They were extremely thorough in their investigation. They physically investigated several options with 2 blocks of our property. Their report was professionally and honestly delivered. When they walked through our home, they were gracious enough to answer a few other questions that were unrelated to the original visit. We'll definitely continue to reach out to these guys for our plumbing work. Even though they didn't perform any work on the house... yet.

This was our second experience with Major Drain, and we were very pleased. The price was good and the guy who came out to do the job was pleasant and helpful. Definitely would use them again...though I don't desire more plumbing problems...

Ryan called that he was running a little early from his previous jobs and asked if he could come early to my home. Because he arrived a little earlier than I had planned, I had not had time to move a few items in the garage to give him clear access to the pipe. He said he would be glad to help me, and we moved the stuff out of the way. Then he put a camera down to determine if/how much root invasion there was. He not only showed me on his screen, but also used a meter to determine the EXACT location of the occlusion. Sure enough, it was EXACTLY where the previous owners had made a repair, as evidenced by the concrete work in the driveway. Ryan cabled it out completely, and showed me again on the camera that all the roots were GONE! I cannot say enough good things about this company and Ryan! First of all, I called earlier in the week and was able to get an appointment just a few days later. Ryan was professional and courteous and took the time to tell me what he was doing and why. He suggested that I set up maintenance for every 18 months to avoid a back up in the future. I WILL be using Major Drain for ALL of my future plumbing needs! They are a good value, not just because of price, but also because of their HONESTY and INTEGRITY and EXPERTISE! They do not try to sell you something you do not need, and will get it right the first time! (FYI, a competitor of theirs told me they would charge me $225/hour for the same work and that it would probably be at least two hours...Major Drain was in and out in about an hour TOTAL!) I HIGHLY recommend this company and will be letting all my friends and family know how great this company is! WELL DONE!

After surveying the house's plumbing system, Sean went up on the roof and put the snake down the stack pipe and out to sewer to preclude a re-blockage. This was all done in less than an hour. I was very pleased.

We recently bought a house that needed some serious work, including fixing the sewer line. The sewer pipes broke two years prior, but the previous owner was unable to pay for the fix. Every time water was used, it backed up into the basement. We received a bid from another company before we decided to go with Major Drain. The first company's bid was confusing, ranging from $7,000 to $20,000+ without a clear explanation of what would cause the project to cost more or less or at what price we were most likely to find ourselves in the end. The estimate from Major Drain clearly spelled out the different options and potential prices, which gave us a better understanding of the project as a whole. Major Drain trenched the driveway, found two breaks in the sewer, and replaced the pipes from the front of the house to the street, which cost $8000. They poured concrete for a brand new driveway, which cost $5000. We also asked Major Drain if they'd be willing to rip out and replace the entire sidewalk as well. The sidewalk was an additional $1750. So now our driveway and sidewalk look great and our sewer problems are solved! All for a reasonable price for such a big project. I spoke with Brent over the phone a number of times leading up to, during, and after the work was completed. He was always a pleasant and clear person to speak with and very professional. For us, when dealing with such a huge project good communication and clarity were a necessity. We appreciated that Major Drain was realistic about the cost and came in right at the price they quoted us. They did not lure us in with a "best case scenario" low price and then hit us with a worst case scenario situation in the end, which is what we felt like the first company might have been trying to do. Major Drain's prices were vary competitive compared to other plumbing companies, and we really appreciated their knowledge and communication.

Our drain was overflowing periodically in the basement. Apparently our house is old enough to where it has cast iron plumbing drain lines from the house to the street. The previous owner we bought the house from left the house vacant over winter and then some (more and more) as the years went by. Apparently some rust built up in the drain and was obstructing flow. Snaking the drain did the trick and the guy said he guaranteed for something like 6 months I believe. So we'll see if we have to keep re-doing it. If so, whoever's idea it was to use a rustable pipe in building a house ought to be something I can't print.

The plumber, Roger was very friendly, fast, and helpful in answering questions on other work that may need to be done in the future. He even explained what to do with a problem on my sink. It was something that he could have charged me for but showed me what an easy and quick fix it would be. He would have done it but didn't have the part. The only downside was when he removed my shower head and all the black sediment came out all over the shower...I had to clean it up. It wasn't anything major considering he was quick and very kind. I would call him for any other work we would need.

They did a very good job. Easy to schedule. They explained things in a clear and concise manner. And they did a very good job with the actual work. The pricing was also signficantly lower than several other companies that I priced out for the same service. Overall, I was very satisfied with their service and would recommend the company to others.

Brent stopped in within hours of my initial call for the estimate. The goal was to do preventive work on the refrigerator water line and the washer shut off valve as both were corroding. I also asked them about the decreasing water pressure to my house and how the sump pump works. He took the time to demonstrate how the sump pump works for me so I feel more comfortable about what to look for if there are problems. The work was scheduled for a few days later. Brent and Mike showed up on time and performed all services as requested. They tested the water pressure and located a couple of trouble spots that simply required changing out cartridges. I was pleased with the quality of service provided by both gentlemen. I am glad I had them do the work as the shut off valve on the refrigerator line simply snapped off when they attempted to remove it. Thankfully, a crisis avoided.
