They were very prompt in responding to my request for an estimate. They came out when they said they would and left their estimate in the door. Several days later they followed up with a phone call to see if I had any questions. They answered my questions and made it clear they wanted the business without being overly pushy.

So far the lawn has improved quite a bit, and the ants, army worms, etc., have disappeared.

I called for a quote. They came out within a couple days with a reasonable bid do I signed up. They've been very responsive to any questions I've had and came out the next day to spray a few weeds that had appeared.

This is our second year with Heartland. Not 100% sure of price (don't have my bill with me). I don't even know when they come. We just see the Heartland Lawns sign in our yard and professional instructions on caring for our grass by our door. They have been extremely responsive, and worked with me when I had trouble doing the pay ahead for the season program and got me hooked up. My grass looks great. Only complaint, we have these pock marks of missing grass just a few places. We can guess what it's from, but it'd be nice if they would point out what we need to do different in mowing if anything.

It went well. Everything was well. I just wish the price was lower and that's about it. They are always prompt. When they say they're going to be here, the exact time they're here. They give us a call the day prior when they do service at our house.

They returned 1 week after initial application to re-spray for dandelions, at no additional charge.

They have been out for two treatments and are very nice people. It is too early in the season to really know how good they have done. So far I would recommend them.

We use Heartland Lawns every summer. The lawn that take care off looks good and healthy. They just come in and do their thing. They do a really nice job.Our yard looks really good.

They came out and did an estimate 2 days after asking for a quote, and were out the next week to treat the lawn. Our lawn is in bad shape, very thin grass, and a lot of weeds. They gave recommendations without trying to sell anything extra. We have only had one application, and they let you know exactly what they did, kept fertilizer off concrete, and gave helpful comments on my card as to what I should do to help my lawn look its best.

Called them at 3 p.m. and they were out the next day. Very happy with the spray and fertilize treatment, weeds are gone. I was a little disappointed with the aerate job, we didn't see many plugs. But for the price, you can't beat them! They didn't damage any sprinkler heads and made sure the fertilizer stayed off our concrete. I would recommend them.

We've been very happy with the service. Our lawn was in pretty bad shape with the drought last summer. We hired them in September of 2012. They assessed the lawn and gave their recommendations. They power raked, aerated, overseeded and treated the lawn for false strawberry. They did caution that false strawberry is difficult to get rid of. The lawn began to improve before going dormant for the winter. The lawn came back great this Spring! Areas we had given up being able to grow grass have been greening up, the false strawberry is greatly reduced and the lawn is much thicker. They come and treat the lawn during the day when my husband and I are at work so there is very little one-to-one contact with them. They do put a bill in the door after each treatment explaining what they did. They also note the things that they need us to do (water, etc). We have not had a cause to call them on anything. For us, this is one of the highlights of their service.

Persons seems knowledgeable and phone representatives are nice. I had a concern with continued weed presence and a tech came right out. Yard looks good especially with massive dandilion presence on other side of fence. Will know more next month. One year later and we are still very pleased with service. The yard looks great, price is very fair, and technicians knowledgeable and helpful. Will stay with Heartland over competitors anytime.

I switched from a national chain to Heartland when I noted a lawn in the neighborhood that looked particularly healthy. That homeowner referred me to Heartland, and I've been happy with their service for the last 3 years.

So far so good. Didn't try to sell services I didn't need. In fact, they talked me out of a couple of things that wouldn't be effective this time of year. Comparable price to Forest Green, however, Heartland Lawns does NOT offer mowing services as well, unfortunately.

Gentleman came to the door and introduced himself and told me what he was going to do and how I should take care of my lawn.

I had called 3 different lawn companies for an estimate. All estimates were done soon after I made the initial call. Heartland's prices were comparable and I liked what other people had to say so I contacted them the beginning of April to begin service. When nothing had been done by the 15th, I called to make sure my request had not gotten lost in the shuffle. The gentleman I spoke with was very courteous and assured me I was on the schedule for that week. He mentioned the weather as a contributing factor to not getting to my yard right away which was a reasonable explanation. Fertilizing was done the very next day. I appreciated the helpful comment on my card as to what I could/should do to help my lawn look its best.

Will have more to say after we use their services vs just getting the estimate. They were very prompt in coming out to give us the estimate and continued to follow-up until our decision had been made.

They were very good. We used other provider but they don't have the same weed control and responsiveness. We are sticking with them because they have a competitive price and they do a good job.

They've done an excellent job with our lawn.

I called another company that eventually just picked up with, "Hello?" These guys, when I call someone picks up and can answer my questions. The lawn evaluation was very thorough. They left a nice flier with exactly what they recommend, what weeds they specifically see, that our grass was cut too short, blade too dull etc. Not sure if they're cheaper, but seem competitive and very easy to work with. I wasn't here for the evaluation or application, but they let me know it was done, and payment was easy (though an online auto pay would sure be nice). We've only had the one application, but our grass is greener (will update as we have more experience with them). They said they'd be available to answer questions about what weeds are in my yard and how to care for it, and so far they've always been available. They didn't presume to overseed (though they recommended it), so I think we'll go with some of their additional services and add to our review.

I haven't found anybody that is better. They always pick up for phone when you call. I've been using them for 7-8 years.

They do a good job. They are fast, friendly and very thorough. I think I get good deal for what I get.They come out when they are supposed to.

I pay about $220 yearly for 5 treatments. They are punctual and the grass looks great. We have used other ones where we have had issues with weeds and things; we don't have that issue with them. They seem to put it on at the correct time and give us good instructions on how to take care of it after they are done. Their prices are a little higher but I will use them again in the future.

We have used them for several years, and we are happy with their services. We used another company before them and were not happy with the way our lawn was looking with them. Once we started using them, we have been happy with our lawn.

They are very good about phoning ahead and always arrive as scheduled. They also give good feedback on the yard.
