After finding In-law Plumbing through Angie's list, on 7/22/15, I called & had a very pleasant conversation with Scott about what I needed. He immediately set an appointment for Friday, 7/24/15, at 10:00am, saying they would call before coming out. I thought I would have about an hour to clean out my old refrigerator, so when they called, it was sooner than I expected. I said I would need more time. Bernie said that was fine & he could wait awhile. He arrived at about 10:15, & I was ready, frazzled but ready! He was very friendly and clearly explained what needed to be done & set to work. Shortly, Scott also arrived & they finished up very quickly. I was very satisfied with their work & certainly would use them again, if needed.

What started for us as a clogged drain became a nightmare scenario where the clogged drain was the least of our concerns (we had to excavate front yard, remove existing main sewer line, replace with new sewer line plus 3 external clean-outs along with cabling 3 drains, video 2 lines and replace a toilet). Suffice it to say, In-law Plumbing came to the rescue from the get go. They were prompt, professional and most importantly highly trained experts at what they do. They not only came with the highest recommendations but other friends who had similar problems said not to worry, "they treat you like family". We can positively confirm their company motto is an understatement. They treated us better than family, we were in dire straights and they took care of every aspect of our plumbing (and fiscal needs). What could have been a financial and emotional nightmare turned out to be a lifelong teaching moment for others to watch out for when purchasing a home. Pro Tip #1, have your potential home inspected by licensed plumbers who take the time to video your pipes so there's nothing hidden or unexpected (like an undisclosed septic tank in the city) that you'll end up paying much more than the cost of inspection to have to deal with after the purchase. In-law plumbing not only took care of everything from interior work to exterior work, but they were available by phone and in-person throughout the entire process. We can't recommend these guys enough and they truly saved the day when we needed them. As far as we're concerned, they're family from this point forward.

Went perfectly. Company worked around my schedule, showed up on time, explained what needed to be done, did what they needed to do in the time they quoted, and showed me their work upon completion.

They were professional and friendly. They made sure I was aware of the work they were doing and took the time to explain it to me. They even told me about work that I could have done to prevent the root issues in the pipes - the referral was to another company, so they were not trying to oversell for work that was not needed. Hopefully, I will not have to call anyone soon, but if I do, they will be who I call!

Fantastic. Professional and friendly service on the phone. Sent plumber within the hour. Plumber was polite, snaked the toilet. He tested the toilet several times verifying that if was flushing normally and was he very clean in his work - did not leave a mess. I will definitely use In-Law Plumbing for my plumbing needs in the future.

Exceptional! Received a return phone call within an hour of leaving a message, sent pictures of problem, and received an estimate. Scheduled appointment for two days later. Received a phone call from the technician, Phil, before arrival and he showed up on-time. Work was performed quickly and professionally. Phil was very courteous and professional. I was very pleased with the service Scott provided. He ran a bit late for my appointed time, but he called to explain why and gave me a new ETA. The price was better than what I have paid other plumbers in the past. When Scott arrived at my house, he put booties on over his shoes which I appreciated. They came out right away and made an estimate and scheduled the work within 3 days. They were here on time for the appointment and finished on schedule. The young man scheduled to do the install couldn;t make it so the owner did the job.

It went great! These guys are fast, fun and friendly! Knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Drained and removed old water heater and installed new. This is the second time we've used in-law, but it won't be our last!

It went great! We love In-Law Plumbing! We searched for a company to do this work for us for 6 months. Half of the companies didn't return our call. The other half came out, looked at the job, and then asked us what how we thought they should do it. Really? I know what I thought needed to be done, I wanted someone who knew what they were doing, knew what could be done and then knew how to do it.! That's what In-Law plumbing did for us! Assessed the job, told us how it could be done and then did it! Wow! Imagine that! A company knowing what to do and how to do it. We have found our go to plumbing company...In-Law Plumbing!

VERY NICELY Individual arrived on time. Was very respectful and listened to my needs. We had to figure out where the pipe was located in the house....that was interesting. He, Phil, made a calculated guess and was correct. He went to work and did not take very long to complete the task. The price was fair and very reasonable. I will 100% call on In-Law Plumbing again.

