Description of Work: The brick on my water heater chimney was crumbling due to age/weather over the years. It was torn down and replaced with a pipe, complete with a new chimney liner and adequate flashing all around the base. Work was very clean. It looks great, and the price was perfect. I highly recommend this provider.

Description of Work: Ryan repaired some cracks and other items in my chimney, removed a rusty dampener, and installed a new cap (where you can open/close flue via cord that hangs down the chimney). It went very well. His price was a little higher than some of the other bids I received, but he seemed the most confident in what it would take to get the job done.

Description of Work: Called me back after about a week. Seemed interested but weather or something got in the way. After close to another week he called me (that's a plus) and sounded sincere in fixing my problem but did not show up. Three times now we've talked about him coming out and yet he hasn't. Maybe my job is too small for him - I need the storm chase on my chimney re-attached or replaced, could probably do it myself but it's about 2.5 stories up, higher than my ladder will reach. Enough is enough.

I'm sorry, I thought I made it clear that I would not attempt this project during the winter and was going to need to wait, --till probably March or April. (Chimney needed a new chimney top cover, being close to 40 feet in the air with no roof approach. Work could only be performed off the top of a ladder from one particular spot at the base of chimney, --this spot happened to be where all the snow and melt off would collect leaving puddles and a sheet of ice.) When I went out to do this estimate I pointed this fact out to the owner and he agreed it would have to wait till Spring for safety's sake. Again, I apologize it didn't work out sooner for me to do the repair, but am glad you were able to find someone who could mange it.

Description of Work: Ryan did an amazing job! He took great care in what he was doing and was very thorough. The issue with my gas fireplace turned out to need more than just the deep cleaning he initially quoted. Although he easily performed four hours worth of work and could have charged three times what he did he stood by his original quote stating, I want you to be happy with the finished product and I will stand behind my original quote. The work was meticulous. I would recommend his work to anyone without hesitation. My real estate agent is going to recommend him to her clients. A+

I called and asked them to come out to look at my woodburning stove; I thought there was a piece missing from the smokestack. He showed up on time, was very pleasant, knowledgeable and informative. As it happened, there is nothing missing, so after a very thorough inspection and a lot of great advice, Ryan left me with his number and I will call him when my stove needs service!

I''m sorry you got overlooked, I typically respond back to a customer's detailed voice message within 24 hours and in extreme cases, during my busy season from Nov. to Christmas, by weeks end (the following Monday). I honestly have no record of your call on my log sheets and sometimes I receive messages where the customer does forget to leave a number and I am unable to return their call(And I do reference my caller ID before giving up). For what it's worth, feel free to call me to communicate further and I'll try to see if I can make it up to you if I can... Thanks for your help in making me aware of how I can improve in my customer service.

Ryan came out and gave me an estimate with several options to choose from. I liked that he had a very easy going and relaxed personality. The work was done very well, and he coordinated with my roofers to get the job do. Would definately do business with again.

I couldn't be more pleased. Ryan coordinated his work with the roofer to optimize efficiency and eliminate redundant work or delays. He performed the work himself and took great pains to make a big dirty job clean and manageable. He ordered all required piece parts and there were no delays in delivery and installation of a quality wood burning stove; after making the necessary modification on my existing fireplace, damper and chimney. When the job was completed, he provided instruction and warranty information and made it clear he stood behind his work, if there was ever a problem. So far all is perfect, a great job and a craftsman whom I would be happy to do additional work.
Description of Work: Custom Fireplace Authority was recommended by my roofer (Marathon Services of Omaha) and Ryan Seybert came out and personally scoped the job and provided a number of recommendations base upon cost (from high to low) for the repair or replacement of a damaged cinder block chimney. After I made the decision, he provided a prompt estimate of cost and work schedule then personally performed all the work of tearing off a section of my old chimney, relining and replacing the removed section; including modifications from the fireplace to the new chimney topper. Finally he installed a quality Jotul wood burning stove.

Very professional, polite and punctual. True to his word, he performed the repair when he said he would. Very pleased with his work and the price.
Description of Work: Ryan completely repaired the tuck work on the entire chimney. His work looks great. He also cleaned and inspected the interior of the chimney leaving the fireplace spotless while also leaving the living room as clean as he found it.

Knowledgeable, experienced, punctual for the estimate. Very late for the appointment to do the actual job (custom cap fabrication not done on time by sub-contractor), but when he finally got here he did a very good job.
