to know that it will still work well for a few years. He attended to all details such as changing a light bulb in the overhead mechanism of the door and installing a light bulb in the garage proper. He also cut off a dead bolt lock for which there was no key in 20 seconds. Since I am a new home owner I appreciated all the explanations and attention to detail, I will not hesitate to use Metro Overhead when the time comes to replace the present opener. It is important to mention that the worker was both pleasant and competent. I really appreciated this opportunity to have a tune-up. The door works so much better now.

It took about 15 minutes and so I thought $89 was a bit pricey, but he also gave us good feedback on our door, which doesn't need replacing right away but could be better quality, so for that it was in fact worth it. He also gave us the names of the products he used so that we can maintain our garage door ourselves, so that was very helpful too.

He replaced the broken cable clip, replaced the rollers, checked, cleaned and oiled the track, greased the opener gear, checked panels, springs and oiled the rollers and bearings and fixed the chain tension. The garage door has never worked as smoothly, quietly and efficiently. On top of all that, he fixed my vacuum cleaner and showed me how to fix it next time! I plan to upgrade my garage door and this is the company I will call. I give them my highest recommendation and I'm sure if you use them, you'll be as happy and pleased as I am!

Tom needed to modify the opener and chain. Worked great. Included openers and remote outside opener. Price very good.

Upon returning from vacation, we could not get our garage door open....with my car inside the garage. I called Metro at 8:00 Monday morning thinking with the sub zero temperatures, they were either super busy or staying inside. I was told they would have someone at my house around noon, definitely by one so I could make my 2:30 appointment. Tom arrived just before noon, had the new spring on, adjusted the opener and was done by 1:00 pm. Very professional, quick and best of all arrived as promised!!! I have used Metro before and I will continue to use them. Their tech's go the extra mile to make sure everything (door, rollers, sensors, opener) is in good working order before they call it done.
