Description of Work: First, they replaced 2-retaining walls. Workers had to demolish the existing walls, prepare the base and then lay 2-new walls. Then, we had 2-rain gutters rerouted away from the house. The guys did a great job in a professional manner. The upgrade looks really nice.

Description of Work: Just started with them. They were very friendly an on time and price was reasonable. They got right out for the first treatment. I notice some weed in the yard early so will call them to have them come spot spray. |They would do good/better on their schedule if they included an early/mid spring spot check as that is when many early weed start to show up.

Description of Work: They provided 5 step treatment on our lawn, we were being overrun with weeds from the empty lot next door, once their treatments started. there was a drastic change, no more weeds and the color of our lawn has never looked better. definitely recommended.

I just read in some of their material that they automatically renew every year, which I don't like but other than that they were pretty good. I was sleeping the last time they came and I don't like that I don't know when they are coming. They don’t have an appointment time when they come. It’s questionable on whether I will continue to use them.

+ -1 moreThis is our third year using Heartland Lawns. They've done a great job and the lawn looks much better than when we moved in. A couple of times we've had to have them come back because it rained the day of a treatment. They didn't balk and came back the next day. We pay about $465 for 7 lawn treatments plus 6 perimeter pest control treatments including a 6% discount for pre-paying the season. My only complaint about Heartland is that, like most lawn care companies, they automatically renew your plan and show up unannounced to treat the yard. You have to explicitly cancel the service if you don't want them to come the following year. It would be really nice if companies didn't do this or if they at least sent a reminder that they would be coming back out on such & such a date.

+ -1 moreI am extremely pleased with Heartland. They are extremely responsible and they are an ethical company. I feel comfortable having them on my property and I just felt that for all that they did, I got my money's worth out of them. I would surely recommend them to anyone in the area especially if they are looking to be on an annual plan with a company. I find this annual payment plan to be one of the nicest parts of dealing with this company.
Description of Work: I have an annual contract with Heartland Lawns. That cost covers them coming to my home six times a year to outline the perimeter of my property and garden beds, trim my trees and bushes, and do my weeding. That cost also can include lawn fertilization and lawn trimming if or when it may be needed.

+ -1 moreI have what I would call an average size yard. I pay $35 for monthly service. I am not sure exactly what type of chemicals and fertilizers they use. I think it goes by what ever it looks like you need. We used them several seasons now. The lawn looks healthy.
