Jake made this process incredibly easy and very seamless for us. We had lost a contractor due to personal issues and Jake found us somebody to finish the project. The work was so good, we hired him to redo our stairs. The work was quality, and he followed up to make sure the project was completed on time and well done. We loved the people that were hired to do our projects. They were friendly and driven and weâ d happily have them back. The pricing was fair and I can not speak highly enough of this company. Would definitely recommend them to friends and have them back to work on our house in the future.

Do not pay large deposit. Pay as they complete work. Must be onsite to inspect work otherwise they will take shortcuts.

Good work, done in one day

Jake and his team were nothing but professional and friendly. They came in and were very respectful working around our schedule especially with a toddler and his napping and they even went out to the store to replace blown fuses for us as well. Our flooring came out so beautiful after 50 years of wear and tear. Highly recommend them.

The project went super smooth. Job was completed in less than a week from the day of the estimate. Great communication, the guys doing the work were awesome, very respectful and always kept us updated on what was happening.

Did a great job. Repaired crack in wall when baseboards did not come off easily. Would definitely hire them again. Plan to have them do some wood floor restoration .

From beginning to end, the process was disorganized and unprofessional. Firstly, when the owner, Jake, came to quote me, he said he takes a 50% deposit up front, which is no problem. However, I changed my mind about the project, he came back to quote me again the next day and asked me if I already had the check for 50% the quote he had literally just given me. You should know up front that Footprints hires independent contractors. I was getting vinyl plank put down in the common areas, and tile done in the bathrooms. Jake and I talked about this several times, to include the weekend before the project started when I told him I had already bought the tile. On the first day of the project, Jake brought a man by the name of Tornell McColley to my house to do all the floors. Tornell is flat out lazy. For some reason, Jake thought I was getting LVP that looked like tile in the bathroom, but Tornell ?doesn?t do tile,? so Jake had to send out a separate contractor, Hillary, to do the tile in the bathrooms. This led to me making several unnecessary trips to Lowe?s for materials. I?ll also note that when the project started, Jake only told me to get flooring. When the contractors showed up, they needed other things, which in my opinion should be bought by the company and billed to the customer. Part of my project expenses was demo of the existing tile in my house, which he didn?t do because he ?wasn?t insured and didn?t want to damage the sub floor.? That led to me paying for an extra week of labor so he could install plywood in the dining area to level the floor. Christmas week, he basically rushed through the job on the quarter round, and had my kitchen and landings looking like I did it myself. He forgot to put my pantry door back on, and also forgot to turn my gas stove back on. Then he had the nerve to put a sign in my front yard to promote his business. I felt like Jake wasn?t concerned at all about the me, the customer. Two days before the project was over, I contacted HIM about the final invoice, which he sent to me via text message. I had to ask him for a refund on the demolition that wasn?t done, which he basically said that he knew about, however, since he brought in a different contractor for the bathrooms, was trying to use that money to offset the cost of hiring him. That charge was nowhere on either of the ?invoices? I received. The only upside to this horrendous experience is that the man who did my tile, Hillary, did a great job on the bathrooms, and also came back to fix Tornell?s mess. He?s the only reason this company didn?t get a half a star. I will say though, when he came back to fix the quarter round, he mentioned a couple of times that he was there as a volunteer because ?no one wanted to come back here,? which I assume he meant Jake and Tornell. Overall this experience was awful. This is my first house, and to have people come in and do things they wouldn?t do in their own houses after they were paid well over what they deserved, is an insult, especially to a 7-year Active Duty vet, who is expected to be professional with customers at all times. Unfortunately, I wouldn?t recommend this business to anyone based on my experience.

Jeremy and Jake exceeded expectations and went above and beyond to fix the squeakiness in all my bedrooms and living room, more than what we talked for. Gave tons of advice on other home projects and were very friendly to work with.

Canâ t say enough about what an amazing job these guys did. Prompt, professional, and extremely detail oriented. Would highly recommend them to anyone