My experience with them started when I called to get an estimate. They asked me a series of questions over the phone and quoted me at $150. Scott was very professional when he arrived. They were a little late from the window they gave me, but they called ahead of time to explain the situation and gave me an exact time. They actually showed up 5 minutes earlier than the new time. He came in and verified what I needed to get done. After explaining what the problem was, he explained what he was going to do first to ensure I was ok with the solution. He had to wait for his partner to arrive before getting started, but that only took 5 minutes. Once they arrived, they started work immediately. Right in the beginning however, they realized that they didn't have the right part to connect the copper tubing to my pipe. They ran to the Lowe's that was nearby and bought the piece. They told us it wouldn't be included in the price as it was their mistake in the first place. They finished up the work in about 45 minutes and tested everything to ensure it was working correctly. They charged me exactly what they quoted me. It's been about a week since they've been here and everything works and looks great. I looked under the sink and the cabinets where they ran the copper line and I had to really look for it. They did a great job hiding it so it wasn't in the way. I would absolutely use them again!

Very accommodating to my schedule. Showed up promptly and completed the work in a timely fashion. Very friendly and explained everything he was doing. I am so pleased to have this work done!

When the toilet was replaced in the bathroom, it seems the correct adapter for the supply was not used. Sometime months later, water started coming through the living room ceiling. Fortunately, the water to the bathroom could be shut off separately. The company that did the toilet replacement gave a bid of $11,000 to $30,000, including something about a methane smell in the basement! We smelled a rat! MUD pooh-poohed the basement leak business. Upon recommendation of wife's father and others, we called In-Law. One of the men lived two blocks away, and they understood the houses in the neighborhood. They submitted an estimate of $5000. A bid by a reputable plumber our family craftsman has used came in substantially higher. We went with In-Law. In-Law set up a time to start when they could devote full effort to the job, about a week and a half later. In-Law said that if the husband did the daily clean up, they could pare down the bid. The family stayed with the wife's parents. Walls had to be opened in the bathroom and an adjacent bedroom, and in the living room ceiling and wall. The plumbers and the dry-waller expedited the work and we were able to move back home in 2 and one half days. The total bill was $4,400. Ahead of schedule and under budget!!!

I contacted In-Law plumbing due to their service feedback on Angie's List. I called at 7:00 AM and they were able to not only work around my schedule but was able to come that day. Owner was not only professional, but also very personable. He checked out the situation, told me what he thought the problem was and what he was going to do to correct it. In less than 30 minutes, I had a fast moving drain, had paid him and he was on his way. Yes, it was a massive hairball about four feet from drain. I had attempted to fix this problem myself with all of the internet advice: plunger, baking soda vinegar, hot water, etc. I would definitely use this company again.

I called at 7:00 a.m. to schedule an appointment as bathtub drain running VERY slow. I got an appointment for same day (actually service was done earlier than anticipated, which was a nice surprise). Very professional; explained what he thought the problem was and steps he was going to take to correct the situation. Had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. Again, very professional and personable. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. (And no, I don't know them -- found their company on Angie's List.) Thank you again In-Law Plumbing for a job well done!!!!

He made it work with my schedule, here the day after I first sent a message request, and was so nice and professional. Also, the price can't be beat.

Scott & Bernie ( the brothers-in-law that own and operate the business) are both wonderful! They have been out to our house for multiple reasons (see the list above), that began prior to our purchasing our home & continued as we completed various projects in our home. They are very reliable, professional and personable. I appreciate that they always answer the phone, are on-time, have very fair pricing and never try to sell you on additional things. They do excellent work and are enjoyable to have around the house as the work is being done. We are very happy that we found In-Law Plumbing!

All I knew was that suddenly the flow diminished to a drip. I called them shortly after 6 PM on Monday, November 3, and they set up a time for Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday morning, they called to say a hole opened in their schedule and they could come over at ten in the morning, if that would work for me. Terrific! Bernie and Scott showed up in informal uniforms. They are professional and friendly. Scott explored the faucet lines, found the plug, and he had just the tool to clear it. Their usual rate is $80/hr. But this went so fast they charged me less. I have no reservations about calling them again and recommending them.
